[ Right after the dumb tour at CERES, Athena heads straight for the medical facility looking like a total hobo. Her hair is wet, and so is her dress, and she has no shoes on. And is that blood? Yeah, that's blood dripping from her ankles. It's painful to walk, but what can she do? Oh, and she also reeks. Like garbage. Have you ever met the personification of garbage? That's Athena.

Eventually, she manages to arrive at the medical facility's ER where she immediately gets tended to. They also make her take a shower, or ten. The robot doctors disinfect her legs to prevent any diseases that might come out of it, and has bandaged both her legs for now. So... Walking isn't exactly an option yet. But at least she's been given some ankle support. It's still going to hurt when she walks, but it'll lessen the pain.

She's still in the ER wondering how to go home... Ryuko is likely busy with Nonon. . . Maybe she can text Simon? He'll be like a prince saving her from trouble. So dreamy. But since her CereVice is busted, she has to wait six hours for it to be back up and running again. Fortunately, the tests she had to undergo to make sure she was healthy. Not to mention they also had to check her psychological state of being. All of this took quite some time. ]

At the medical facility ER. Can you pick me up, pleaaaaaaase?
Also please bring a jacket because my clothes are dirty :(
And maybe some shoes too?

[ Wha, What? He can play games, but she can't? Fine!!! She's capable enough to walk over to the flat right across hers, anyway. THIS AIN'T NO BIG THANG. ]

It's probably just the mighty steed's old age getting to him.

Says the brat hobbling along like an old lady with her purse.

[Despite that, he's not straying too far from her, in case she needs to grab onto him for support.]

H- How dare you not help an old lady cross the street, then?!

[ But whatever, she manages not to fall over or trip (thank the gods) and makes it back in front of Simon's door. She'll wait for him to open it before entering. It's not her place, after all. ]

You expect far too much from me.

[Who do you think he is, Bobby Fulbright? Gosh. He opens the door for her, and he'll at least help her get settled down again once she's in.]

As before, the spare room is yours to use as you see fit. Now I suggest you rest, before you well and truly exhaust yourself.

Okay. [ she nods obediently, though before she does go and rest, she just gives him a big and tight hug. ]

[As she hugs him, he reaches to stroke her hair, and kisses the top of her head. No matter how much he teases her, really is just glad she's safe.]

[ When she pulls away, she tip toes to kiss him on the cheek. ]

[ And with a silly high school girl-like giggle, she turns and starts waking, only to look back at him once she's by the door to the spare room. ]

[He inclines his head, stoic as usual... Though he might be flushed a little from where she kissed him.]

Sleep well. I'll be awake a while longer, if you need anything.

[Read: staying on guard outside her room in case anything happens, and waiting to hear back from Aura. His insomnia won't let him sleep as long as he has both those things to worry about.]
