Hey, everyone! Wow, I'm really recording, huh...?

[Leia's face appears on the camera. She might look a little bit nervous, because wow--you can't take back something you say live on video as easily as you can on paper, but don't be fooled. She's determined, and since signing up for a blinde date, she's far more into this Valentine's thing than she ever expected.]

So I know there's a lot going on right now, with everyone recovering and exchanging information. The last thing I want to do is interrupt all that, but it's a new month, and I think Mabel's got the right idea. We need cheer in our lives again, and we need a little romance!

I'm going to be helping her out by selling these adorable heart candies I found. [She holds up one between her fingers before the camera pans to show a small bowl of various colors.] They're color-coded with meanings, so you can tell your friends and loved ones exactly how you feel--and you can even make up your own meanings if you want to.

I'll have them available starting today all the way up until the big day, so be sure to stop by the Game Center and see me! The name's Leia.

[WIPES SWEAT drinks juice really fast. That was a lot of talking she just did. Hopefully she made sense.]

b.) but what if you're color-blind (action)

[Later on, just like she said, Leia can be found behind a booth near the gaming center. She's set up with little jars of the aforementioned heart candies, as well as small fancy-looking pouch bags coming in white, pink, and red. There are also two neat piles of tags with string attached so they can be tied to the pouches: with one side having the standard To: and From: labels, and the other containing a legend of various colors corresponding to the hearts.

In one pile, the meanings are spelled out; and on the other, they're blank, in case anyone wants to write their own, as she promised.

At the end of the table also, there's a copy of the latest issue of the Cerealia Times for anyone to pick up and read, as well as fliers for Mabel's blind dates. She hopes you've signed up! She isn't shy about inviting people over, either, so if you're passing by, even without having seen her video, you might hear her calling out to you.]

Hi! Need some special candies for your special someone? Maybe a friend?

[She'll give the explanation as many times as she needs to, and talk about all of the different meanings if that's what your character wants! Anyone is welcome to try a couple pieces from the free sample bowl as well, to see how they taste (spoilers: sweet as hell).]

You can expect the booth to be set up for at least a couple hours almost every day, likely after her work shift (so if you want cat costume shenanigans, just say the word).

[ She's probably gotten this reaction a lot--and this applies to both the candy, and whenever she talks about home. She laughs a bit lightly as she answers: ]

Rieze Maxia, of course.

I've heard a lot about Earth though, so it's okay! Don't be scared.

[ He placed his hands on his hips and tilted his head in thought. Jaco had a deep and vast knowledge of his galaxy, and no matter how deeply he dug into his own memory he couldn't recall any sort of 'Rieze Maxia'.

This didn't add up, but it was an investigation for another time. He grabbed one of the fancy looking pouches. ]

Oh! I'm not scared. It would be terrible for Earth's corruption to spread out into space, but maybe your planet is nicer. I will take some blues and... are those purple? The top one on the legend!

[ Thinking back, he didn't seem scared at all. At his request, she'll grab a small jar and start filling it the way he wants--only taking a peek or two at the legend when it's mentioned. Pretty soon she'll have it memorized.

One of these days, too, she'll have to start taking notes about this Earth place. The differences in everyone's perception of it seems to be pretty significant! ]

Are you sure you don't want some of the others? You might want a nice variety.

[ To be fair. Without eyebrows or really any distinguishing facial features, it was hard to tell how Jaco felt from his expression. He smiled as he considered her words. Hell, if he was going to do a nice deed he may as well go all the way with it right? ]

Then maybe some of the lighter blue ones! I do respect my allies. And maybe some of the hero ones. Lets see...

[ Hugs? No. Kisses? No. Jaco pulled his lips into a tight line. ]

Human affection is so outrageous! There's no one here that I want to be that close to. Well not yet anyway.

[ Leia laughs. Outrageous is an excellent word to describe it, but... where would we be without affection, without passion? He'd learn... probably. ]

I've gotta admit, those were the more embarrassing ones to write. But if it helps someone, even just one person express their feelings, then it'll be worth it.

[ She thinks the respect and hero ones are perfectly valid to have though! Definitely encouraging him to take some. ]

[ Nuts to that! Who needed affection when you had a sick spaceship and a thirst for space justice? Jaco nodded along, silently agreeing with Leia. She was stronger than him to a degree, at least when it came to writing down embarrassing cutesy things. ]

That is admirable! I was just telling my friend that this colony could use some positivity. We can't lose track of our goals of getting our universes back, but strong morale is important!

