![]() ViViD's usual worlds are unfortunately down for maintenance. While CERES' programmers work on getting it back up and running, all new entrees this round will be going through a different level than usual. Only a single world is accessible at the moment, a simple one entitled 'CERESLearn.' "What the $%@& is this?" you must be thinking. Well, it's simple! It's a study program, of course! CERES' advanced AI technology is here to make sure you learn and that you learn sexily. Whether or not you pay attention to the actual content is up to you, the player. Please enjoy it while it lasts. They're here to teach you a variety of subjects and also to make you feel vaguely uncomfortable all over. New arrivals and those logging into ViViD will first find themselves in a classroom with a new operator greeting them rather than Vidia.

Welcome to CEREALIA's latest intro post. For your convenience, we have compiled a post detailing everyone's usual arrival experience (which is not entirely applicable this round for reasons stated above^) and a FAQ that should explain everything in more detail. Please read them thoroughly before playing. Thank you! |

[Chizuru, perhaps, has more apprehensions about CERES and its intentions than she should; having been in a place very much like this one before, though, she feels it is somewhat justified.
Anyway, she smiles at Russia before taking the first steps in the direction of her workplace.]
Yes, I'll show you the way! It isn't far at all.
[She's used to walking, anyway, so it doesn't really seem like it's a far distance. But she'll lead the way! Let's play follow the leader...]
Um - I'm sorry... I forgot to introduce myself before. My name is Chizuru Yukimura... it's very nice to meet you, um...?

russia follows, glancing this way and that at the buildings they pass, marveling at the the newness and the strangeness. at chizuru's introduction, he pauses for a brief moment—seemingly to struggle internally over one thing or another—and then answers: ]
Ah, how rude of me! It must have slipped both our minds. Pleased to meet you, Miss Yukimura; I am Russia.
[ this time, his smile is entirely genuine. he seems to have pulled himself together enough to do that, at least! congratulations, you've just met a country. ]

[On the one hand, she feels like she probably should know that name. On the other, even though her companions had been involved with politics, Chizuru herself hasn't; most of the names of places that she knows are places in Japan.
She's a little afraid to ask if he was actually named after a place for fear that she'll have mixed it up with something else and he'll just think she's really weird... so she smiles, instead.]
Mm. I hope that we can get along. [The more friends people have, the better, she thinks!]

[ don't worry about it, chizuru—he didn't really hang around japan much until the early 1800s, and then that... quickly deteriorated. that doesn't stop him from being slightly surprised at her reaction, though; usually, people tend to react with disbelief or amusement when he tells them his name—not that he's in the particular habit of telling people his name. for the most part, they just know him as ivan. ah, country issues.
then again, it's almost... refreshing, in a way. her understated reaction. not a problem! he will just have to teach her about himself later. ]
I would like that.
[ he's thinking almost exactly the same thing! haha, there's no way this could possibly go wrong. ]

ANYWAY, they continue walking for a little bit, and soon enough there they are... just outside the cosplay café! It looks like most of the waitresses are dressed up as catgirls today, and Chizuru inwardly thanks her lucky stars that she's off from work.]
Right this way..!
[In they go, and she snags a menu to hand to him.]
Um - whatever sounds good on there... just let me know, and I'll get it!

What's this? [ catgirls? IN A RESTAURANT? girls dressed as cats. and now you know what a cosplay café is, russia. chizuru, you're officially his favorite. ]
Ah, they're so cute...
[ once inside, he has to physically resist pulling on a passing waitress' fake cat ear just to see how she'll react—which would probably get him in a lot of trouble—but he has plenty of time to be a nuisance later. for now, he takes the menu from chizuru and starts to look through it. ]
I would like some tea, I think. Black, if you have it? With lemon and sugar. [ a beat, and then: ] And your, ah, soup of the day.
