[Everything was going fine for Ruby at first. Slowly but surely, though, things started to go downhill. Which is why she's bolting right up to you, eyes wide and expression distressed, and--]

Have you seen a red hood and cloak? It's really important to me, and I don't know how I lost it, but suddenly it was just gone.

[She's wearing it.

Right now, it's around her neck, there's no mistaking it.

But she doesn't seem like she's joking.....]

b - entertainment district

[As the days drag on, things just get even worse...... which is why Ruby's just minding her own business, trotting on forward, when she trips over a red and black motorcycle that she didn't even see in the street.

She tumbles into the street face first (ow), and then one of the helpful NPC androids tries to drag her out of the street, but that happens to be wearing a red uniform, and she stares in absolutely horror at it.]

Floating robot head--ack!

[Trying to stagger away from it leads to her crashing into a hot dog stand with a--you guessed it--red stand and sign.

Wow what a bad day.]

[ .... ruby's lucky she seems like a young, unassuming girl, because masamune could probably be a whole lot worse about this.

as it stands right now, there's just one eye's gaze: to ruby, to the cape, to ruby. ]

if this is "people can't see things that are right in front of them" again he's going to. well. not do much.]

[Naoki's wincing as he watches from a distance, watching poor Ruby go crashing into that hot dog stand... Okay. He moves to hurry closer to her (luckily not a bit of red on him).]

Ruby, here, gimme your hand.

[He'll help her up. Poor kid. Of course, he might startle the second he touches her to find her cold but you know.]

[At least she can see Naoki, that helps... she takes that hand with relief, though she pauses as soon as he's pulled her up.]

... Hey, Naoki, were you holding onto a handful of ice cubes before you helped me up?

[why would he do that]

My hand'd be wet if I did that.

[But Naoki takes a moment to glance down at his hand.

When she's up, he pulls his hand from hers and curls his fingers to press against his own palm. Everything's cold right now. He can't tell what's actually cold or not.]

...Are you cold or anything right now? [His voice is oddly quiet, reserved, but this is closer to his actual feelings than he normally lets show. It's Ruby, it should be fine.]

Woah! [He moves out of the way of the umbrella as Ruby goes crashing into the hot dog cart, barely managing not to get hit by it. He's been having some trouble with his sight as well lately, though not nearly as much as this girl seems to be having.] You okay?

[Luckily, he's not really big on color so she shouldn't have a problem with seeing him.]

[Thank god, here's someone who actually looks normal and not like a floating head.... such things can't be taken for granted, she's finding out now.

She sits up slowly, rubbing her head, and squints up at him.]

Ugh... yeah, I'm okay. Thanks for checking up on me!

[A beat.]

And thanks for not wearing red! Which...sounds weird to say, because it's my favorite color, but...

[He glances over at the hot dog cart, finally taking in the color of it and putting two and two together.]

Nah, it doesn't sound weird, I get it. You can't see red things right now, right?

Says the girl that is pretty much entirely invisible at the moment.

[Archer is pretty sure he can't see things that are black. Fortunately, he's a bit quicker on the uptake than some people.

But considering Archer is almost always engulfed by his red cloak, Ruby might be in bad shape here.]

[At the very least, she doesn't crash into said stand alone. Just his luck to be having lunch when a little girl crashes into him and the cart. At least she lands on someone relatively soft right?]

[ weiss spares exactly one moment to glance up from her very important work of gathering up dirt from into a nearby bucket to glance up ruby, click her tongue, and snap: ]

Honestly, Ruby, I don't have time for this prank right now.

[She's distressed, okay!!!!]

[Edgeworth blinks, rather taken aback by this sudden appearance of one (1) Ruby Rose. That's right, he hasn't spoken to her since she popped back into Cerealia...

But why is she asking for a red hood and cloak...when she is already wearing those precise items on her personage? He stares at her.]

Er...are they different from the ones you're currently wearing?

[???? She purses her lips at that, propping her hands on her hips.]

I'm not wearing anything right now, that's the problem! I swear I was wearing it this morning, but now....

[This is very distressing, okay....]

Ruby-san?! [Rock Lee rushes towards her side as he sees her crash into the hot dog stand.]

Please, let me help you!! [He extends a helping hand to help her up. ...Except that his hand will choose the moment she grabs it to turn intangible.]

[His hand goes right through hers, even as she lifts a hand as well to let him help her.

She pauses.

Uh........]

That was weird. [A shiver; it gave her the chills.] That was really, really weird. Have you always been part-ghost?

[...Shepard's not really sure what to think when she comes across Ruby, to be honest. She looks kind of confused as she comes across her, especially since she looks so distressed.]

[A beat, as she glances over her shoulder, but.... ... ... nope, no cloak.]

I don't really know how to answer that question right now--er, are you sure about the cloak thing, because I still don't know where it went.
