This little frozen yogurt shop is a bit chilly, but it's sheer cuteness has to make up for that. You're looking at pastel colors everywhere from the wall color to the puzzle-piece shaped tables to the marshmallow chairs to sit on. The far wall is lined with yogurt dispensers in an impressive selection of flavors, most with vegan alternatives, and on your way to check out is a buffet bar filled with toppings. Fresh fruit and nuts, syrups, sprinkles, you name it. If it belongs on or in desserts, it's there. So grab a bowl and make some kind of masterpiece. (Just remember you're being charged by weight here!)

Your badges are colored deep pink and display "Cain" and "Gundam" in white letters.

[Frozen yogurt wasn't something he'd ever really had before, so going on a blind date to a place that served nothing but just honestly seemed like a bad idea. He's not even sure how this happened, who signed him up, or anything like that, but here he is anyway. When you're told that you're being expected, that sort of makes you feel bad if you don't at least show up.

Sorry to his date, he's not exactly dressed for the occasion. His normal clothes should be just fine for something like this right? Yeah. Gaudy pink badge in place, he's waiting outside the shop about five minutes early.]

[Cain Hargreaves does not turn down a challenge, however mortifying the challenge appears to be on description. He particularly does not turn down a challenge related to romance--he's got a reputation to rebuild.

So he dresses to the nines, in a scarlet poet shirt and a pair of skin-tight leather trousers tucked into calf-high boots with a three-inch sole. His hair is artfully mussed, and his eyes are lined with dark bronze powder that brings out the green in his eyes. It's rather genius, really, easily applied and inexpensive. He'll need to play around a bit to do more complex looks, but there's something exciting in the technological advancement that is an eyeshadow palette, even if the field of cosmetics isn't exactly world-changing stuff.

He's pretty. Any woman who doesn't swoon at the sight of him isn't looking closely enough, even a woman named--what was it again?--Gundam, apparently. What an odd name it is; he'll have to inquire as to the origin. Women love talking about themselves, don't they? He scans through the crowd, looking for his blind date, and doesn't find any women by themselves. Perhaps she's running late.

But then his eyes light on the name tag, forming letters he recognizes, affixed to what is decidedly not a woman's breast.

Oh.

Partly because he still can't back down from a challenge, and partly because it would make him the world's biggest hypocrite if he were to take offense, he makes his way over to the young man and raises a hand in greeting.]

In the interest of full disclosure, I've never been on the pursuing end of a same-sex liaison, nor have any of my gentlemen admirers ever followed through. [He smiles at his date, who could really use a bit of assistance on the fashion end of things; his clothing is casual and messy and it doesn't look deliberate. Oh, well. Perhaps he can be will be a positive influence.] You can call me Cain.

[Gundam hadn't even considered the possibility that he could be paired with another guy for this. Dates were usually between a man and a woman, right? Especially blind dates. So he's caught a little off guard by this, not quite sure what to make of his partner.

At all. What is this man wearing? He isn't sure if he approves or is slightly off-put by this ensemble. Either way though, he offers the other man a polite bow of his head in greeting.]

It would be fair, then, to inform you I've never entertained myself with these mortal courtship rituals. Whether or not you've involved yourself with men has little bearing on the situation in this respect, I would think.

[That's probably why he isn't dressed up at all.]

I am Tanaka Gundam, Supreme Overlord of Ice. Under these circumstances, however, you may call me what you wish, Cain.

[cantarella]

[Formality, then? Well, Cain is certainly no stranger to it. He inclines his head in return.]

If we're exchanging titles, then, mine is Lord Cain C. Hargreaves, Earl of Cornwall, but given the casual setting, you may continue with my Christian name. [His lips twitch into a smirk.] Shall I do the same with you, then?

[hamham]

Ah, another man of power. [Refreshing, even if "Earl" isn't as high of a status as his own.]

Tanaka is acceptable in this case, yes. There is no need for formalities.

[And then he gestures to the destination for their date.]

I am not sure it would even be fitting, considering where we are expected to spend our time.

[cantarella]

I was, until I came here. I imagine it's similar for you, although for an earl, a change of landscape means a good deal more than for an overlord of an element. They do have ice here, do they not?

[He glances over to the yogurt bar.] They must, or they wouldn't be able to do whatever this is. [He turns back to the man--Tanaka--and flashes him a grin.] Shall we, then?

[hamham]

It would depend upon your view of the change, but at its core you are correct. [It's not like he can't continue to be an overlord of ice just because he's somewhere new. Well, assuming wherever this new place is has ice but yes, obviously this city does. The comparison between the frozen treat and the element causes him to snort, but it's almost out of amusement.

The invitation though has him moving forward, opening the door for the other man.]

If we are to fulfill this obligation handed to us by those operating under the will of the demon Rosier, we must.

[cantarella]

[So he's the woman, is he? He smiles demurely to fit the part, although he doesn't attempt to hide his amusement as he walks into the parlor ahead of the other gentleman.]

The demon Rosier? That sounds like it has quite a story behind it. [Demons, the occult, black magic--if he said he wasn't fascinated, he'd be lying. Thus far, this man feels familiar to him, not in the sense that they've met before, but that they're from a similar environment. It's almost nice. If things continue this way, the date might be a success after all.]
