![]() ViViD's usual worlds are unfortunately down for maintenance. While CERES' programmers work on getting it back up and running, all new entrees this round will be going through a different level than usual. Only a single world is accessible at the moment, a simple one entitled 'CERESLearn.' "What the $%@& is this?" you must be thinking. Well, it's simple! It's a study program, of course! CERES' advanced AI technology is here to make sure you learn and that you learn sexily. Whether or not you pay attention to the actual content is up to you, the player. Please enjoy it while it lasts. They're here to teach you a variety of subjects and also to make you feel vaguely uncomfortable all over. New arrivals and those logging into ViViD will first find themselves in a classroom with a new operator greeting them rather than Vidia.

Welcome to CEREALIA's latest intro post. For your convenience, we have compiled a post detailing everyone's usual arrival experience (which is not entirely applicable this round for reasons stated above^) and a FAQ that should explain everything in more detail. Please read them thoroughly before playing. Thank you! |

It doesn't smell like any beef I've ever eaten... how about you?
[Lightly, as Elza invites himself to a seat next to Zara, pausing only a moment to nod his head. He doesn't make any moves to touch his own food quite yet... despite giving it a sniff and the bun a mildly interested poke.
Instead, he's half-twisting in his chair to face Zara properly, one hand removing his longsword and propping it nearby. Within reach but out of the way.]

Zara shakes his head, though he returns the nod of greeting first. Not that he ate a lot of it. He is a rabbit, after all. ]
Truly, everything about this place is strange... Even the food. [ a pause. ] After that "class," I'm not feeling very inclined to trust what they give me.
no subject
I would hope that this isn't going to turn into a giant bug and try to eat us, at the very least.
[Elza gives the hamburger another wry look before his expression sobers, his hand curling.] How are we even here? What they told us-- it's unbelievable. Besides, you and Nesso were at the castle trying to get the young lady, weren't you?
no subject
Let's hope not.
[ but onto more serious topics. Naturally, the mention of Fiona is sobering enough on its own. While he's keeping a strong face on the outside, it's safe to say he's been doing but worrying about her on the inside - not that that's too different from his normal state of being. His eyes narrow, dropping to the table. ]
... We certainly were. I listened to the explanation, but the machines and technology are far beyond what even I know... There's a lot that I couldn't understand. [ aside from the major points: Weblin is in trouble. Moreso than usual. But... ] ... It's impossible for me to say whether or not what they said about the country is true.
no subject
[He says it dryly, but he's serious, too. He's very much out of his element here, and he knows it, and that's a poor way to be in an unfamiliar area with threats looming. The first thing to do is try and familiarise themselves as much as possible.]
I just don't recall anything like what they're describing. Surely, if something terrible happened, we'd have at least a memory of something.
no subject
[ the how part is still a mystery to him, but the concept, at least, makes some sense. Kind of. ]
As for reading about it, that's actually my plan, other than asking the locals.
[ he looks up at Elza for a moment, and one gets the sense he'd like to ask him to do the same, but he knows he doesn't have the right to order him around. ]
no subject
Something like that... It shouldn't be possible.
[But, hm. His fingers comb over his hair before he notices the way that Zara's looking at him. One ear twitches and he smiles easy, obligingly.]
I'll ask around, too. We should convene afterward and discuss whatever it is we hear.
no subject
Thank you. I think that's the best we can do right now, aside of getting in contact with some of the higher-ups.
[ which is something he's heard isn't easy. That won't keep him from trying, though. ]
no subject
[His ears twitch and his lips purse in a thoughtful frown.]
How difficult do you think it'd be to try to meet with them?
no subject
... From what I've heard, very. A few of the people who have been here longer than me said it's no easy task.
no subject
Probably more difficulty than meeting with the royalty... and you'd likely want to meet with them just as much. [so yeah he heard the cats are fuckin looney toons by the way]
But, let us try it anyway.
no subject
Mm. We have no other choice. [ not that he can see, at least - blindly rebelling would get them nowhere, especially when they have so little understanding of where they are. ] ... Setting that aside, however - are you all right? You weren't injured back there, were you?
no subject
[He lightly thumps his own fist against his chest with a wry smile.] And yourself? [They don't look like they managed to take a bite out of him! Which is excellent.]
no subject
[ as for himself - well, he hates to invite fussing onto himself (fussing is his job), and he's tempted to lie outright. Fortunately, all he does is downplay things... a lot. Wait, is that even better? ]
I was nicked slightly, but I'm all right. It wasn't anything serious.
no subject
[He assumes that everything here will be of a quality that they're not used to... at all...]
If you're all right, that's good. [He nods slowly, not knowing Zara well enough to realise that he's downplaying things.]
no subject
... That is true. But what they have here might be better than what I'm used to, in all honesty. I'll find a way to use it.
no subject
[Elza smiles.] If there's anything that I can do, just let me know. [He brings his hand lightly to his chest, thumping. He's at your service, Zara!! After all, they're both subordinates (of a kind) of Nesso's.]
no subject
Thank you. The same goes for me. If the three of us work together, we should be able to figure out a solution.
