Today is the big day to put your mouth where your money is! Or something like that. Welcome to the first ever (??) Charity Event! Remember that it isn’t about winning, it’s about making the world you’re in now a better place until you leave!

Signups are still a thing, so hop on in! Spectators are welcomed! Voting for events will be hosted in this post, where comments will be screened.

[Is she surprised she has a sponsor for this? Hardly. Even though this is for charity, Rip views it as publicity for one of her least violent talents. So when she takes the stage, she waits for the music to start and then just.. starts singing.

She definitely does NOT suck, though she IS wearing a rather large toothy grin as she sings as if there's something about the song that she finds funny.]

Vietnam

[Vietnam promised to do a dance along with her song(s) if she got a lot of charity donations. IT'S A SACRIFICE FOR A HIGHER CAUSE. Part of her regrets it, but as someone who makes a promise, she will not back down!

So she did it, the solo version of some Korean classic that she often did with Taiwan back home as long as Korea actually wasn't looking. At least she has a cute voice (first half) and thanks to being strong and fit, she's got the routine down! But it's clear her enthusiasm lies more at wanting to run away. (That and she's kind of exhausted.)

SHE DID THIS FOR YOU, CEREALIA. RIP.]

Inaba Himeko

[ While Inaba hasn't sung in a while (she has some fond memories of karaoke, after all) she's honestly not half bad. Besides, it's a good way to pass the the time and doesn't require too much hard work. Is she surprised that she got a sponsor for this? A little, actually, but... she knows Ryuko considers her as a friend, even if Inaba herself doesn't really consider her as a friend (???) out loud. She's very protective, after all.

Today, she's decided to sport something pretty casual -- black's her color, after all, so why should she do things any differently today? On stage though, the song that starts to play out is something a little more energetic than she seems.

At the very least, she's not a horrible singer. In fact, it's quite the opposite! And she seems to be singing with quite some emotion, something that's actually pretty rare for her. Or at least, the emotions she's pouring out is something different for most people who know her. ]

Ai Thao Kha

[Ai Thao is someone who loved singing, although singing in public and for charity was something entirely new altogether. But hey, for a good cause right? She dresses up in a simple, but pretty blue dress and sings some songs. Three even!

How is she? Not bad really, in fact, it's even rather sweet especially when she begins to enjoy herself a lot more, gaining confidence with each song.]

[Ene is a vocaloid and pretty much obligated to join in here. Also, singing is fun, and if she can sing and help out the residents here, why not try? It's a little nerve-racking being on stage in front of so many people, she's had to play games in front of crowds and that was mortifying, but this isn't some zombie shooter, it's completely normal for cute teenage girls to like karaoke right?? Right!

She's hardly going to sing any of her canon songs since they are extremely personal and/or traumatic, but luckily her singing VA has a pool of songs I can draw from. Ene hops onto stage, enthusiastically launching into Rising Hope.]

Minato

[Some might notice Minato looking a little hesitant before going up on the stage since he's new, but this quickly changes once the microphone is in his hands. He's determined to do something to help the residents and he can't let down his sponsors friends, so it's with gusto that he'll launch into performing this song!

Those who have already seen Minato might be surprised by how energetic and lively he seems compared to his usual lethargic appearance, and his voice rings clear to the audience. Although there's a definite amateur-ish tone to his performance it's obvious that Minato's been singing karaoke for years and he has raw talent for it.]

Namur

[Namur looks half asleep and like he isn't entirely sure where he is. Someone has really dressed him up for the occasion, somehow finding a white jumpsuit, beaded in shades of blue and green with colorful, split bellbottoms and an elaborate cape that both fits an eight foot tall shark fishman and makes room for his fin. There's even blue and silver glitter gel glinting in his black hair. The music starts, and he groans.]

Y' shittin' me, seriously? A'ight, fine. Shitty song's for Thatch an' Grell. 'S their fault 'm here.

