![]() ViViD's usual worlds are unfortunately down for maintenance. While CERES' programmers work on getting it back up and running, all new entrees this round will be going through a different level than usual. Only a single world is accessible at the moment, a simple one entitled 'CERESLearn.' "What the $%@& is this?" you must be thinking. Well, it's simple! It's a study program, of course! CERES' advanced AI technology is here to make sure you learn and that you learn sexily. Whether or not you pay attention to the actual content is up to you, the player. Please enjoy it while it lasts. They're here to teach you a variety of subjects and also to make you feel vaguely uncomfortable all over. New arrivals and those logging into ViViD will first find themselves in a classroom with a new operator greeting them rather than Vidia.

Welcome to CEREALIA's latest intro post. For your convenience, we have compiled a post detailing everyone's usual arrival experience (which is not entirely applicable this round for reasons stated above^) and a FAQ that should explain everything in more detail. Please read them thoroughly before playing. Thank you! |

[ ... but ugh. He looks way too young to have to deal with... that. Any of that, really. Giant bug included. Zara shoots a sympathetic look his way, then resolves to try and steer the conversation away from this topic gently. Clearly, Ciel doesn't want to talk about it, and honestly, he doesn't really, either. ]
But yes, I did. Is that a normal occurence here?
no subject
[ He even looks mildly exasperated, since he had signed up to go to school, but if the lessons were like that, he's good, thanks. ]
I might have missed you, or we were in a different subject, maybe? It seems like they weren't all the same woman, at least. I don't really know how that works, but I also wasn't inclined to think too hard about it once she turned, to be honest.
no subject
Neither was I. It likely had more to do with all of the futuristic technology here... I really need to learn more about it.
[ like the computers. and the weird device they gave him, what even is it?? ]
no subject
[ But Ciel nods in agreement, since he's a junior member of Team Sensible, so this makes sense to him. ]
As do I... This is quite far beyond what I would expect from home, so I scarcely know where to start.
no subject
[ because he was feeling like he was starting off a step behind the rest. Zara is sure he can catch up and understand, with enough study, but it would take time. ]
What are the living quarters like? More of this?
no subject
More or less. They are... strange. They seem more like business buildings to me, but apparently people live in them. They're tiny, at least compared to my manor, no more than a few rooms, and I can hardly even think of how to explain how the furniture works, but...
[ Ciel trails off with more of a frown, since yeah, it's too future for him to even really fathom ]
It's not bad, I suppose.
no subject
Even the furniture is confusing? Good grief... I didn't think that was possible.
no subject
Well, it is not confusing to get, at least. I simply have no idea how it works. But you're able to pick whatever style you want, and I suppose like that game, it just comes to be.
no subject
I... see. Well, it's certainly convenient. [ sort of. It's more of an idle comment than an actual attempt to be optimistic, since it doesn't do much about the fact that he's trapped in some bizarre place with no idea of how Fiona is faring - to say nothing of his lord Earl Galland and the other servants. Zara purses his lips. ]
... They're setting us up to stay here for a long time, aren't they?
no subject
[ But Zara's comment gets Ciel to frown again with a distrustful expression, since he had realized that too, but hadn't wanted to give it too much thought, in honesty. It wasn't really something he wanted to dwell on with everything else. ]
It seems like it. And that doesn't bode well for us, does it?
