[ I'm going to die is the first thought that flashes through Gou's head when she sees the ghosts emerge from the walls. Sure, none of them have actually physically harmed her, but those memories were far from pleasant.

She can't even enjoy the utterly ridiculous appearances of the ghosts, beyond a brief, cursory note that they're different from the others. ]

Ah!

[ Her head still ringing from the whistle and out of breath from her previous exertions, Gou twists and dives for the closest memory ball she can see. ]

[ Luckily for Gou, this is just a game, should she die she really shouldn't suffer any permanent damage. Though there certainly has been emotional damage inflicted on losers thanks to CERES shitty games before...

Not that any of that is going to stop Nonon. She's already into this and excited at the chance of a chase. ]

March! Two, three four... March!!

[ Nonon calls out to her band, finding herself lifted up by two sideways base drums with little arms that give her a base to stand on and wiry legs that march her forward (it's really more like running) trying to stop Gou. Of course, all the instruments seem to be playing themselves, filling the game with music. ]

sorry this took me so long ;; and I hope this works for wrapping it up?

[ Sadly, she's not yet aware of that oh-so-lovely fact about the games. She's probably about to learn; at the very least, it feels like she's about to die. Her lungs feel like they are about to burst and her blood is pounding in her ears, though nothing can drown out the music from the instruments.

If she makes it out of this alive, Gou needs to work on improving her athletic abilities. Because this? Is really terrible. And if these games are any examples of what's in store for her future, then she's in for a world of hurt.

She manages to stay just a few steps ahead of the instruments for a minute or two. Until she stumbles, and two of them converge on her.

How does the point system work, anyway? Gou's not sure, but Nonon's got all of them. And Gou -

Well. Painful images are perhaps a worse fate than death. ]

Make them stop! Ah! You win.

[ Nonon conducts her ghost orchestra like a pro. She has them pincering Gou before she can even realize it. She lets her take a few of those orbs just to bring her into her trap.

And just like that it's over. She's lost and Nonon's won, and the little pink monster is grinning from ear to ear. Little does she know about the failure condition, but she's too pumped about winning to care. As it is with ViViD games, winning means money, and money means new hats. ]

That wasn't bad Red, but you're still ten thousand years too early to challenge me. Try levelling up a bit before you meet me again.

[ And with a sly little wave Nonon logs out, having little idea of just who she had met.. ]
