Ah, I see... In that case, it likely doesn't make sense to travel together at all. [Since Leon definitely has no intentions of running through a swamp, oops... don't just abandon people, Leon!!]

[It's disappointing, yes, but it's not without reason. What help can Armin offer if they're taken by surprise? Not much, half dressed and unarmed as he is.
Self preservation says that Armin ought to come up with something to tip this conversation back into a better direction. An old, familiar sensation of guilt at being useless in a situation is much louder. Consequently, Armin shuts his mouth and lets it drop at that. This has certainly been easy come, easy go, hasn't it?
Nearly, anyway. There's one thing to keep in mind. He points the direction they'd both apparently been heading, the direct opposite of where Armin himself had come from.]
I've been going that way. It seems to make the most sense.
[Make that nearly useless in the situation. He can offer that much in the way of advice, at least, if they're going to part ways soon.]

So he simply nods at the advice, because, well... he'll take it.
And after a long, somewhat begrudging pause, he'll add his own piece of advice.]
What you are looking for is a place to "log out". It will appear somewhere, once all of our tasks have been completed. Stepping through there will take you to the city of Cerealia properly.
[... And that was his good deed for the day, he...tried, now he doesn't have to be sheepish when he sees Stahn next.]

He tries not to be too obvious about it, though.]
How will I know it when I see it?
no subject
[as in bright shiny lights and big hovering letters sort of thing.]
I'll leave you to it, then.
[He did his best, he tried to be nice, he's all nice'd out.]

[He doesn't, exactly. It's just that he can't think of a good reason to keep the man. In theory, Armin will find this Log Out and be fine. He clenches his fists to stop himself from reaching out and bites his tongue to keep him from calling after the man.
There's nothing to be afraid of. It isn't real, right? This stranger is perfectly comfortable walking away, when he'd stopped to begin with. It all adds up to a clear picture that says Armin will be fine.
It's still hard to hold that hope. Experience tells Armin that separation from the crowd often means death. Besides, he's never really been on his own in life. That's all he's really afraid of. It isn't a valid reason, so he doesn't try to stop the man from leaving again.]
