Karaoke Contest
Rip van Winkle
She definitely does NOT suck, though she IS wearing a rather large toothy grin as she sings as if there's something about the song that she finds funny.]
Vietnam
So she did it, the solo version of some Korean classic that she often did with Taiwan back home as long as Korea actually wasn't looking. At least she has a cute voice (first half) and thanks to being strong and fit, she's got the routine down! But it's clear her enthusiasm lies more at wanting to run away. (That and she's kind of exhausted.)
SHE DID THIS FOR YOU, CEREALIA. RIP.]
no subject
Yes, Archer paid good money for this.
And he's sporting the smuggest smile as she finishes. Heck, he'd vote her winner, just to see if she'd get embarrassed over it.]
no subject
That gives her time to spot Archer with that smug look on his face. She knew he was her biggest sponsor. So...generous...
She's going to kill him (no she won't but she can imagine.) Just let her move on over to him anyway.]
Thank you for your support. [It's clear she's really about to explode despite trying to say this as cool as possible.]

makes it rain cash money $$$ at her performanceno jk, makoto was far from the highest sponsor, but he was the one waiting with two drinks — one fizzy soda and one plain water bottle by the stands. even under the influence of his weird earthy zen, he manages a commiserative grin at her when she finishes up her routine. looks like it melted his heart?!
he can't wave her over with both hands preoccupied, but if she wanders over after her karaoke/dance routine hybrid, he'll definitely let her have first dibs on the fantastic options of either pure carbonated sugar or clean spring water. consider it a reward for a job well done, vietnam! ]

SHE'LL DANCING AS HE MAKES IT RAIN WHOAHe was already one of the highest, and considering his age, he provided a lot! Also look at how generous he is. She didn't expect him to have drink ready for her, she was already happy enough to see him. Despite still being embarrassed about her performance. Did she overdo it?!
She still beams up at him once she makes her way over, since his zen like ways made it easier to not be completely embarrassed. And she's too tired to give it much thought.]
Makoto!

I didn't know you can dance.
no subject
At least he's pleased(?) since he did give her a lot of money to do this.]
A-ah, I'm not that good at dancing, but I am able to pick it up after much practice since I work out. My sister and I did this routine frequently for karaoke.

That sounds like some of the sounds that would play on the radio! What was it called again? What did my brother call it?
K...pop right?
no subject
Oh! Yes, it is Kpop. Is your brother a fan? Did you like it?

Inaba Himeko
Today, she's decided to sport something pretty casual -- black's her color, after all, so why should she do things any differently today? On stage though, the song that starts to play out is something a little more energetic than she seems.
At the very least, she's not a horrible singer. In fact, it's quite the opposite! And she seems to be singing with quite some emotion, something that's actually pretty rare for her. Or at least, the emotions she's pouring out is something different for most people who know her. ]
Ai Thao Kha
✪ Die Young
✪ Fly Me to the Moon
✪ Quiet
How is she? Not bad really, in fact, it's even rather sweet especially when she begins to enjoy herself a lot more, gaining confidence with each song.]

She's clapping!!]
Ah, what a lovely voice! [Thank god it's all a lovely and sweet performance.]

[Ai bows her head shyly partly because full bowing isn't necessary here.]
I'm glad I was able to contribute this way! It was more fun than I thought.

You looks like you had a lot of fun.
sorry for the late tag!
[Ai smiles at Tieria, bowing her head shyly before looking up at him again.]
And I did! I thought I was going to back out because of nervousness, but so many people sponsored me so I went for it anyways!
Ene
She's hardly going to sing any of her canon songs since they are extremely personal and/or traumatic, but luckily her singing VA has a pool of songs I can draw from. Ene hops onto stage, enthusiastically launching into Rising Hope.]

Whoa, Super Pretty Cyber Girl Sir Ene-chan! You're good! Really, really good!

Minato
sponsorsfriends, so it's with gusto that he'll launch into performing this song! Those who have already seen Minato might be surprised by how energetic and lively he seems compared to his usual lethargic appearance, and his voice rings clear to the audience. Although there's a definite amateur-ish tone to his performance it's obvious that Minato's been singing karaoke for years and he has raw talent for it.]
no subject
That was great, Sir Minato! You didn't look sneaky or tired at all! [ He doesn't look sneaky normally, either, but technicalities. ]

Y' shittin' me, seriously? A'ight, fine. Shitty song's for Thatch an' Grell. 'S their fault 'm here.
[He dutifully begins, perfectly on beat, though he sounds tired. Also his voice is more akin to fighting cats, or the static interference that comes through a radio. You're welcome, Cerealia.]
Jus' a small town girl
Livin' in a lonely world
She took the midnight train goin' anywhere
Jus' a city boy
Born an' raised in wherever the hell that is
He took the midnight train goin' anywhere
[If the fruit isn't already flying by this point, he'll wind up shaking his head a few times during the musical interim, trying to keep himself awake. Seriously, this too tired to do shit thing is getting really old.]
A singer in a smoky room
The smell of wine and cheap perfume
For a smile they can share a night
It goes on and on and on and on
[He couldn't help but smile at that part. And blush a little.]
Strangers, waitin'
Up an' down the boulevard
Their shadows searchin' in the night
Streetlights, people
Livin' jus' t' find emotion
Hidin' somewhere in the niiiiiiiight!
[Hey, if he's going down in flames, he's gonna burn it down with him. He gathers up what energy he has and throws it all into that one, high, caterwauling note, imbuing it with as much emotion as he can dredge. It's a good thing there's another musical interlude right after that because he needs a moment to recover.
Someone please start throwing shit at him now, otherwise it's gonna get boring.]
