![]() ViViD's usual worlds are unfortunately down for maintenance. While CERES' programmers work on getting it back up and running, all new entrees this round will be going through a different level than usual. Only a single world is accessible at the moment, a simple one entitled 'CERESLearn.' "What the $%@& is this?" you must be thinking. Well, it's simple! It's a study program, of course! CERES' advanced AI technology is here to make sure you learn and that you learn sexily. Whether or not you pay attention to the actual content is up to you, the player. Please enjoy it while it lasts. They're here to teach you a variety of subjects and also to make you feel vaguely uncomfortable all over. New arrivals and those logging into ViViD will first find themselves in a classroom with a new operator greeting them rather than Vidia.

Welcome to CEREALIA's latest intro post. For your convenience, we have compiled a post detailing everyone's usual arrival experience (which is not entirely applicable this round for reasons stated above^) and a FAQ that should explain everything in more detail. Please read them thoroughly before playing. Thank you! |

...even if she probably would, but she'll remain indignant before changing the subject.] Anyway, everything in this place is weird. You better just get used to it now.
no subject
[That was dumb of him. Not all kids want to play with toys!]
I'll try my best to. [That comment is actually very worrying. Why are they keeping a kid here again?]
What's the weirdest thing you've seen here so far? Should I even be asking? [Shirou's curious and the same time he's almost afraid of the answer.]
no subject
It's probably easier to ask what isn't weird about things here. [truth be told, she doesn't really have a full understanding of it either. she's picked up on some things by herself, but the ceres-given explanations largely went over her head and ludger purposely over-simplified things for her. so she's probably not the right person to ask that question. whoops.]
no subject
You have a point. I know this isn't weird so I'll go ahead and ask.
What's your name? I'm Emiya Shirou. [Introductions aren't weird!!]
no subject
and hey, he even wins a couple of points for not being weird about introductions, which is more than can be said about some of the other people she's met.]
Well, at least you know that's not weird. I'm Elle. Elle Mel Marta.
no subject
I wish I could have met you under better circumstances, but it's nice to meet you, Elle. [Damn, it wasn't polite of him to say her name right away was it? He looks uncertain!]
You don't mind being called Elle, do you?
no subject
[she's giving him a look like "seriously, what kind of idiot are you?" when he asks that. because she doesn't have any idea what else could come of that.]
no subject
[Just some Japanese custom he's used to although apparently Elle doesn't even care about that. ]
It's nothing, Elle.
no subject
That sounds really formal. [like... really formal.]
no subject
[He's wondering what he should do with Elle instead. She's clearly too young to be left on her own.]
Elle, do you recognize anyone here? [Shirou treats Elle like a lost child.]
no subject
I'm not a little kid, and I'm not lost... You don't have to find someone who's supposed to be taking care of me or something. [ludger's nearby, but she can handle slipping away when he's busy. she's traveled way, way further than that on her own.]
no subject
Okay, you aren't lost and you aren't little. [He admits defeat.]
Who normally takes care of you, Elle? It can't be safe for you to be by yourself.
no subject
[she's judging so hard. okay, so maybe it's kind of her fault for not really specifying that ludger's... around here somewhere, but she's not a toddler. she can handle doing stuff like this on her own.
really, she'd probably be more open to it if she was actually lost, but since she isn't, she just finds him to be weirdly over-concerned about it.]
no subject
Do I really come off as nosy? [He just wants to be helpful! Shirou doesn't really mind being judged because most of all Elle has a point. ]
no subject
[again, because she's not lost... or even really alone.]
no subject
I don't know where to even begin with all of this. To be honest, I can completely use your help and it was wrong of me to try and help you instead.
no subject
[she's pretty sure that's an okay place to use that phrase.]
no subject
[Shirou looks up for a second like he's pretty sure he doesn't have a hat to hold onto but...he smiles because Elle's trying her best.]
I heard something bad happens whenever newcomers arrive here. What happened when you came?
no subject
[she folds her arms, thinking for a second. obviously, she hasn't forgotten what happened to her... she just isn't sure that shirou can handle with without freaking out. so!]
Don't freak out when I tell you or anything, 'kay?
no subject
I'm ready to listen to anything you have to say, Elle.
no subject
Someone tried to say I was a... mafia crimelord and all these killer robots tried to get me. [she still doesn't even know what a mafia crimelord is. aside from a bad guy.]
no subject
[He promised he wouldn't freak out, but he looks unsettled.]
I assume everything went well because you're safe now.
no subject
[because ludger saved her, but she totally wasn't scared or anything, okay.]
I dunno what happened... I guess they messed something up. I still don't really know what a mafia crimelord even does, aside from be a creepy bad guy or something.
no subject
[He's not only saying that because Elle's just a kid. ]
No, actually it's better that you don't know what a mafia crimelord does yet.
Creepy bad guy isn't off the mark.
no subject
Anyway, it's not really fair. Everyone keeps telling me they're bad, but if I was getting blamed for stuff, I think I should be able to know what it is I'm being blame for! [she folds her arms over her chest, making a face that sits somewhere between pouting and outright annoyance. seriously, grownups are so weird about that stuff sometimes.]
