[ Oh god. Rhys already has more than enough stuff to worry about with the code. Thinking about monsters or anything would make this nightmare a million times worse. He'll just focus on what's in front of him, and not the fact that their code is breaking down with every passing moment. Or the fact that there's monsters lurking somewhere around here. Or that for some reason, he feels like there's something watching them...

Maybe it's good to get his head spun into something else. ]

S-So. Where...are you from? [ Of course, this guy is going to say places that Rhys is totally unfamiliar with. This whole "worlds" thing is such an oddity. ] Or should I ask when?

[ There's definitely something watching them but Giorno's not going to say a word and instead keep up the light conversation. ]

Italy. [ Giorno answers simply enough and makes sure that he's completely calm about the something that seems to be following them. However, he also gradually starts to pick up his pace a bit. There's no reason for him to panic (or keep panicking) Rhys whenever it wasn't exactly necessary. ]

Have you heard of a place like that? It's on Earth and I feel that it's beauty and food are unmatched.

[ He's also a youngster who hasn't exactly done a lot of traveling just yet in his life. But it's better to talk about good things instead of the looming monster... ]

...Italy? [ It's not like he spends his free time studying maps of Pandora all day, but that loses him pretty dang easily. At least until he's told about what planet it's from.

Alright, any panic he's felt is pushed to the side. Rhys is centuries in the future; the fact that there's someone he's talking to that's from Earth is pretty great! Did they even cover Earth in classes anymore? It was literally one of those planets that people knew about, but it had been gone for so long that people really didn't care anymore. Or at least, those not interested in the fascinating history of the universe.

Rhys wasn't a space guy or anything, but still. That's pretty neat! ] You actually came from Earth? That's pretty impressive, actually. I remember learning that most people from Earth could barely walk on two legs, let alone try and function. If that's the case, you're doing pretty great!

[ Well, while Giorno's not sure how to exactly handle the way that Rhys talks about Earth, he's glad that at least he's stopped panicking or feeling uneasy with the situation. Normal was good. Normal was exactly how they should behave as Giorno casually begins to look around for things he could use for his Stand given that his go-to of his what he was wearing wasn't exactly a clear option. ]

Is it that so? There are many people who seem to be quite capable of moving around and functioning as I do back on Earth. [ With the exceptions of those who couldn't of course, but there were always those sorts. ]

Where are you from? You clearly know of Earth but are not from it?
