Takeru
For the next hour or so, Korra sates her curiosity by walking through the academy's halls, peering into a few classes, and examining the papers plastered all over the bulletin boards. Just as she's searching for the exit (Who's lost? Not her. Definitely not.) she spies a sign pointing students toward the nurse's office, and decides to follow it despite herself.]
Oops, sorry! [Startled, Korra takes a step back. She definitely wasn't expecting to nearly trip over anyone right inside the door. With his size and appearance, Takeru looks just like a student to her.] Almost ran right into you. Are you heading out?
no subject
As he entered into the nurses's office, both him and Patamon just stared at the equipment and well? Just stared at it. While he heard that some people needed some medicial supplies, that was the problem. How was he suppose to know which ones he was suppose to get?
Although, for all his staring, it would eventually come to a halt the moment that he heard someone walking right by the door! While it took him by surprise, he just stared at Korra before he gave a smile]
It's okay, I don't mind! I shouldn't have stood right by the door! But I'm about to go out! I was just looking for some supplies! Or did you want to get some too?
no subject
Oh, I'm just here looking around. I don't actually... go here? [She rubs at the back of her neck sheepishly.] Wait, so you're not a patient?
[Mentally rewinding the conversation, Korra draws what conclusion she can. If he's getting supplies for the nurse's office, that means he must work here in some way.]
no subject
But ,nope, I'm not! I suppose to help the school nurse out whenever they need some stuff! Like right now, they wanted me to get some supplies but...
[He said before looking around the area once more] I wish they would have told me what they wanted. I don't even know what most of the things are here!
no subject
[His confession has her raising her brow, though.] Huh, really? [That sounds pretty lame. If they're going to send someone out on errands, the least they can do is tell him what he needs to be looking for, right?
Korra closes the door behind her, stepping fully into the room.]
Well, I guess it's a good thing I know my way around medical supplies. I can help you figure out what you need and help you pick out the supplies, if you want.
no subject
[However, he didn't get a good look around the school either. He just knows it's different with all the weird technology!
When Korra closed the door behind her, he was about to ask why. Although, his question was soon answered before he gave a quick nod!]
Of course, I would love your help! I just know what a bandaid and an icepack is, I'm not really sure what the other stuff are!
no subject
[Now she goes through the cabinets and pulls out a few things like a roll of bandages, some antiseptic, a few cotton swabs, and medicinal cream.]
So...if someone comes in with a deep cut, which one of these items do you use first?

Kanda
With some reluctance, Korra saves a slot of time in the late morning for meditation every few days, and something's been bugging her since the first time she tried. Today, she picks a dry, shady area of the gardens(emphasis on dry) as her meditation spot. Just as she's finishing up, she hears footsteps on the path in front of her, and the sound makes her look up.]
Kanda! Hey. [Seeing her semi-regular sparring partner's face, Korra gives him a little wave in greeting.] Trying to find a new place to practice?
no subject
Hey. [ he glances around, as if there might be someone coming by as well. ] No. It's quiet here.
[ so it's good for meditation, a fact he doesn't explicitly bring up even as he seeks out a place to sit. ]
no subject
She hazards a guess:] Looking for a place to meditate, then.
no subject
[ despite that, though, kanda is still visibly tense. his shoulders hunch up slightly under the jacket he's wearing. ]
Are you trying to, too?
no subject
You don't look too happy--you have trouble with meditation or something?
[She would totally understand the feeling if he did.]
no subject
I don't like all this water.
[ which is why he's trying to find a place to meditate, actually, or at least part of why. ]
no subject
[How they managed that without any proper drainage in the city is a mystery, but one Korra isn't even going to complain about, honestly.
A small smile plays around her lips as she looks at him now.]
If the dampness bothers you, I can make a dry spot for you to meditate, if you want.

Hiccup
Sorry, girl. Just getting a little antsy. [Korra grins sheepishly at her companion, scratching behind her ears. She perks up when she sees Hiccup and Toothless' distinct figures coming down the path toward her. This part of the garden is mostly open clearing, with just a few trees lined up against the path. It's perfect for what they're planning to do today--that is, leaping from the higher trees and attempting to fly with the suit Hiccup's designed for her. (What, you mean that isn't normal?)
She waves the viking and dragon duo over to her, grinning.]
You made it! Hey, Toothless. [Korra turns the smile on the dragon, leaning down slightly.] You here to watch the fun?
no subject
knowing what this is, living the joys of experimental hell again... he's experienced this too many times before. the joys of having hiccup as a rider...... though trees is an improvement from jumping off a cliff with there's an updraft for the giant wings strapped to my back as reasoning. ]
C'mon, bud, a little energy for our masterpiece. [ "save me," the dragon might've said. not that hiccup isn't already aware of toothless' opinion on the subject of Testing Out Flightsuits, which nets him a chuckle as the viking looks at korra. ] Don't mind him. He still remembers the first couple runs of...
[ a gesture of the head towards his own suit. ]
... Which weren't as smooth as yours. [ understatement. and also probably very reassuring to hear, except he did say this was simpler than his struggles of getting the first flightsuit pieced together. mostly... because... it was the first. experience makes things easier.
yes. hopefully. ] Ready?
no subject
That bad, huh? Wouldn't have been able to tell, it was working pretty well when I saw you last time.
[Then, Korra pumps her fist in the air.] You bet I'm ready! There's a restroom right over there I can use to change.
no subject
at least the dragon seems to have accepted his fate, and he trails over to naga, offering her a small croon. ]
That's because you haven't seen the rocky prototypes. Which, luckily, we were able to skip here.
[ but he'll pass the bundle to her now. everything has built up to this moment, the pinnacle of this Good Idea. ]
Here you are.
no subject
[The bundle's barely in her hands before she's dashing off to change into it, leaving Toothless, Naga, and Hiccup in the dust. Yeah, she might be a little too chipper about this, despite Hiccup's warnings about his well, hiccups.
In no time at all, Korra's back in the flight suit, tugging at some of the straps curiously. It's definitely tighter than anything she's worn before, that's for sure, and part of the outfit had been an adventure to get into.]
So? How does it look?
Keverett
Korra's quiet and pensive as they head for the shopping district's food stop--or she is, until she hears Naga let out an excited whuff and take off in a gallop.]
Naga?! Wait, where're you going? [Following Naga's current path, her gaze lands on... a food vendor cart and its owner. Korra blanches.] Naga, down!
[The order comes just in time to stop Naga from bowling into the vendor--Naga comes to a stop with a whine, tail wagging furiously--but probably not in time to give the hapless vendor a scare. Oops.]
no subject
Wow... [ He reaches out to pet Naga, whole body tense with excitement, knocking a couple of unfortunate water bottles fall to the ground. Ket barely spares them a glance. He's too delighted. ] Wooow, you're huge!
no subject
Korra, on the other hand, just looks relieved that he isn't phased.]
Sorry about that. I think she's just getting hungry. I'm Korra. This is Naga. [Korra places a hand on Naga's head, then leans down to scoop the fallen water bottles up and put them back where they belong.] She didn't knock anything over, right?
no subject
Mmm... she can have anything she likes! I don't know what dogs eat, but there's got to be something! [ ... ] She is a dog, right? I mean, the other one I saw was tiny and cute and... well, Naga's cute too, but a big kind of cute. Zwei was a small-cute.
no subject
You can just call me Korra, you know. And Naga's a polar bear dog. Nobody's really seen one before, so I'm guessing they're just native to my world. [The smile becomes a full-on grin at his enthusiasm.] You think she's cute? Most people are intimidated by her size.
[You. She likes you.]
no subject
Can I pet her? Please?
