Hey, you were the one that stayed and held off the animals. I had the easy job there. And I wasn't about to just run off without trying to make sure everyone else had made it too.

[Even as Usagi, even with her crybaby and heightened terror, she has her brave moments. Her selflessness and determination to keep others safe, out of harm's way. There's a pause as she catches her breath from all the running, hands on her knees as she glances back to the entrance/exit of the petting zoo.]

You don't think they'll make it out here, do you? Should we tell others?

Still, I don't think I'd have gotten so many people out, so it helped a lot.

[he thinks that deserves a lot of credit, because even holding off the monsters—he'd feel really awful if more people got hurt because there was nobody around to guide them.]

We should probably say something. I think I tired them out, but I don't know how long they'll stay that way. I don't want anyone else getting hurt if they recover fast from it.

If they're just passed out, even that much should help and give us a break, a chance for the staff to figure something, but....you're right. Just to be safe, we should.

[She's just not sure if they might be better to cover their bases and split up or wander, informing people together to be better heard and noticed.]

Should we split up or stick together?

[he pauses for a moment to think on that (okay, more like he's silently seeking advice from his sword, but... well, usagi can't hear that so...), looking down at the sword still in hand before he looks back to her with a decisive nod.]

We should stick together. We may get to more people faster if we split up, but it could still be dangerous.

[tiarae]

Okay. Right, that makes sense. We can't be sure if the animals didn't manage to escape the zoo. I'll stick with you then.

[She watches him with the sword before giving a nod and seemingly not thinking too much on it. After all, she has a talking cat back home. A talking weapon surely wouldn't actually be that strange if he was somehow communicating with it.]

So, which way first? Left, or right from here?

[with that decided, they can figure out the next course of action is. left or right? well, time time fly by the seat of their pants.]

Maybe we could start to the right and circle back to the left? I think we should have enough time.

Right then. That works for me.

[Usagi doesn't really mind. Just wanted to be sure on which direction initially, figuring it was obvious they would need to circle back around if they wanted to cover the whole area and not split up to meet up halfway.]

Than let's go!

[She takes his hand, perhaps a bit bold, or just not thinking on it, as she then starts to run, faster than one might expect her to, as she calls out to anyone nearby they come across.]
