Naga, huh... it's a cute name, Sir Korra! [ Ket grins, giving Korra a hearty nod as she returns the bottles. ] Thanks. Think that was me, actually. The bottles. [ Can he pet Naga yet? Can he??? Holy Sierbel, she looks so pettable. ]

Mmm... she can have anything she likes! I don't know what dogs eat, but there's got to be something! [ ... ] She is a dog, right? I mean, the other one I saw was tiny and cute and... well, Naga's cute too, but a big kind of cute. Zwei was a small-cute.

["Sir"... Korra tilts her head at him, her lips curling up in a smile.]

You can just call me Korra, you know. And Naga's a polar bear dog. Nobody's really seen one before, so I'm guessing they're just native to my world. [The smile becomes a full-on grin at his enthusiasm.] You think she's cute? Most people are intimidated by her size.

Definitely cute! Size doesn't matter, Si– uh, Korra! I mean Korra. But yeah, like I said: size doesn't matter. Anything can be cute. A feral the size of a house could be cute, just like a rat could be menacing. Naga's not menacing. [ So there's that. ]

Can I pet her? Please?

Sure you can. Looks like you have a new admirer, Naga. [Korra gives Naga one last pat on her neck, grinning, and the polar bar dog quickly gets to her feet and sniffs at Kat eagerly.

As the two get acquainted, Korra leans forward, peering at whatever Ket has on display in the cart.]

So what do you sell here? Must be pretty good if you got Naga to run over here like that.

Mmmm. [ Sorry, Korra, Ket's only half paying attention because HUGE FLUFFY DOG AAAAAA. Huge fluffy dog that he's now petting with vigor, first on the head, then on an ear, then on the neck. Just, aaaaaaaaa. This is a glorious encounter beyond his wildest dreams, shown by the SPARKLING WONDER in his eyes. ]

– Pancakes, teriyaki chicken, lemon chicken, kebabs, roasted chestnuts, human blood, grass, ramen, boba, seaweed, sea tears... [ Totally reciting from the CereVice-provided list, give or take a few. At least he's pretty much memorized it by now? ]

[Some of these things are not like the others??? Korra slants a look at him, leaning against the cart slightly.]

Human blood? Why would you even be selling that with the rest of that stuff?

[And what the heck are sea tears, does she even want to know?]

Came with the cart. [ He doesn't choose his stock, okay! ]

But, but it's okay! [ After giving Naga another pat, Ket picks up a bottle of human blood and shows Korra the label. ]

"No humans were harmed in the making of this beverage", see? [ It's in the small print. Trustworthy, right? ]

[It makes it even more suspicious, frankly. Korra eyeballs the small print before gesturing for Ket to put the bottle back.]

I guess it doesn't matter if they didn't harm anyone for it. [Instead, Korra plucks something else off the cart with curiosity. Might as well busy herself while Naga's bonding with her new friend, right?] "Sea Tears"? Is that just some fancy name for sea water?

Guess so. [ He shrugs, still fluffing Naga's fur. ] Aren't tears just salty water? [ Nodding at the bottle in Korra's hand, he grins. ]

Try it if you like! First bottle's free. Actually – everything is. For today, everything's free. [ Is his dog bias showing yet? ] Choose anything you want!

[Korra puts it back, laughing. Yep, it's definitely showing.]

Really? You sure that's good for business, Mr. Vendor? [And cue the realization that she still doesn't know his name.] You know what you should give me? How about a name so I don't have to make up something to call you?

[ He laughs with. ]

Ket. Ket Whiss. Just Ket's fine, no 'sir' needed. [ You know, he's not going to stop petting Naga unless she walks away. ]

I can make up lost credits in ViViD, no big. [ Said cheerfully. It's not false modesty; he genuinely doesn't mind. ]

[Though her laugh peters off, she's still smiling at him, head tilted slightly.]

Nice of you to offer, Ket. [Meanwhile, Naga's just soaking up the attention, even giving Ket a friendly lick right to the face.] Maybe I should bring Naga around here more since you guys are getting along so well.

Mmmmmph! [ Sorry Korra, it's a little hard to talk when you're being licked in the face. Ket's still laughing, though, clearly undeterred. ]

Yeah! Yeah, you should. I'd like that. [ His wallet won't, but not everyone can be a winner. ]

[Thankfully for his wallet, Korra's come a long way from her first day in Republic City and expecting everything to be free. Her smile turns a bit more contemplative.]
