[ It starts with not finding his hair brush when he’s getting ready to go to work. Mother had helped him sort his hair out many times when he had just come to Sheol, and it was something that made him think of her once in a while. He couldn’t for the life of him find it. And then he stumbled right over it, falling over and crashing into the floor with a yelp. ]

Open - around the hospital, 2/11
[ He’s sure the hospital was here just the other day. But now, he can’t see it at all. There’s just a big empty space, as if nothing was ever there. He stares at the spot in confusion, walking over.

And crashing right into the wall, because the building wasn’t gone, it was just invisible.

And yes, he just squeaked and it sounded like ‘gyo’. ]

Open - park, 2/12
[ This is really stressing Rasu out. Without being able to do anything medical, without seeing any of the tools he uses for work, he’s feeling pretty useless. And right now he’s sitting curled up and still managing to take up space because he’s a long wirey noodle with hair you probably just stepped on. Sitting right in the middle of the park trying to calm down and whispering to himself that he’s not going crazy, but that he probably is going crazy. ]

Open - everywhere, 2/13
[ Now, it’s been a few days, and this is turning out to be an even bigger problem the more time passed.

He couldn’t see Hokuto. Right now, it’s more of a “can’t find him”, because he hasn’t realized that that’s what’s going on. Earlier days he could still see people! He can’t see Labrador either, nor anyone who works at the hospital.

Sorry if he walks right into you or any objects that has anything to do with hospitals or people being nice to him. Or people with white hair. Or old people.

She was the first person who was nice to him and cared for him like a parent would okay, and it’s been ages since he last saw her. Don’t blame him. ]

[ Hokuto had been busy playing a psp game and keeping the robot away from the bathroom when there was a sudden loud noise. He paused the game and dropped it into the couch, then went to the bathroom to see what had happened. ]

Rasu-san, what are you doing in there?

[creepface]

[ He's still on the floor when Hokuto comes in, since the door is unlocked. ]

If-fell over. S-something.

[smokingspirit]

[ Hokuto reaches down and pulls Rasu back onto his feet. Then he bends down again, and picks up the hairbrush. ]

You mean this?

[creepface]

[ He blinks in confusion, his bedhead still very much intact. Is he... teasing him? ]

W-what?

[smokingspirit]

[ It's Hokuto's turn to blink in confusion, because sure, he might tease people sometimes, but he's definitely not doing so right now. ]

….your hairbrush?

[creepface]

[ The confused look on his face remains as his eyes wobble between Hokuto's face and his hand. He doesn't look like he's teasing him right now... ]

But... Your hand is. Is empty?

[smokingspirit]

Huh?

[ What the hell? ]

No it's not.

[creepface]

I c-c-can't... see any...thing...

[smokingspirit]

[ He walks over to Rasu, takes his hand, and puts the brush in it. ]

It's definitely still here, though.

Excuse me, sir, but...do you need help? [asks the tiny fox sitting on the strange masked man's shoulder.

He might be having weird noise issues right now (the person, not the fox), but sound isn't necessary when someone's sitting there looking...panicked? Panicked sounds probably right.]

[creepface]

[ Rasu jumps when someone speaks to him, and he doesn't think for a second that a fox talking is weird. He's briefly confusing this for the afterlife, where he's spent several decades with talking animals and plants. ]

W-w-what?

[yaayaa]

You don't seem to be in very good spirits...

[Naki moves closer, curious, one hand unconsciously forming into a fox shape because he does that sometimes.]

Are you alright?

[creepface]

[ Don't mind him, but he's looking at the fox when he replies. ] I'm f-f-fine. [ Not really though, he looks like he's going to cry soon. ]

[yaayaa]

[The fox or the fox hand?...Either way, it works. Naki tilts his head at that answer though, partly because he didn't quite catch it - the music ringing in his hears just happens to have drowned it out. But the fox heard just fine! And this guy does not look...fine.]

Are you sure? You seem rather pained...

[creepface]

[ The actual fox. ] I j- I just always. Almost l-look like. Th-this. [ A lie too, but his face is always kind of creepy, that's close enough. ]

[yaayaa]

[He always looks like he's about to cry? That doesn't sound very good...the fox isn't moving from his spot on Naki's shoulder, though they noticed which one he's staring at.]

Are you sure you don't need help of any sort? Nakigitsune is willing to assist, where he can.

[creepface]

[ Well, he's going to look at the one who's talking, isn't that what anyone would do? Um... in an attempt to distract from the subject; ] Are- Are you. Dead?

[Labrador was in a park trying to find out what has happened to all the flowers when he spots Rasu looking really troubled...]

Rasu..? What's wrong? What's happened? Are you alright?

[creepface]

[ At least Rasu isn't crying when he finds him. He looks up, eyes even wider than they are a lot of the time. ]

I'm- It's- I'm alright.

[It's pretty clear that he's not. ]

[Lab moves to sit down beside him.]

... you don't look too well though. Is there anything I can help you with? You can tell me. I'll try my best to help.

[creepface]

I can't, I can't. I can't see. Things.

[ There, he told him. And there's a lot of things he can't see. ]

You as well? What sort of things can't you see?

[creepface]

M-my hairbrush and- first aid ki-kit or th-the hospital. I'm u-useless when I c-can't w-work.

[floralprophecy]

Well, I can't work as well now, Rasu. I can't see any plants or flowers at all. And I'm sure you're not useless!

[creepface]

I d-don't know how. To d-do anything... else. I c-can't even br-brush my own h-hair... [ And he has a lot of hair. Kind of comes with having knee-length hair. At least Hokuto has helped him some with this, but that certainly doesn't help his crush on the man. ]
