You're going out for supplies? [Feeling wrongfooted, Korra just parrots back his words, blinking.]

Oh, I'm just here looking around. I don't actually... go here? [She rubs at the back of her neck sheepishly.] Wait, so you're not a patient?

[Mentally rewinding the conversation, Korra draws what conclusion she can. If he's getting supplies for the nurse's office, that means he must work here in some way.]

You're not a student? [Blink blink] Then you're not hurt are you? [Although from what he can tell, he doesn't look hurt but then again, you never know!]

But ,nope, I'm not! I suppose to help the school nurse out whenever they need some stuff! Like right now, they wanted me to get some supplies but...

[He said before looking around the area once more] I wish they would have told me what they wanted. I don't even know what most of the things are here!

Nope, not a student, and not hurt either. I just wanted to see what the school looked like.

[His confession has her raising her brow, though.] Huh, really? [That sounds pretty lame. If they're going to send someone out on errands, the least they can do is tell him what he needs to be looking for, right?

Korra closes the door behind her, stepping fully into the room.]

Well, I guess it's a good thing I know my way around medical supplies. I can help you figure out what you need and help you pick out the supplies, if you want.

Then you never been to a school before? Well, I could show you around whenever we have time! This school is kind of different from the school back home too!

[However, he didn't get a good look around the school either. He just knows it's different with all the weird technology!

When Korra closed the door behind her, he was about to ask why. Although, his question was soon answered before he gave a quick nod!]

Of course, I would love your help! I just know what a bandaid and an icepack is, I'm not really sure what the other stuff are!

Nope! I've always been taught at home. [Korra grins at him and makes a motion like she's rolling up her sleeves for some hard work.] Alright, I think some of these are new to me, too, but I can probably fill you in on the rest of them. Katara was my teacher back home and she's the best around.

[Now she goes through the cabinets and pulls out a few things like a roll of bandages, some antiseptic, a few cotton swabs, and medicinal cream.]

So...if someone comes in with a deep cut, which one of these items do you use first?

[Takeru wasn't going to complain about that! As he saw Korra getting ready, he too mimicked her and rolled his sleeves up to prepare himself! This was going to be some intense studying!!]

That's okay if you don't, I don't know most of them either! So we can be confused together!

[That's...not making things better Takeru. Either way, when he saw Korra getting out a few things, he recognizes some of them. Although, most of them seem like something Jyou could carry around]

A deep cut huh? Well, you would get the bandages out! That would stop the bleeding!

Yeah, you do use the bandages. [Korra smiles at him, sliding into the encouraging state she had been in with Opal back in Zhaofu.]

First, though, you need to clean the cut and make sure it doesn't get infected. That's what this is for. [Korra taps the bottle of antiseptic.] After you've cleaned it, you can apply some medicine [a light touch to the tube of cream] with some of the cotton swabs.

Oh right, that's the stuff my mom and Jyou-san would use whenever I get hurt! How could I forget about that?

[He smiled to himself before picking it up and looking straight at it! Almost as if he was trying to get himself to memorizing it should anything happen!]

And then some cream too afterwards! I'll need to remember that! But it sure is a lot just for a cut though! No wonder being a doctor is so hard, you got so much stuff to store in your head!

[Korra laughs, leaning against the counter a little as she watches him handle the items.]

Yeah, it gets pretty complicated. I mean, I can heal with water, so it makes it a little easier, but there's still a lot you have to memorize. [She gives a helpless little shrug, the smile dimming just a bit.] You can't heal everything in one try anyway.

[To shake off those unhappy thoughts, Korra leans over and peeks into the supply cabinets.] Looks like this place is running low on the antiseptic and cream. Want to just stock up on those at the market?

[Korra has a feeling the school would just send anyone with serious injuries to the hospital instead of trying to treat them here.]

[Now that made the boy raise an eyebrow as he kept trying his best to memorize what was in front of him.]

Heal with water? How do you do that? You mean just wash the injury and put a lot of stuff on it? [Huh, he never heard of healing someone with water before.] But whatever it is, do you think I can try it too? It sounds pretty cool!

[But until then? As the boy looked over to the cabinet, his eyes widen!]

Ah, I didn't know that! We should do that shouldn't we? I don't want to make the nurse mad when she finds out!

Oh, actually...I wish I could teach you--my healing's part of my waterbending. It's this power that I have from home. [Her hand reaches up and rubs at the back of her neck sheepishly.]

