![]() ViViD's usual worlds are unfortunately down for maintenance. While CERES' programmers work on getting it back up and running, all new entrees this round will be going through a different level than usual. Only a single world is accessible at the moment, a simple one entitled 'CERESLearn.' "What the $%@& is this?" you must be thinking. Well, it's simple! It's a study program, of course! CERES' advanced AI technology is here to make sure you learn and that you learn sexily. Whether or not you pay attention to the actual content is up to you, the player. Please enjoy it while it lasts. They're here to teach you a variety of subjects and also to make you feel vaguely uncomfortable all over. New arrivals and those logging into ViViD will first find themselves in a classroom with a new operator greeting them rather than Vidia.

Welcome to CEREALIA's latest intro post. For your convenience, we have compiled a post detailing everyone's usual arrival experience (which is not entirely applicable this round for reasons stated above^) and a FAQ that should explain everything in more detail. Please read them thoroughly before playing. Thank you! |

ugh, this would be a lot easier if it was a gross monster. ] Sorry, what is my move supposed to be again?
no subject
[Stop being such a baby Ludger.]
no subject
It feels kind of wrong to suddenly attack her... [ for whatever reason, hilda actually seems rather excited at the prospect. probably because she's misinterpreting the word "attack" entirely, but she seems to be encouraging either of them to do so.
which really just makes actually doing it even harder. ]
no subject
[She sighs. Perhaps Ludger is too soft-hearted.]
You seem kind Ludger. Maybe you are not suited to this task.
no subject
[ though that confuses him for a second, he recognizes its not that important. instead he winces a little at her accusation, which is entirely true. ]
That's not it... but what if we're wrong? If we do something reckless, we might get stuck here even longer.
no subject
[Perhaps she is being hasty in her attempt to escape.]
Do you have a better suggestion then? I would rather not remain here with such an...intrusive person.
no subject
[ it's not like anything's forcing them to remain in this classroom.
though he's not really sure where they could go from there. ]
no subject
[Really, she just wants to see if there's any consequence for leaving without having to endure said consequence herself.]
no subject
[ though now that he's say it out loud, it sounds less ridiculous (or more, depending on perspective). he considers it for a moment, before getting up out of his chair. before anyone can say or do anything... he starts running for the exit to the classroom, probably faster than is actually necessary. ]

In the last moment Rider jumps from her seat and onto her desk, throwing her chained dagger at Hilda and gouging her in the back. The gouge does nothing, but Rider uses the nail stuck in the back to pull Hilda back so she(?) can't reach Ludger.]
So this is your true form. I prefer you like this more -- you're a lot bigger and easier to hit.
no subject
Well... you're right that she's easier to hit like this. [ a pause. ] But I don't think we mean it in the same way.
[ either way, he'll at least take a shot at the monster, hoping to force it on the defensive. despite its... rather grotesque form, it's actually surprisingly nimble and manages to evade most of his blows. ]
