[and she scampers away.... IS SHE GONNA LEAVE HIM??? after a few minutes, she comes back bearing a giant bucket.... and from the way it's sloshing around, it's filled with WATER from the dunk tank she just harassed]

Water's best for sticky things, after all. [is she gonna pour it all over namazuo?!?!?]

[Rude... that would be the best use of that promise though?! Namazuo would quite happily come when she beckoned if it meant getting great discounts on food.

But he has faith that she isn't going to just ditch him!! He kind of has to, because this slime has started shifting uncomfortably, and Namazuo Doesn't Like It. Blessedly, she comes back quickly-- but what kind of dubious plan is this?!]

Are you sure? [More importantly, isn't that slime slowly edging towards her...]

I wouldn't be doing this if I wasn't! [and plus it's always fun to dump water on people. The slime.... is totally edging towards her... and takes the chance it's given when Okuni skirts closer.... by latching onto her ankle.]

[with a loud 'EW!!!' Okuni immediately upends the bucket over the slimed Namazuo and her unfortunate shoes... yay]

[LOOK it's alien slime, maybe the rules don't apply here.

But it's too late to argue--now he's slimy and wet, gross. The slime recoils with something like a hiss (or there's a snake hiding in there), but it doesn't quite free them completely. Better start running, kids...]

[Okuni shrieks once, then grabs Namazuo by the arm to try and... tug him... free.... but the slime isn't letting go of her ankle???]

I should have asked for hot water instead! [She shoots him a look.] Can't you cut yourself out?!

It doesn't work like that! [HE'S A WAKIZASHI NOT A STEAK KNIFE--but oh, that gives him a good(?) idea.] If I demanifest, do you think you could grab me and run?

[thankfully, Okuni's seen Kashuu demanifest so she immediately understands what he's asking. She gives a sharp nod, then yanks her ankle away from the slime.]