Probably should have mentioned that first. Does anyone from your world have powers? I know people can get weirded out the first time they hear about it here.

Waterbending? Then do you just bend water? But how can you do that, you just can't bend water! ...Can you? [However, the boy shook his head and gave Korra a big smile!]

But it's not weird, I think it's really cool! Outside of Digimon, there isn't anyone from home that powers!

I wish I can bend water, you can do a lot of cool stuff with that! Like uh...impressing people that you can bend water or something! But I still don't know how you can really bend water...

I can show you right now, if you want?

[His enthusiasm's pretty infectious, and Korra feels her own mischief building in response. She opens the water skin at her side, drawing some of the liquid out and letting it float just above her open hand.]

See? Waterbending. [As she toys with the water in her hand, she tilts her head at him.] Who's Digimon, anyway? A friend of yours?

[As she does so, the boy and Patamon just stared in awe. He wasn't sure how she was able to do that but his eyes just kept following the liquid around her hand.]

So that's how you bend water! I bet you must be a superhero or something if you can control water like that!

[But just then, he pointed to Patamon] Him! Patamon's a Digimon, he's digital monster! He can’t bend water but he can shoot out a huge gust of air! Which is pretty cool too!

[Korra's expression only brightens more, as it usually does whenever someone's enthusiastic about bending.]

This is nothing. You should see what the waterbending masters can do.

[And whoa, Korra's more than a little surprised when he points at Patamon. Here she was, thinking it was just a toy Takeru was holding onto. She recovers quickly, reaching out toward Patamon with her free hand.]

You should've introduced us earlier! Never heard of a Digimon before, but you're pretty cute, Patamon.

Oh yeah? Then what can they do? Oh, I know! I bet they can make giant pillars of water shoot up in the air! Now that would be really awesome to see too!

[He said before kneeling down and jumping straight up into the air to make his point! However, the Digimon just giggled before shaking Korra's hand!]

Sorry, I should have said something shouldn't I? But you can't blame me when there's so much going on! No one really has time to know what a Digimon is anymore and that's a shame don't you think?

[Korra laughs a little.] They probably can. Tell you what, when we're done picking up supplies for this place, I can show you guys some advanced waterbending.

[She's still a little distracted by Patamon, though, eyes still examining him with curiosity.]

It's definitely a shame that more people don't know about you. Do all the Digimon look the same?

Then we should get those supplies right now! If we finish it quickly, then we can see all the cool waterbending stuff you can do!

I bet they're even cooler than uh...some of the master waterbenders?

[Meanwhile, Patamon will be eyeing her right back!]

Of course not, there's plenty of different Digimon! There's even one that is 10 feet tall and looks like a giant bird! And another that looks like a dinosaur too! Although, I wish they were here so you can see them!

I bet you’ll be so surprised, you wouldn’t believe it!

Wow, I didn't know that would be such a huge motivator. Let's get this supply run over with. [Korra teases Takeru.] And I guess you could say that. I'm a top notch waterbender, if I do say so myself.

[Yeah, there's no sign of modesty up in here.]

Those digimon you described sound pretty amazing, though. I'd love to meet them if your friends show up here.

Then c'mon, we should probably be out the door by now! I'm sure we can find a few of these supplies in a grocery store right?

Maybe with your waterbending skills, we can pick out which ones are the better supplies or something!

[Although, it would be cooler to ride on a wave if possible! As Patamon giggled, the smile on his face didn't go away]

I think you'll like them too! Although, you better be careful though! I don't think you would want any bad Digimon to show up! They could really destroy Cerealia though!

Yeah, the Shopping District's huge, but we'll definitely find the supplies there.

[She holds her hands up placantingly and heads right out the door.] Okay, okay. I'm going!

[There are bad Digimon? Korra supposes that makes sense in a way.] So, if not a lot of people know what a Digimon is, how did you two meet anyway?

[And in the midst of Takeru going straight to the Shopping District, he kept mumbling to himself about the list of supplies he needed to get. Although, that didn't stop him from messing up a little.

As he kept looking down at his fingers to try and remember them...?]

Oh, that's easy! That's because my friends and I went to the Digital World! One day while we were all at camp, there was this huge tidal wave that popped up out of nowhere and then we were there!

It was really cool and scary at the same time!

[...That doesn't make things any better, Takeru!]
