The oceans back home have their tales of the mysterious and the impossible, people with abilities even more exceptional than his own. Ships that fall from the sky. The shadows of giants with no sources. They stop a bit short of this level.

No. Even when he tries to process that one aspect at a time for a better understanding, it turns out there's no better understanding to be had. ]

No idea if you could really call them elected officials, but they were pretty mad about what happened. They weren't even really talking to us at first, they were just really mad at Vincere...the old CEO of CERES. They kept talking about things that were stolen from them and how they wanted them back. Maris was more angry than Caeli, but it's hard to imagine a cloud really being mad anyway. Maris was talking about how we'd pay for mistakes.

...then again, Caeli was talking about washing all of us away so there's that. They eventually got what they wanted though after everything.
