a.) i want to play a game (text)

[After the heavy damage and loss, Leia's practically made it a routine to help out where she can: the school and the apartments especially. She knows how important the Residential District is, though she'd be lying if she didn't spend her fair share of time at the Game Center, too.

On the seventh, it's no different, though she finds a slightly different way to help than the usual.]

hey!! （‐＾▽＾‐） wow, everyone's been working so hard lately... look how far we've come! don't forget to rest. if u need a break, stop by the gardens this afternoon for a surprise!

it's also my birthday, if youre into that sort of thing.. but you'll have to find me first (○ゝω・○)ﾉﾟ+.☆ see you there!

b.) it's a trap! (action)

[For those intrigued enough to come, or even just passing by, they'll find that the gardens aren't quite as pretty as they were before. Nevertheless, the amount of collaborative work so far is obvious. New flowers are budding, pathways repaired, and it's all good enough for Leia. She doesn't need anything elaborate like Natalia's party was; this will do.

A long picnic table is set up, and on top of it is food. Three large pizzas with various toppings, all kinds of flavored chips and dips to go with them, and at the center of it all, a mysterious cake that doesn't actually say anything about her birthday. Predictably it's chocolate, with your standard frosting, decorative flowers, and only two words on its face: "Almost There." Next to the cake is a large knife for cutting it, as well as paper plates, plastic utensils, and a small note propped up like a name tag.]

[. . . but where is she? Feel free to set off to find her, or simply mingle among yourselves and enjoy the free eats.]

c.) where's waldo? (action)

[Deeper into the garden (but not too deep), it won't actually take too long to find Leia; it might just take a little effort. If your character is the type to look high, they might spot her in a tree (don't be surprised if she falls out of it); or for others who want to stick to the ground, they might notice a fast-moving shadow move behind a tree, or a rustling of leaves behind one, if it's particularly big.

If she knows you, she might just might pop up in front of you to yell "BOO," just for kicks. So much for the chase.

Be creative! Or let me make shit up as I go. Your choice. Either way, any characters taking this option will receive a little something for their troubles.]

d.) walking on the wild side (any)

[Anything goes! I'm very flexible and open. You can catch Leia as she's setting up the table(s), or assume she returns to the table(s) after most of the food is gone, etc. if either of those options appeal more to you.]

(( ooc: just a note that leia probably won't be able to reply to option b! it's mostly for mingling purposes if you want it. ♥ ))

[The moment he heard that, he scratched the side of his head. Oh dear, that was a pretty rude thing to say wasn't it? Quick, Takeru, say something else!

T-That's okay, you don't need to do that! I didn't know you didn't have ice cream, we can just share some birthday cake or whatever snacks you have! But you get to have the first bite of whatever you want to eat!

It's your birthday so you get the first of everything!

[Admittedly, cake seems like a damn good alternative. Still, she feels like she owes this kid some ice cream now, and she'll definitely remember it. She cheers up a little at his positive attitude--

She wishes she could have that effect on people.]

We'll see. The cake I picked out is pretty great, so who knows if someone hasn't helped themselves already?

Then we better hurry, we don't want any cake thief to come over and take it! Because the first bite of the cake should always to the birthday person! That's just now it is!

[With that, he suddenly an idea!]

But don't worry, Leia-san! Takeru Takaishi and Patamon will be on the case! If there is a thief that stole a part of the cake, I'm pretty sure we can find it!

[...Or they could just ask really]

[Or they could ask. She laughs as she leads them over to the tables.]

That sounds like fun, but I don't know if I can really call it thieving when I made it a point to invite everyone.

I believe in you guys though. If anyone can find someone like that, it's you.

By the way, do you like chocolate?

I'll still keep an eye out anyway Patamon and I are really good at finding evil Digimon so maybe this will be the same too! If we find anything bad, we'll let you know!

[Not that he really wants to find any thieves around here but it never hurts to be prepared!]

Of course, I like chocolate! Who doesn't? [Giggles] Why do you ask?

[She feels safer already! She grins, answering him easily.]

That's the flavor of cake I chose!

