Today is the big day to put your mouth where your money is! Or something like that. Welcome to the first ever (??) Charity Event! Remember that it isn’t about winning, it’s about making the world you’re in now a better place until you leave!

Signups are still a thing, so hop on in! Spectators are welcomed! Voting for events will be hosted in this post, where comments will be screened.

Yeah, I think so! I don't think it would be too hard, I just need to do what mom does! Like clean the house and buy a lot of food too! But I think I might need to learn how to cook or something.

I tell you what, if you ever want a home-cooked meal, or even cooking lessons, you can count on me. [England's already pulling out his notepad, so that he can write his new address on it. he's pretty sure Edgeworth won't mind... right?]

[Now that his friends and parents weren't here, he needed to do triple the work now!]

Are you sure? I would like cooking lessons a lot and some food from you too but it seems like a lot of work!

[he even wrote Kirkland-san, in katakana and hiragana on the top! after that, he rips the paper free from the notepad and hands it to Takeru] And don't worry about the work. Cooking can be easy once you know what you're doing. I'm certain a bright young man like yourself will be able to pick up a few easy recipes in no time.

[but you shouldn't have to, England wants to say. but... he can't just come out and tell Takeru to stay with him and Edgeworth. it might sound weird! they just met, after all. still, England is concerned about all these kids being brought to Cerealia and forced to live alone]

Then thank you, Kirkland-san! Whenever I go to your house or something for cooking lessons, I'll be sure to give you something too! Mom said that I should always do something for people in return whenever they help me out!

What do I like? [hmmm!] Well, I like a lot of things. But I think most of all, I like tea, or magical items. Or, you know, artifacts that are said to hold magical properties. [and unicorns. he likes unicorns and fairies. but England's not going to say that just yet] But even if you can't bring a gift, I wouldn't mind learning about your world. [here, he smiles at Patamon. ah, he likes creatures like Patamon, too... or animals in general]

[The more that Takeru thought about it, the more he had to wonder. Just how in the world was he suppose to get a magical item? Think, think, think! Ponder, ponder, ponder!]

Well...I think I can get you tea but I think a magical item or something is going to be a lot harder...

[He trailed off before looking back at Patamon. However, the Digimon just smiled right back!]

If you want to learn more about my world, then you just need to ask! I don't mind telling you about the Digital World! But I gotta warn you, it's a really dangerous place filled with a lot of monsters!

[the Digital World! England's eyes light up with interest] Yes, tell me about that when you come over! That would be the best type of trade, an exchange of information.

Then I will! Because there is a lot of stuff to talk about! I don't think even one visit to your place can cover it all!

Like even though it's suppose to be a bunch of computers, it sure feels as real as being in the wild! We nearly got killed a lot of times too!

[Not to mention Takeru nearly got shot 4 times before but...!]

Well...yeah, my friends and I are the Chosen Child that need to save the Digital World! So that's why a lot of evil Digimon that don't want us around!

It's really cool place to be in but it's also really scary too!

[it sounds scary. so did that mean there were other children that were living in this Digital World? Chosen Children... meant to save this Digital World? like little superheroes?]

What's a Digimon? [England has a guess, but he wants to make sure. there are a lot of things Takeru is saying, and he needs to keep things straight]

[And now this was here Patamon stepped right in!]

A Digimon is a Digital Monster! We live inside the Digital World where we're all made of data and where we can evolve should Takeru ever be in danger! But the higher your evolutions are, the stronger you get!

Does that make sense?

[oh. huh. Digital World, producing Digital Monsters. that does make sense, and England nods, looking interested again]

Yes, thank you. [and then to Takeru] So, then, I take it you're not from the Digital World? [as England had previously thought. he thinks he's getting the basic idea now, though]

Of course not! If I were, I would have been a Digimon...which would have been really cool and especially to have all those powers!

[But then again...he didn't really like the idea of constantly fighting though]

I'm from Earth and I live in Japan! I'm pretty sure I'm as human as I can get! But is there anything else you want to know?

[so only Digital Monsters come from this Digital World. okay, England understood a little bit better]

I think that's good enough for now. [he smiles warmly. the next act would be starting soon, and it was probably a good idea that they pay attention to that if they were sticking around. there would be more time for questions later] Thank you for sharing some of your story with me, Takeru, Patamon.
