![]() ViViD's usual worlds are unfortunately down for maintenance. While CERES' programmers work on getting it back up and running, all new entrees this round will be going through a different level than usual. Only a single world is accessible at the moment, a simple one entitled 'CERESLearn.' "What the $%@& is this?" you must be thinking. Well, it's simple! It's a study program, of course! CERES' advanced AI technology is here to make sure you learn and that you learn sexily. Whether or not you pay attention to the actual content is up to you, the player. Please enjoy it while it lasts. They're here to teach you a variety of subjects and also to make you feel vaguely uncomfortable all over. New arrivals and those logging into ViViD will first find themselves in a classroom with a new operator greeting them rather than Vidia.

Welcome to CEREALIA's latest intro post. For your convenience, we have compiled a post detailing everyone's usual arrival experience (which is not entirely applicable this round for reasons stated above^) and a FAQ that should explain everything in more detail. Please read them thoroughly before playing. Thank you! |

I don't need any glory or accolades. I've decided to defend my country, and I will.
[That is his dream, okay!!! He doesn't need anything else.]

he smiles wide, all fond and happy at sousei. ]
If I was your country, I'd be really proud of you right now.
[ you're like a SOLIDER. dedicated and patriotic and oh my god, he wishes you were his. ]

... It's a little nice to hear, something that he can admit even just to himself, to think that his country would be proud of him. Making his teacher proud had always been one of his aspirations-- to think, Japan could be too...
For a moment, he just blinks at America, admittedly startled, though his expression stays remarkably calm regardless. What...do you say to something like that?]
...Thank you. [You're not his country, no--but this is the first time Sousei has really sensed what America meant by him being a country.] Though that is also not what I work towards. [As he's sure america knows ANYWAY LESS AWKWARD TOPIC SHIFT]
If you have further questions about this place, you may contact me with them.

but still, it's nice to see something he understands here -- even if directed for another nation. he hopes very much that japan shows up one day because, well, it'd be nice. there's not enough people here with their own nations back home and he knows the idea of them helps their citizens a lot.
still, he might be... a very dense person but he can tell that sousei's feeling pretty awkward now so he's gonna cut him some slack. ]
I'll probably take you up on that offer, dude! Meanwhile, I am totes gonna get back to my burger here and ignore these super strange prizes. You should probs get back to your junk too, yeah?
[ he is giving you an out, sousei! take it! ]

Yes.
[...and....well, it's weird to think of just leaving a country without a word further, but America is not his country, and there sure are some weird things going on with the industrialization of Japan, and Sousei isn't one for big displays of respect, but...
He can at least acknowledge America for what he is.]
...It has been an honor. [An interesting one, anyway.
And then, more firmly, he turns on his heel to stride away. Bye...America...]
