[Well, he wasn't not alone. Labrador has never been on a date before either because a) he died when basically still a child (then there was the whole being sort of reborn/reanimated again by the god inside him) and b) bishops aren't supposed to date.

Labrador was rather surprised when he'd found out that someone had apparently signed him up for a blind date. He soon realized who must have done it though, what with Butch suddenly asking him out old he was out of the blue the other day... He'll have to deal with Butch later. Anyway, it was too late to turn this down now and it wouldn't be fair to the other person if he didn't show up...

Labrador quickly headed towards the arcade dressed in tailored black trousers paired with a matching ruffled black shirt, and his favourite knee length lace up black boots. (He just really likes dressing in black...) All of which showed off his slim figure. His short wavy hair was carelessly yet perfectly tousled as usual. Lab had pinned the badge to his shirt over his heart along with one of his silver roses.

He started scanning the crowd for the other person as soon as he got to the arcade...]

[ Just like Lab, his own badge was pinned over his heart, but to his sweater instead. He didn't own anything fancy or tailored, so he hoped his date would find him presentable enough. And that it wasn't a girl, since the one setting it up never asked anything about things like that...

He fiddled with his badge, looking for someone with one of a similar colour. And... was that it? He looked up to see who it was pinned to.

That. Wasn't that someone he knew? His hand dropped to his side, and he bit his lip. Well, not he didn't exactly feel any less guilty. ]

H-hi.

[floralprophecy]

[Labrador was sort of thinking that his date would probably be a girl since that would be the default setup, wouldn't it? Not that he minded whether his date was male or female, it just wasn't something he thought about.

He soon spotted the person with a badge that matched his and hurried over. He smiled brightly when he saw it was someone he knew. Then he laughed.]

Hello, Rasu! This certainly is a nice coincidence! I hope you aren't disappointed though.

[creepface]

[ Rasu fiddled with a mesh on his sweater, cheeks tinting a little toward the red side. ]

N-no, of course not.

[ Now... what were they supposed to do? Was he supposed to give him the flowers and chocolate now? It would be weird for him not too, right?

So with tense shoulders he all but shoved them into Labrador's chest. ]

I-it's- it's vegan.

[floralprophecy]

[He just smiles~] I'm glad to hear that. That's really sweet of you, Rasu.

Oh? [He's pleasantly surprised by the gifts and readily accepts them.] Ah, thank you, Rasu! You really didn't need to give me anything since I didn't have time to get you anything in return... [So have a sweet smile instead.] These flowers are really beautiful! Did you make these chocolates?

[creepface]

[ He wanted to point out that it really wasn't sweet at all. With his reasons for signing up he was sure he wouldn't find him as sweet if he told him.

He nodded nervously, several rapid times. He stopped when his neck started feeling too tense. ]

Y-yes, they, they didn't. Have vegan chocolate s-so I... made some. I don't know if. It's good though.

[floralprophecy]

[Lab laughs softly. Really, there's no need to be so nervous around him, he won't hurt you!] I'm sure they'll taste great like your cooking! I should give you something in return for all your gifts... Hmm... Ah!

[He removes the silver rose from his pin and fixes it onto Rasu's.] Here you go! This silver rose will protect you and keep you safe, my dear friend. I bred it myself and infused a little charm of protection into it. [But it'll only be able to protect him from harm once then it'll wilt.]

[creepface]

[ He tries to push the guilt back so that he can enjoy this date. He came here set on actually trying to get anywhere with this date, bad reasons or not. He smiles, though it's still a bit nervous. In fact, he blushes at the gift. ] Th-Thank you.

[floralprophecy]

[And Labrador just takes his nervousness as him being a shy person.]

You're welcome. Now, shall we have a look around? I've never been in a arcade before! We don't have places like this back home.

[creepface]

[ He's that too, but right now his shyness is being beaten up by his guilt. ]

Of, of course. W-we have some in. Sheol, but I've never b-been.

[floralprophecy]

I see. Why haven't you been to one? [And he starts walking inside the arcade, rather fascinated by all the bright lights and sounds.]

[creepface]

They're, um. Scary.

[ He follows, following close behind him. He kind of wants to grab at Lab's sleeve, but he doesn't. Arcades seem scary, so many things and lights and noise and people. ]

[floralprophecy]

... scary?

[He looks back at Rasu and notices that he really does looks rather afraid and nervous. Lab stops walking and looks up at him with concern.]

Rasu, do you have a problem with crowds? Do they make you nervous? We could go somewhere quieter if you'd like, I don't mind. [He'll just come back another time to explore the arcade.]

[creepface]

No, um, sorry, I'm just. Nervous. Always, I mean.

[ He'll be good, he's just scared of nearly everything. ]

[floralprophecy]

I see...

[He thinks for a moment then holds out a hand to him with a warm smile.] Take my hand then. I'll keep you safe, Rasu.

[creepface]

[ If that doesn't make him blush, nothing will. Meaning; he's blushing. As long as he's okay with Rasu's fingers being hidden in his sleeve because he doesn't like his fingers. They're covered in scars and ugly, in his opinion. ] T-thank you.

[floralprophecy]

[He doesn't say anything about the blushing or the hidden fingers. There's no need to make Rasu more nervous after all.]

You're welcome. [And hopefully Rasu doesn't mind his icy fingers because he doesn't have body heat...] Now, what should we try first?

[creepface]

[ That's much appreciated, honestly. Rasu shuffles after him, not minding the coldness of his fingers. He did starve/freeze to death once upon a time, so it's not really the coldest he's ever felt. ] I d- I don't. Know. N-non virtual. Things?

[floralprophecy]

[Lab froze to death too, actually!]

That sounds good! Hmm... [He looks around and points at a claw machine filled with cute animal plushies.] What about that? That looks interesting~!

[creepface]

[ One day they'll have to talk about death things.

He nods slowly. ] O-okay.

[floralprophecy]

[And compare notes on how they died...

Labrador nods and goes over to the machine for a closer look to figure out how it works.]

I think I'll give this a try, it seems easy enough! [He chuckles.] I'll need my hand back though, Rasu. Here. [He holds out a corner of his shirt.] You can hold on to this for the time being.

[creepface]

[ What a happy party that would be.

He moves his hand out of Labrador's, and takes an unsure hold of his shirt. ] I won't. Be in the way if I- I hold onto. It?

[floralprophecy]

Mn! [He smiles] I'll be fine. My shirttail is pretty long.

Now, which animal would you like?

[creepface]

[ Blushes again. ] M-m-me? It's okay, you. Should keep. Keep what you. Catch.

[floralprophecy]

Mn! You. [gives him a little wink] But we're on a 'date', and that's what people do~