[He dutifully begins, perfectly on beat, though he sounds tired. Also his voice is more akin to fighting cats, or the static interference that comes through a radio. You're welcome, Cerealia.]

[If the fruit isn't already flying by this point, he'll wind up shaking his head a few times during the musical interim, trying to keep himself awake. Seriously, this too tired to do shit thing is getting really old.]

[Hey, if he's going down in flames, he's gonna burn it down with him. He gathers up what energy he has and throws it all into that one, high, caterwauling note, imbuing it with as much emotion as he can dredge. It's a good thing there's another musical interlude right after that because he needs a moment to recover.

Someone please start throwing shit at him now, otherwise it's gonna get boring.]

[ Team Raid Bosses??? That's... not the name she would have suggested, but who cares. She's transformed and ready to duke it out, no matter who her opponent is. ]

[ 'Team Raid Bosses' wasn't Nanoha's first choice of name. She had wanted something appropriately magical, but Ryuko refused to accept the magical girl moniker so that technically left the team with zero magical girls. (Although Hiro was oddly into it.)

So she went with a technically accurate description. They were all ridiculously tough and suited to taking on several people at once, so Raid Boss it was.

Nanoha's all geared up for the event too. She's wearing her full Fortress regalia, shields and Raising Heart orbiting around her as she hovered in the air over the stage. ]

Well then, it's been a while, but let's go make this a good fight!

[In Hiro's eyes, they were a magical girl team. Well, a group of magical girls and a big scary demon monster. But this was a perfect and strong team in his opinion! In his heart, they were all official members of his personal "Hero Brigade" regardless since the Shining One always did whatever he pleased. Their hearts were truly in sync!

So in this corner... We have Hiro who is dressed up as a magical girl for the occasion and striking various magical girl poses with a faux feminine voice. If you had an audience, then it never hurt to show off a bit... Right?]

[Illidan didn't enter the fray with any theatrics, as soon as the signal was given he charged in, head-first, glaives drawn. His goal was to catch someone by surprise and gain the upper hand quickly. For one of his size and clunky physique, he is quite agile and can move quickly.]

[ Rin looks the same as she does outside of ViViD except she has black hair-!! Oh, and she looks less grumpy as if she's within her element. ]

Wow these graphics are kind of... [ She finishes it off with a groan to express her displeasure at the stage chosen.

Before she just opens up a command prompt screen in front of her. How is she doing this, who knows!! Except pretty much anyone who ever listens to her talk for five seconds knows that she's a hacker and there we go, the background music has changed, there are more items for her teammates including items that shouldn't even be in this game (did she seriously upload more mods) so go wild.

... also anyone is free to attack her while she's doing this. She doesn't look like much of a fighter with heeled boots on, but go on. It'll be fun. ]

Runway Drag Show @ Sanctuary

There is a T-shaped catwalk for our contestants to strut their stuff, along with fresh music to get you excited!! Flash photography is encouraged, as are embarrassing clothing mishaps!

Iwatooshi

[Standing at 6'7" and weighing god-knows-how-much, with a 999/0 kill/death ratio... coming straight from Cerealia's very own Swordhaus, please welcome Iwatooshi to the runway! He'll be sporting a slightly modified bunny suit, complete with coattails and the highest of heels- and let's not forget that he's still brandishing his naginata too, for improv pole dancing? Maybe. For now, enjoy the lights and the booming, bassy jams of his walk.

Despite his size, he's rather swift on his feet, with hips swaying and smile dazzling as always. It really wasn't hard to dress him up and shape his body right, evident by the way his bustier is tight and supporting around his pecs.

With a wink towards anyone and everyone in the audience, he leans forward and blows a kiss before arching back up to slip the jacket off of his shoulders, tossing it into the crowd. The little rabbit tail is now visible, as well as some of his other curves. You're welcome.