[ In reality: Jaco had felt useless over not being able to kill criminals without getting arrested by security and needed some way to feel like he was contributing. But no one needed to know that. ]

[ She beams! If it's positivity he wants, she's got plenty of it. She thinks it's especially important in light of what happened on the tours. ]

Thank you! It's like you totally understand me.

[ She grins. ]

What's your name, anyway?

[ Was this what speaking to nice people was like? Jaco's been so used to rough customers on Earth like Tights, Omori and Bulma, that the number of polite people in Cerealia never failed to impress him. Maybe he wouldn't eradicate the humans after all. ]

Oh! My name-

[ He was going to strike his hand out in a pose, but stopped himself just short of the candy table. After taking a few safe steps back, he sprang into a heroic pose. ]

I am the super elite peacekeeper of the galaxy!

[ Jaco stood straight again only to turn and bend into another pose. ]

Galactic Patroller Jaco!

[ She watches with a tilt of her head when he suddenly steps back. What is he doing? --But it quickly becomes obvious, and she even laughs a bit! Because that's just adorable. ]

Jaco! It's nice to meet you.

I'm Leia Rolando, super elite journalist reporter of all Cerealia!

[ SHE PUMPS HER FISTS. Which is far less heroic, but hey, she's gotta start somewhere. ]

[ Finally someone with as much zest and gusto as Jaco. The lack of heroism in that fist pump didn't even register to the alien. The point was she tried, and that earned her some points.

Jaco put his hand on his hip and gave a thumbs up. ]

It's very good to meet you, Leia! You're a journalist too? I know one of those here! She's...

[ He wiggled his hand. Not in a cruel way! His lip curled into a slightly confused smile. ]

She likes her cardboard box.

[ Her hands fall down to her sides again, her expression melting into an endearing smile. She of course knows exactly who he's talking about, without thinking. ]

That's Myriam. I don't think anyone's ever seen what she really looks like.

[ WHICH IS A SHAME because she cute. ]

Well she's stopped posting my saiyan libel in the papers. I think my friend Bulma may have intimidated her into forgetting about the saiyan menace that hasn't done anything yet.

[ Jaco folded his arms in a huff but after a moment of thinking seemed to relax. ]

At least she listened to me in the first place. Humans on this colony are not as bad as they are on Earth, I have seen. Well mostly.

[ Myriam's lies really upset people. As much as she disapproved and had her doubts though, Leia stuck to it...

She wonders if things will change for the better now, with the gossip column gone. ]

We'll take that as a compliment.

[ Leia laughs, speaking on behalf of... everyone... ]

So you're a "saiyan"?

Eugh no! I hate them! Miss Scuttlebutt has stopped posting my stories against the saiyan menace!

[ Oh Leia, did you think it was poor Jaco who was the target of slander? Nope! It was this sour little alien that was trying to talk smack about saiyans. ]

I think it's because a saiyan's... wife told her to stop. It is complicated. Different people have different opinions on it.

[ He looked down at his little jars of candy. ]

I am an alien! One of the good guys.

[ Ah. Ah. Yes, she seems to have misunderstood, and rightfully looks surprised. She didn't expect him to be so vindictive! Never judge a book by its cover though, and all that. ]

Ohhh! Well, I'm one of the good guys, too.

A lot of people were complaining about the paper at first... and they probably still are, so I wouldn't take it personally.

[ Because Jaco's intentions were pure and he was probably just trying to warn them--and certainly not do anything like spread lies, right... ]

[ Jaco has never once spread a lie! He's just coated the truth in layers and layers of aggression and vitriol. The patroller gave a thumbs up at her 'good guys' bit and shrugged when she mentioned people's complaints. ]

I find that it is a good read when I can get it. It mentioned me twice, so it must be only the highest of qualities! Human romance confuses me though, so I cannot really give a good opinion on the gossip parts.

[ Scratching at her head sheepishly, she queitly agrees. ]

Yeah, a lot of other people couldn't either...

[ Ha. ANYWAY... ]

[ He tugged his cerevice out of his belt's utility pocket and fiddled with it as he spoke. ]

[ Leia waves a hand dismissively, but then... actually starts to wave her hand for real when she realizes he's leaving. Other customers are buzzing about anyway, so perhaps it was a natural thing to happen. ]

[ Hurriedly she turns her attention back to her table. ]