[When they're close enough, Leia lifts the cover off the cake. Seems like it has been touched, but it looks no less delicious. Already, she grabs at the knife close by to cut them some slices.]

[As soon as the blond saw the cake? He could feel his mouth watering already! While he had eaten plenty of cakes before, he just couldn't wait! His stomach was growling and he wanted to eat it right now!

Although, suddenly something popped up!]

Ah wait! You're the birthday girl, you need to eat the cake first! It would be mean of me if I did it before you did!

[She can tell how eager he is! He won't have to wait long, though. Leia hands him a small plate complete with his slice and a small plastic fork.]

I don't think you could be mean if you tried, but I don't mind going first. Share with Patamon, okay?

[Not sure if Digimon like that sort of thing...?

Anyway, she starts to cut her own slice after that!]

Of course, Patamon's going to get hungry if I don't!

[He said with a chuckle before giving a piece to his Digimon partner.

As they went to find a place to sit, the both of them waited for Leia to grab a slice of her own. Although, it was clear that they were staring at the cake rather intensely and counting the seconds in their heads until they can eat it.

Ooohhhh, he didn't want to be rude but at the same time...!]

I hope my mom won't be mad that I want to eat first...

[journaler]

[He won't have to wait long! She'll follow right behind him, and she's already taking her first bite as they sit. Of course, it's okay, since she's the birthday girl, but she's not sure she would have waited, even if she wasn't . . .]

Hmm? Your mom is here on the colony, too?

[She perks up at that, curious.]

[As soon as she took the first bite, both Patamon and him started eating right away! But when she said those words? He gave her a small frown]

No...she isn't but I think that's okay.

I don't know what kind of place Cerealia is but I don't want her to get hurt. That PacMan game was really scary! And hangman too! I don't anyone to get hurt here!

[And let's not forget Tetris. He doesn't want to get squished]

Oh, man . . . [Leia's voice drags with guilt, remembering those levels herself. Her and her big mouth.] You're right. ViViD is pretty brutal to newcomers, so you must've been really brave and strong to make it through that.

She would've be proud.

[At least, Leia would like to think so. She wonders if her own mom would be proud of her, too . . .]

[With that, the boy giggled I really hope so!

Maybe that would mean I'm a superhero or something if I was able to beat it! But there were a lot of other people who helped me out too so I don't think I'm that strong!

[Then he gave a pause]

I wish I could be like them and help a lot of people!

[She grins and can't help but feel better when he giggles. Of course she's going to encourage him.]

Put your mind to it and anything is possible.

You know, I work at a game center, so you can come practice with me any time!

Yeah, I guess so! That's what my mom and my brother always tell me. As long as I do my best, everything's going to be okay!

[Still, when he heard what she said next though?]

Really? Then I would love to! Maybe as soon as the party is over, we can hang out and go to the game center if we can! I want to try and see if I can play all the games over there!

[Just imagining his little face lighting up is enough. She definitely won't say no.]

Absolutely! Be prepared though, because it'll a while. We've got five floors of fun for you to go through.

That makes it even better! I never get to play that many floors before, I'm use to only playing with just one!

A lot of the arcades I go to just has one floor anyway right? But you must be rich if you work at a really big place!

[Rich . . . had she really come off that way? Aha. She seems mildly embarrassed, nnnot entirely sure how to respond to such an . . . accusation. She feels like she'd be crushing his dreams, or at least his image of her.]

Well, I don't know about that, but I do love it there. Sometimes I get to wear a costume.

[And for a split moment, Takeru wondered if he might have said something wrong. Which is why he gave a small frown to her]

Well, that's good though! I'm glad that you're having fun there but...I didn't make you sad did I?

If I did, I'm really sorry! But if you're not rich, that's okay too! The important thing is that you're fun to hang out with!

[...That probably didn't make things better did it?]

[Leia looks legitimately confused. Embarrassed, absolutely for sure! But it takes a lot more than that to make her sad. She laughs lightly, admiring his innocence.]

You're a lot of fun yourself, so right back at you. I could never be sad with someone as adorable as you around!