He reaches up and tugs on one of the rabbit ears, feigning shyness and pouting. A final (cleavage-bearing) bow, and his time is unfortunately up. He gives a tiny wave and turns smoothly, sashaying away. Thank you for coming out tonight, you were a lovely audience!]

Zack Fair

[If whoever had signed him up for this (Rin) had thought this was going to be embarrassing (RIN), it certainly doesn't look that way. (He only has so many options when trying to figure out the mixup, and it really only points in one direction, you-know-who.)

In fact, the only thing that really gives him away in this ridiculous pink monstrosity of a dress is the broad cut of his shoulders; the cut of the dress does the rest of the work, mimicking a shape with curves that Zack really doesn't possess. It hugs uncomfortably in places his uniform never has, and he's fairly sure he fails to understand the existence of heels moreso than he ever has before now. "Shoes are just shoes" is, in fact, really not true; why do these even exist?

Despite the awkwardness of his walk (which is nothing short of a hot mess when balancing on pointed heels is a skill he's never had to master--or really consider, ever--before), and the momentary discomfort of it, the idiot Zack is smiling broadly like this is just another common occurrence. In this, there is, at least one layer of silver lining: putting all that practice (minuscule in reality, but he learns quickly) with Aerith's hair to good use. Because even if he weren't completely secure in his identity (at least, in any respect that doesn't involve Hamlet-esque internal monologues on the nature of monsters), charity counts as good use. Other people always do.

When he makes it to the end, blessedly without falling flat on his face, he pulls off the wreath of flowers on his head, throws it out to the crowd and winks, before spinning around, almost losing his balance (again), and sauntering back the way he came.]

[England didn't have very much time to practice in between learning about the charity and the actual event. as such, he decided to pick a song he knew fairly well already, got his hands on a guitar, prayed for sponsors, and rehearsed outside a couple hours for a few days.

he wanted to win this thing.

when he takes the stage, he's not dressed in his usual old-man sweatshirt and slacks. nope, today, he's got on worn skinny jeans, boots, a tee-shirt and jacket. and is that guyliner? well, you have to put on some make-up for the stage. otherwise, you're going to look washed out!

the song starts with some percussion, and then comes the guitar and a tenor voice that you probably didn't expect to come out of this guy's mouth. he can sing well, and he chose a song that would get the audience excited, complete with some high falsetto, and a really cool guitar solo to show off his skills.

he kind of wishes he had time to put together a whole band. but at least this way England can rake in all the glory for himself. he knows he's good, so he's oozing confidence in his performance.

if he has time to do a second song (or if the audience requests an encore), he'll add in Drive My Car, because the guitar in that one is pretty good too]

Run for a Cause Marathon

Starting at the Residential District in front of CERES Gymnasium, there are various places where you must take a selfie to prove you were there! Feel free to photobomb someone else’s, but characters must still take their own selfies!

First Checkpoint: Entertainment District
Find the game center and take a selfie there! Easy!

Second Checkpoint: Shopping District
Find a mannequin and take a selfie with it!

Third Checkpoint: Research District
Take a selfie in front of the police department with a police officer.

Fourth Checkpoint: Pleasure District
Take a selfie atop of a stripper pole.

Last Checkpoint: Residential District
Take a selfie in the gardens, but beware of the hallucinogen plants!

Then cross the finish line back at the gym to finish your race! Confetti for everyone!

Once all participants are at the start line, the signal is given to begin the race!

[ He hasn't been in Cerealia that long enough, but raising money to rebuild the new city he's going to live in doesn't sound like a bad idea. Despite being a smoker as well as a bookworm, he's still very much an athlete and is no stranger to running for long stretches.

He's at the halfway point of the marathon already, and the instructions say to take a selfie with a police officer at this checkpoint. It gets a light smirk out of him, considering he's a police officer himself.

While he's going to have to look for another officer before proceeding, how about your character takes a convenient selfie with Kogami? If they don't know that he's an officer yet, they might have seen someone else take a few photos with him by now. ]
