![]() ViViD's usual worlds are unfortunately down for maintenance. While CERES' programmers work on getting it back up and running, all new entrees this round will be going through a different level than usual. Only a single world is accessible at the moment, a simple one entitled 'CERESLearn.' "What the $%@& is this?" you must be thinking. Well, it's simple! It's a study program, of course! CERES' advanced AI technology is here to make sure you learn and that you learn sexily. Whether or not you pay attention to the actual content is up to you, the player. Please enjoy it while it lasts. They're here to teach you a variety of subjects and also to make you feel vaguely uncomfortable all over. New arrivals and those logging into ViViD will first find themselves in a classroom with a new operator greeting them rather than Vidia.

Welcome to CEREALIA's latest intro post. For your convenience, we have compiled a post detailing everyone's usual arrival experience (which is not entirely applicable this round for reasons stated above^) and a FAQ that should explain everything in more detail. Please read them thoroughly before playing. Thank you! |

After a moment's pause, he points towards a street they pass by.]
The market is this direction; you should see the sign. [why they can read it, he's not sure; he's pretty sure it's not Japanese, but.......]
In this direction, there is the majority of the residences.
no subject
Odd sign, that.
Everything really looks way too different from Oumi, he's worried he'll forget what place is where, but he can hope he'll manage somehow.
He nods. ]
So, both you and my descendant lives there, too, then?
[ It's so weird to use the word "descendant" like he already has one. And he has several, that's quite remarkable, really! ]
no subject
...That is correct. We currently live together.
[For safety, because it's easier, for tons of reasons. But he can at least understand the question for what it is, starting to walk in that direction.]
I will show you where. [So if Kagemitsu ever needs them for anything, he'll know where to find them. It seems only natural to do for Tenka's ancestor.]
no subject
and Nishiki, but he has not met her yet, now. Ah, he needs to find out where to live, too. ] Thank you.[ Because it really would be good to know, so he can find them easily. ] How, exactly, does someone acquire a place to live here? [ He's not sure it would work normally---besides, the Cloud Shrine has always been with him, so he has never had to worry about housing before. ]
no subject
[Well... "from home".... meaning "what he knows of as people from their version of Japan". There are the Shinsengumi as well, and people from future Japan, but...Kagemitsu won't understand the significance of either of those things.
So for now? Yeah, that's it.]
Any place may be claimed as a place to live. [Weird as it seems...] Payment will be required after three months, it seems.
no subject
[ Because he's really curious. What kind of people are his offspring? He's met Tenka, but there has to be so many people between their generations. ]
That sounds both remarkable and peculiar. Why would they not demand payment right away?
no subject
[With the whole...job....thing.]
...They do seem interested in keeping us supplied with the necessities, at least. [Possibly to keep them complacent??? He's suspicious.]
no subject
[ It just feels off. It doesn't feel like it's easy to trust them. ]
Are they trying to bribe us with it?
no subject
[He pauses for a moment, and then continues, expression carefully blank--]
They have attempted to bribe us before, due to trying to kill us upon our entry into the city. [By "us" he mostly means him and Tenka, though the others of their app round also count.]
no subject
They tried to do it when you arrived, too?
no subject
...It was in "repayment" for the fact that they tried to have me killed as a "criminal" for a crime I hadn't committed.
no subject
no subject
They attempted to have me killed. Tenka as well, though we were both able to fend them off. They later stated it was a mistake.
[Which he thinks is a load of bs, but it is what it is.]
no subject
What sort of excuse is that. That's inexcusable.
no subject
It is. It is only one of many crimes they have perpetuated, knowingly or otherwise.
I would advise caution with...most everything here.
no subject
Is there no way of contacting them to let them get an earful?
[ Because seriously. He doesn't want his family get hurt again. What happened in his time was enough. ]
no subject
You may contact Julius Vincere through this device. He appears to be the one in charge.
[Though it doesn't....do much....as far as Sousei can tell.]
no subject
He gives an affirmative nod. The name is weird, but he'll remember it. He might be unable to spell it, though. ]
Alright, I'll keep that in mind.
