Shopping District
[So. Things are still super weird. Everything about this colony and everything he’s learned over the last couple of days has been very strange to him, not to mention stressful.
Initially when he woke up a few days later shivering he had assumed maybe he was sick. Not that that had mattered. He burrowed further in his blankets and that was that…except that it wasn’t. Everything felt cold, even Baymax activating his internal heater did nothing for him.
So he left. He took off, taking his robot on the train with him and headed for the shopping district. Over the course of the day he’s wandering with Baymax, occasionally burying himself further and further into piles of clothing. Sorry if he startles you by being there.
On the other hand, taking Baymax anywhere is always a hassle. When Hiro’s not trying to warm up, he’s chasing after the robot, occasionally bumping into people.]
Baymax! Wait! [Baymax might not be fast, but it’s easy to get separated from him. Heads up, he’s not at all watching where he’s running. He might just run right into you…or through you. Or through a building. Well that’s not normal, is it? Who knows where he’ll end up.]
CERES Game Center
[Being nearly invisible is kinda bad. He’s almost completely faded by the time he makes his way to the CERES game center with Baymax at his side. The robot and invisible-boy are blocking the entrance to ViViD today due to the fact that Hiro’s sitting just outside of it scowling at it, moving around the system to try and figure it out without going inside. If he sees someone passing by though or even approaching to play, he’ll catch their attention, trying to grab them by the arm and phasing right through.]
Hey, I have a question for you.

Dude, are you okay? [By the time he reaches Kanda though, his wrist is straightened out and...everything looks normal? Wait a second.] ...I just saw you get hit by a bike, right? I'm not making things up. [He shakes his head.] Baymax, scan him.
no subject
[ kanda directs a very suspicious look at him, and another one at baymax. the heck's up with that... ]
I'm fine. Don't scan me, what?
[ a hand hovers over the hilt of his sword automatically. ]
no subject
What's wrong with you? [It's not clear if he's talking to Baymax or to Kanda. Or both.] I'll take you to Tadashi's to check everything out later. [He looks back at Kanda though, eyes honing in on the sword and holding up his hands in defense. Bro, keep your sword where it is. Please don't pop his robot. Or him.] How did you just do that? [He gestures to the hand that he knows was damaged. People don't just regenerate and heal themselves like that...right?]
no subject
[ he isn't moving a hand from his sword, but he doesn't tighten his grip on it, either. so that's a good sign. ]
I don't know what you think you saw, but I'm going to get some answers out of you before I answer any of your questions.
no subject
Tadashi's my older brother and he might not be able to fix you, but he can at least help me check out Baymax. Now do I get an answer?
no subject
I'm fine. [ a quick show of his wrist, which indeed looks healthy now. in the seconds before baymax scanned him, the fractured bones and twisted ligaments were reforming and realigning, but now he's fine and dandy. ] What else do you want?
no subject
If you say so. [He will find out your secrets, dude. Somehow.] You always carry your sword around? [Because...he kinda would like to know just how much of a threat Cerealia really is.]
no subject
Yeah. [ he's finally moving his hand away from the hilt. ] Why, you got a problem with it?
no subject
no subject
[ and he's weirdly attached to it, but he doesn't acknowledge that. ]

no subject
What the fuck is a... bay-max?
no subject
Hello. I am Baymax.
[Hiro, otherwise, isn't saying anything just to see what Kanda will do.]
no subject
What's it for?
no subject
[The robot looks down, scanners fully functioning and reading over Hiro's vitals.]
Your heart rate is elevated, but your neurotransmitter levels are stable. This is improvement.
[...eh, whatever. He looks back at Kanda.] Baymax is designed to scan his patients and diagnose any medical issues he has. He also knows how to treat thousands of them.
no subject
So he's just going to patch you up if something happens? Not stop the danger or protect you?

Dude. Ow? [Upon hearing the magic words, the robot looks down, automatically scanning him.]
It appears there are no injuries.
[Which is fine, but Hiro's not entirely okay with what just happened here.] That shouldn't even count, what was that? [Speed. That was way too fast for a normal person and he's Not Having It.]
no subject
[ kanda's logic. ]
You can't defend yourself that well, anyway. Clearly.
no subject
[He glances down.] Could you defend yourself very well without the sword?
no subject
[ kanda brushes a hand over the hilt of mugen reflexively. ]
Depends against what.
no subject
...you're saying there's stuff it can't defend against?
no subject
[ and for some reason kanda seems grouchy about that, but it's mostly misdirected annoyance and anger. ]
But it's still a blade that can cut you. And your... bay-max. [ no need to worry about that! ]
no subject
Anyway, our armor could probably stand up to it. A blade's still a blade, specialized or not. [Since it doesn't look like a laserbeam or anything weird.]
