![]() ViViD's usual worlds are unfortunately down for maintenance. While CERES' programmers work on getting it back up and running, all new entrees this round will be going through a different level than usual. Only a single world is accessible at the moment, a simple one entitled 'CERESLearn.' "What the $%@& is this?" you must be thinking. Well, it's simple! It's a study program, of course! CERES' advanced AI technology is here to make sure you learn and that you learn sexily. Whether or not you pay attention to the actual content is up to you, the player. Please enjoy it while it lasts. They're here to teach you a variety of subjects and also to make you feel vaguely uncomfortable all over. New arrivals and those logging into ViViD will first find themselves in a classroom with a new operator greeting them rather than Vidia.

Welcome to CEREALIA's latest intro post. For your convenience, we have compiled a post detailing everyone's usual arrival experience (which is not entirely applicable this round for reasons stated above^) and a FAQ that should explain everything in more detail. Please read them thoroughly before playing. Thank you! |

You sound like a cop or something...
[Except he looked much more weird than that, in his opinion. He side eyes Steve, and puts his hands in his pockets.]
But I can't do anything unless it does. How about you keep doing the distraction thing, and I'll take care of it?
[He's tapping the front of his shoe behind him, as if the idea of a monster bug coming that close to him doesn't bother him at all...]
no subject
[He side eyes Nice, not entirely sure what the kid has in mind, but he's not about to run away, he can tell that much.]
Any chance you'll clue me in on your plan?
[He's willing to play the distraction, but he'd like to know what Nice is going to do first.]
no subject
Don't have a plan. [Liar.] Just get him within...oh, five meters of me, okay? Make sure you stay in that range, too.
[That's Important to getting a little help.]
no subject
Steve may not like it, but there's a monster on the loose in school, now isn't exactly the time to be arguing. They need to act, and soon.
He nods, doing as Nice requests and quickly engages the monster. After some back and forth, he has the monster right where he wants him. But Nice better move fast, because Steve doesn't know how long it'll be before the monster is out of that five meter range again.]
no subject
With Nice standing on top of it.
It starts falling, and Nice yelps and jumps off of it and to the side before it could collapse on him, but he...didn't take the shield out.
You're welcome, Steve. It's probably got some brain matter on it now.]
no subject
How did you..? [It's not overly surprising, but it's still curious. He's seen enough people with abilities to at least know they're possible.
He's not going to wait for an answer, though, before he moves forward and removes the shield from it's resting place.]
1/2
If I told you, I'd have to kill you.
[THAT'S NOT EVEN REMOTELY TRUE...but he'll act like it was nothing at all, taking his headphones off and settling them back down around his neck.]
2/3
Just kidding!
no subject
It's called a Minimum. Pretty cool, huh?
[He thinks he's the coolest thing ever, ok]
no subject
Interesting. But he's not the first person he's met to act like that.]
It's something else, that's for sure. [Cool isn't the word he would use, being the old timer than he is, but it is pretty handy.]
So it allows you to move fast?
no subject
Pretty much, yeah. All I gotta do is snap.
[You're supposed to keep quiet about these sorts of things, man. And yet here he is -- but then again, Steve had already seen it in action anyway.]
