March intro log
Sans
[Yamato nods in agreement.]
Yeah, that's right. It's not always so... crazy around here, is it?
[He hopes not. But then, it's not a huge leap from some of the crazy things he went through in the Digital World, even if none of them were quite so sadistic as this.]
no subject
[Sans shrugs, gazing around their immediate area for any extra threats. It looks like they're safe for the moment, so why not bond a bit?]
I'm new too. All I've got so far is that we're in some sort of video game with levels and stuff.
no subject
[Not that it's anything new in terms of technology trying to kill him, so he shrugs it off. His worry is more for his brother and the rest.]
So CERES or whoever just brought you here too? You're not from the Digital World, are you?

Takeru
Like Dad, huh?
[Yamato goes quiet. It wasn't long ago that he was told that their father, along with the rest of their family and friends, was destroyed by Flamines. He'd thought Takeru had met the same fate, until finding Gabumon here made him reconsider. And now Takeru's talking so casually about how someone reminds him of their father...
He thought he'd learned to stop being so possessive of Takeru when he'd gotten past being jealous of Taichi. But this time, he feels a little stung for their father's sake instead, like he's already gone and been replaced.
As usual, Yamato doesn't say what he thinks, though, and offering a neutral response instead.]
Well... I guess I'll see soon enough.
no subject
Oh dear, he didn't make his brother mad did he? He wasn't sad again was he?]
...Oniichan, are you okay? You're not mad at me are you?
[Maybe he shouldn't have mentioned Han reminded him of his dad. But when all he could think about was how Yamato shouldn't feel like he was alone here like Takeru did? What was a 7 year old boy to do?]
no subject
[He can't fault Takeru for looking for someone to care for him when he had no one. That would be wholly unfair. And yet he can't help but feel upset about it... As they approach the water, that proves to be a convenient subject change.]
This must be it.
[Garurumon crouches down low onto his stomach, low enough that both Takeru and Yamato can easily climb off his back.]

Taichi
[As soon as Taichi indicates the direction, Yamato turns to look around.] Patamon... Let's hurry!
[He takes off at a run, with poor Gabumon barely having a chance to finish his conversation with Agumon before he has to chase after his partner. Yamato doesn't seem to have noticed there's ominous rustling and snapping of branches in the trees ahead, though -- or if he has, he's choosing to ignore it...]
no subject
Yamato, wait!
There's something up ahead!
no subject
Which is why we have to keep going! What if it heads towards Takeru?

Athena
[He flinches when she raises her voice at him. He might get into shouting matches with other kids a lot, but he's not used to adults shouting at him. He says nothing to the apology, but hangs his head and says quietly:]
...This place is like somewhere I've been before. That place wasn't just a video game, even though it seemed like one.
no subject
What are you talking about?
no subject
[Either way they're going to have to do something, though, because those NPCs aren't about to stop fighting...]

Vietnam
So to lose, I just need to...
[Yamato seems to be seriously considering this option as a shortcut out of the game, when Gabumon latches onto him, fretting.] What are you saying, Yamato?! Let's just find a way to log out. You don't have to do anything dangerous!
no subject
[She can understand Gabumon being worried. It is the fastest way to go, but could be dangerous. Not that it has a lasting effect on him.]
We can always find a way to log out first, before choosing that option.
no subject
Okay, we'll log out instead. Is there or a portal or something we can use?
[That's how the Digital World worked, maybe leaving ViViD is similar?]

Obi-Wan
[Knowing this is someone who lives with Takeru is enough for Yamato to trust him. So he does as he says, moving towards the wall. Some of the crowd surge towards them as soon as they begin to move, though, blocking Gabumon from following, and with weapons raised--]
Gabumon! [Yamato tries to push past Obi-Wan.] We need to go back!

no subject
[Aside from being a little scuffed up from being jostled by the crowds, the Digimon isn't hurt. Yamato doesn't have time to be relieved, though. He nods to Obi-Wan and keeps moving towards the doors.]
Rise
We're fine!
[Yamato answers Rise, breathing hard from the run and casting around the next room they find themselves in for any ideas. If they keep going, the mob will get through the doors in no time...]
We need to slow them down. Gabumon, help me move this--!
[He runs over to a nearby table in the hall, and with Gabumon's help, quickly drags it over to block the doors. It won't hold them forever, but it's big and heavy enough that it will delay them for a good minute or two while they try to barge through.]
no subject
I think I might have an idea. It's a crazy idea, and we might need to immediately jump into another fight but it could buy us some time.

Viridi
[Garurumon takes advantage of the opening to dive into the crowd, the combination of claws and fangs along with his razor-sharp fur forcing the NPCs to scatter even further. He raises his head and glances back at the bickering pair.]
Yamato!
[Yamato knows without being told that his Digimon is imploring him to stay close. So he grabs Viridi's hand and tries to pull her along to where Garurumon is fighting. Viridi might be annoying to him, but that doesn't mean Yamato wants her to get hurt.]
no subject
Wha -- I don't want to hug him that much!
[why are they walking towards the people killing each other]
Hold on, hold on. Mahva!
[With a snap of her fingers, something comes burrowing out of the ground and hovers in the air beside them.]
Shield, please.
[And a shield is exactly what she gets as a shimmering field appears around them.]

Zero
[Yamato watches, transfixed, as the vines take down their enemy. It even reminds him a little of Palmon's Poison Ivy attack. There's no time to dwell on it, though, because they're already being urged on by Zero.
He nods and dashes after him, glancing over his shoulder once -- just in time to duck and avoid a well aimed spear.]
Watch out! [He warns Zero, just in case any projectiles are thrown his way.]
