[Semi Open] A little welcome surprise

What: Welcoming the "too brave and annoying" Rin back to this world.

[It has been a few days since Rin arrived to the city. Lancer has made a little promise to keep so he's already preparing for her arrival.

His way of welcoming are... a bit odd. Lancer flies through Rin's apartment and without reserve he goes inside and maybe catch Rin by surprise.]

Yo Little Lady Jr! I'm borrowing your for a while!

[With that, he lifts Rin up, who he knows very well might not remember him, and puts a blindfold on her eyes. He then gets out from her apartment and flies around the city. Much like an abduction.]

I'm going to take you for a walk a little!

[He soon arrives at the designated place where he gathers people who are close to Rin with the help of Archer, puts Rin down and takes her to the waterfall.]

Are you ready? I'm taking it off!

[With that, Lancer puts away the blindfold and a big confetti follows him up with a big "Welcome Back!" banner being spread through by Lancer and Archer. Kinda unexpected for them to work together. There's a little food to enjoy nearby because Lancer has been fishing for a while. Anybody close to Rin can enjoy the mingle here to refresh some of her memories!]

Mostly at Lancer's supplied food. Yes, Archer does not approve of anything supplied by a dog. A dog of war, of all things.

While he may spend time with Rin, he doesn't exactly go out of his way to be social except with people he personally knows.]

[Lancer knows well Archer seems displeased. He wonders what's the case though.]

It's poison insofar as your cooking goes. I'm sure you worked hard but...

[Was Rock invited? If not, he might happen to be there by coincidence. He's doing chin-ups on a nearby tree branch until he sees signs of the party, or is interrupted by anyone else!]

[Rei isn't entirely sure what's happened, or what the purpose of the party is, but Archer had requested that she come...and she liked the grey-haired spirit (or whatever he was) enough that she'd agreed.

So, there she is, looking at guests and offering a dip of her head and a smile to anyone who looks her way.]

Man, you really said it. I don't know what your problems are but I don't think now is the time to complain.

[Lancer cooking skills are basic, yeah so he can't insult him back.]

[Lancer spots him nearby. Maybe he's one of the people who happen to know Rin?]

Hey you the funny-looking boy! Are you here to welcome Rin back by any chance?

[So, direct. That's rude of you Lancer.]

That is correct, sir! [He flips to his feet eagerly, not seeming to notice any insults.]

Has she truly returned?!

I don't see when it's really ever a bad time to complain.

I don't see why you're always negative, either. You should like, smile once in a while.

Sure! She's playing over there with the others! So are you one of her acquaintances?

No! I am... [He raises a thumbs up and smiles brightly.] ...her friend!

[ Good, it means they both can sit around being grumpy. With her arms folded over her chest, she looks over his own and: ]

Wow, they painted your nails as well? [ She practically shouted that. ]

[ It's someone she remembers vividly and why wouldn't she now that most of her memories from home are wiped out? What fills her mind mostly are her memories of the Cerealia colony which includes all of her interactions.

So ignoring most of anyone else, she books it over towards him eagerly. ] Lee, it's you!

[ Good, it's a girl. She gravitates towards her quietly when the others are preoccupied with something else just in order to feel she's with someone who won't worship the ground now that she's back. ]

What a mess all of this is.

So which one of them dragged you along? [ And quickly after: ] Are you their date?

[ No doubt she spent most of the time kicking and screaming. What little she does remember comes from the recording she made and her memories of the colony itself which means after a while, she does settle down. Lancer's not working for them and he's doing this because..? ]

[ Was the banner necessary? ] Geez, you really went through all of this trouble.

Rin-san!! I... I'm so happy to see you! [He tears up as he runs towards her as well with a youthful cheer. He spreads his arms for a potential hug!]

[Rei arches a dark eyebrow at the phrasing of all of that. That's...not exactly what happened at all.]

Archer asked me to come. I don't know the other man. And gods no, I'm not anyone's date. [Adding with less heat:] I thought you were his girlfriend, anyway?

[ It's too late to dodge. She was so caught off guard that he could very well succeed in his attempt to hug her. Terrible. Absolutely terrible. ]

Yes, but why should he wait around for me when I might have not returned?

[ Wouldn't that have made for an awkward conversation back? Not that she thinks they're very compatible... hell, she's not even sure why Archer tolerates her half the time. ]

The other one is Lancer--I think? I don't really recall much about him other than fawning over him when he arrived.

This is... how much I've missed you!! [Whoops. He is now delivering one very mighty hug.]

Because he likes you, Rin-san? He's very loyal seeming.

[Rei doesn't really understand the dynamics between this whole Master/Servant thing, and could hardly be bothered to try and figure it out. It felt like they were Rin's Familiars or something, so until told directly otherwise, she hadn't intended to pry.]

Besides, I wouldn't date him even if he did want to. I have someone. [A wave, and her eyes track to Lancer.] So that's Lancer. Archer. And there was Saber. Do you collect weapons?

For the first time, I think I preferred being tortured by CERES!

[ It's a sweet gesture, but out here in public? Where everyone cna see? She thought they were friends!! ]

I do! [ Lifting up her skirt just enough to show off a military grade combat knife and... a gun? That's definitely a gun against the other thigh. ]

These are just the ones I carry with me, but if you're interested you should come by to see my gun collection sometime!

[ That probably wasn't what she was going for, but she's a little excited to talk about something other than her amnesia or the return to the colony. ]
