Gravity Falls? Is that some sort of crazy science theme park or something? [Seriously, though, what sort of name is that for a town??] Anyway, I'm not ragging on you because this is new to you, I'm just-- surprised you haven't already been eaten if this is a common thing where you're from.

[Yusuke that's mean bro 8( He notices the wince, however, and gives an airy wave with his hand, as if to brush aside the concern.]

But yeah, don't worry, these'll be gone in a couple of hours on my end. It's not me I'm concerned about getting injured, though. It's you. Unless you're hiding some sort of healing power that I'm not aware of?

Nah, it's just some weird place in Oregon but if it were some crazy theme park, it would make a whole lot more sense!

Because I'm kind of surprised Dipper and I haven't died yet or anything if you ask me!

[She said all with a nervous laugh. Sure, it was kind of morbid but it was true. To think that she nearly gotten killed by that stupid evil triangle....

I... got no clue where Oregon is, but okay? [Sorry, Mabel, he has about as much reason to know US states as she does Japanese prefectures, so he's just going to assume it's in America and leave it at that.

Maybe it wasn't going to do any good to constantly be the voice of reason here. After all, she was a young girl in a dangerous situation, and, judging by that nervous laugh of hers, it was probably a way to cope with the craziness and mayhem without going nuts herself. Perhaps it was just better to keep an eye on her, in case something did manage to wind up preying upon them, and quit fussing over her so much.

He lets out a small snicker at her last comment, deciding to go along for now while there was no immediate threat.]

The 'good ol' wild', though, huh? So, are we going to be wiping our butts with leaves, then? Fighting bears? Too bad there's no sweet potatoes or anything like that around, 'cuz we totally could have had a campfire roast.

[However, her limping doesn't go unnoticed by Yusuke as they continue to walk, and his brow furrows. If this kid really did screw up her feet with that drop...

Before he can bring it up to her, though, she stops, and her passionate speech about Waddles is such a surprise he bursts out laughing despite himself.]

Oh yeah? You really think you can take me on? The Great Demon King Urameshi himself? [Well-- sorta Demon King. He was technically one for like a few months after Raizen died but that's neither here nor there.]

[And, without warning, he bends down to scoop her and the pig up in one smooth gesture, hoisting her into his arms.]

Unfortunately for you, I'm not about to go and fight a kid with a busted ankle. Why the hell didn't you say something earlier?

[And there's a brief pause, before he experimentally squeezes said ankle.]

I mean, it IS your ankle, right?

[Yusuke you're not a doctor STOP.]

[Yusuke, what are you doing? While she didn't mind being picked up by him (and she probably appericated it!), she just immeidately flinched at the pressure from her ankle!]

O-Ow...! [She shouted but that just made her look gulity as charged! And especially in front of a demon king? She just ssssllloowwwllllyyy tilted her head away from him!]

Yeah, it is but what would a Great Demon King want to know about that? ...You're not some kind of evil minion working for some kind of evil triangle are you?

[He was trying to figure out the source of pain, okay?? Which his clearly advanced and knowledgeable techniques of first-aid helped in this scenario, so good job Yusuke, you just received your medical degree!!

All joking aside, however, it at least confirmed his suspicions that her ankle was injured, so he wasn't about to let her walk again any time soon. Perfect. Now they really were sitting ducks.

It also seemed that she was taking him seriously about the 'Demon King' stuff... or, at least, he thought she was? What was that evil triangle thing about? And why did everyone assume he was a minion, he's a main character dammit]

One, I'm not the minion type, and two? Even if I did wind up stooping that low, I'd probably work for something a lot cooler than a freaking shape.

I'm asking because I don't want you or your pork chop there to get gobbled up by any of these gross things before you can make a get-away! Which, y'know, obviously you can't now, at least not without an extra pair of legs.

[Clearly, Yusuke was the best doctor around! What better way to see if a person was hurt then to just touch and poke the injured site! He was going to go far!

But when he finally figured it out, Mabel just had to wince. Well now what? So much for trying to impress the Demon King before her! (Although, she wasn't too sure if he was serious about that. But then again, when she had to fight an evil demonic triangle, anything could happen!)

Although, that didn't stop her from looking at him with suspiciously]

Well, you never know! An evil triangle is a lot scarier than you think! [Never underestimate the power of a shape, indeed! Before she could speak up though, she started mumbling to herself. As she crossed her arms, all she could do was pout]

But I think I can still walk! I don't think it's that bad! ...right?
