Good guess. [ He means it, because so far, things have been progressing smoothly. The forms in the noose haven't had any tightened ropes, a relief in and of itself.

Of course, that means this next letter is important. It can either spell good tides or awful ones. ]

[ Well, alright. It got them a little further, but the blank spaces still aren't making much sense. ]

[ She curses to herself, clicking her tongue with a little frustration. At least they haven't gotten anything incorrect just yet, but the next letter-- it's going to be difficult. ]

...N. [ Her voice cracks a bit, sounding a little nervous. ]

[ The small curse she voices is just about how he feels. When she guesses, he holds his breath and only releases it as he sees the blanks fill in.

[ And here's their first error. A blaring sound signals that the letter is incorrect to solve the puzzle, and the noose tightens around the body seen hanging. Gino swallows– it might not be real, but it's enough to be disconcerting.

He's not sure how to reassure the younger girl, so he just stays quiet. Which may or may not backfire. Instead, he counts out the letters– he can make a guess here. ]

There's a sudden pop of confetti and a heavy thump that follows as the body falls from where it hangs; except it's not a person at all. Just a doll. Anger spikes in the back of his throat and he has to bite his tongue from saying anything scathing. ]
