![]() ViViD's usual worlds are unfortunately down for maintenance. While CERES' programmers work on getting it back up and running, all new entrees this round will be going through a different level than usual. Only a single world is accessible at the moment, a simple one entitled 'CERESLearn.' "What the $%@& is this?" you must be thinking. Well, it's simple! It's a study program, of course! CERES' advanced AI technology is here to make sure you learn and that you learn sexily. Whether or not you pay attention to the actual content is up to you, the player. Please enjoy it while it lasts. They're here to teach you a variety of subjects and also to make you feel vaguely uncomfortable all over. New arrivals and those logging into ViViD will first find themselves in a classroom with a new operator greeting them rather than Vidia.

Welcome to CEREALIA's latest intro post. For your convenience, we have compiled a post detailing everyone's usual arrival experience (which is not entirely applicable this round for reasons stated above^) and a FAQ that should explain everything in more detail. Please read them thoroughly before playing. Thank you! |

Market surveys are usually good. When we would think about launching a new line, that's what we'd do, at least... [ He hums thoughtfully ] It wouldn't be expensive to hire some people to conduct them.
[ ...Because you know Ciel wouldn't do that himself. That involves talking to people and pretending to be personable. ]
no subject
What? Why not just ask ourselves? [?! The level of Ciel's inability to interact with other people without dying is amazing to him...] I wouldn't mind! It would be a really good opportunity to get to know other people a little, wouldn't it?
no subject
[ At least he's honest...?? ]
You're enough of a handful, so I don't need any more people making the false assumption that they might be my friend. [ wow ]
no subject
It's not false. [That's apparently the part he has the most beef with... DON'T DENY THEIR SHONEN FRIENDSHIP BOND.] Anyway, if you don't want to help, I can just do it on my own.
no subject
Er... No. Ours is fine, [ He is accepting their shonen friendship, just very shyly. ]
I mean other people. You're enough.
no subject
...Well! That's fine, then. [...] But you can't just have one friend, you know.
no subject
[ There's not even a "why not"... Ciel just says it very matter of factly, and it's even complete with a dismissive wave of his hand. ]
...Well, no, I suppose some of the people from that park would qualify, but they're not here.
no subject
You made friends there, so you can make some here, too! It isn't as hard as you first thought, right?
no subject
...I'd say the circumstances were a bit different. It'll be harder here.
[ Because even Ciel can realize that saying he was making friends more easily because he knew they were going to die is a bit much. ]
no subject
If you want, I could introduce you to some of my new friends. Oh! Or some of the people from my world! Gil is here, and so is Mr. Reim. Elliot, too; I think I mentioned him once. [No he just said "HAHA YOU REMIND ME OF SOMEONE AT HOME THAT YOU WOULDN'T GET ALONG WITH" but close enough.]
no subject
[ Which he says with a tone that's not exactly warm, but it's not cold either, so that's a Ciel Stamp of Approval. Good job, Reim. The rest, though, makes him frown a little more. ]
But I don't need more friends. You don't need to introduce me to anyone.
no subject
[Go be friends with Captain Pocket Protector, Ciel. It's destiny...]
no subject
[ Reim is accepted as a friend, but only as a ward against more...?? ]
Anyone you'd pick is bound to be weird.
no subject
What's that supposed to mean? And you can't just have two, either - go out and meet more people! You're going to turn into a cranky, grumpy old man permanently otherwise and then no amount of candy will be able to save you!
no subject
I'm not sure why that's such a bad thing. I'm already there in everything but age already.
[ Threatening him with being a grumpy old man doesn't work when he's totally fine with that... ]
no subject
Because it just is. Trust me! That group of people is definitely a group no sane person would want to be associated with!
no subject
[ It's still better than the friendship express ]
I'll meet people on my own time. Yours is ridiculous.
no subject
[Which he says with complete confidence, like he KNOWS THIS FOR A FACT. Mostly because, yeah, basically.]
no subject
And? I'd at least get my work done.
no subject
I hereby decree that you must leave the apartment with me at least once a day from this day on!
no subject
[ He even turns his nose in the air like the haughty brat he is. ]
no subject
[PREPARE YOURSELF, CIEL. Courtesy doesn't apply in times of war...]
The first counter-decree is that I'm not sharing my desserts.
no subject
You're serious about this? Why?
no subject
[Look he knows what growing up in social isolation can do to a person okay HE KNOWS THIS, CIEL. HE IS TRYING TO HELP.]
It doesn't even have to be much. I won't force you to talk to anyone or anything!
no subject
Fine. But if they're irritating, I won't waste my time with them.
