What: The De-Stress party/Athena's birthday party

[ Welcome to the Little Sister Cosplay Cafe! Athena's rented the whole place (thanks for paying, Phoenix!) to celebrate her birthday, so there's a big signage outside in chalk which reads "De-stress party! Come inside!" So basically, anybody who checks the network should know what it means.

Upon entering, one will spot a bright yellow dessert buffet table, decorated with all sorts of yummy goodies that you can think of! It's a cafe, after all. The desserts are good.

When Athena spots you, she'll immediately bow and say "Welcome to the Little Sister!" and despite this being her party, you may find that she's the only one still in cosplay. Of course she can't ask her other coworkers to get dressed and serve anybody who comes by - they need some de-stressing, too! So it's just her as everybody's waitress and hostess for the day.

By one of the corners is a karaoke machine, and each table already has a menu on top of it. Feel free to order whatever you want! There's a wide selection of American, Italian, and Japanese cuisine, as well as some French desserts - although some are already laid out at the buffet table.

[ she takes a step back and starts punching at the air. ]

[ except she has no idea what to do yet. ]

I spoke in jest. Though with all that posturing, I half expected you to punish me in the name of some celestial object...

Come on, [ she takes is hand and pulls him towards a table ] take a seat and I'll get you some food.

If it's beyond your ken, you shouldn't be working in a place like this.

[Do none of you youngins understand a good anime reference when they hear one? Gosh. He doesn't sit down, though.]

[ it seems only phoenix has watched sailor moon amongst the wright anything agency. . . also??? sit down!! she's going to push him down. . . but like that would do anything, considering she's so tiny. ]

If you want to get me some food, you'll have to be in cosplay.

[ AS IF HE ISN'T ALREADY???? ]

[Trying to push him down has no effect whatsoever, something he looks rather smug about.]

Poor thing. You're so famished you can't see that I'm already dressed for the occasion.

[Is it cosplay if you always dress like a samurai whatever the occasion? But before she can answer, he's already heading over to the buffet table to pick out food for her.]

[ guess there's no use... she'll just take a seat and wait, then! though of course, she's greeted by some people while simon's away and she ends up getting up again. and because of that, she joins him at the buffet table because she said she'd get some food for the other guests. ]

You know, you look like you're in your usual pyjamas.

A jinbei is different from a kimono and hakama, Athena. [He has the good grace not to look too offended, but he's silently judging rn. He stops and turns to her.] Go sit down, will you? If you're concerned about your guests, I'll serve them.

[He hands her her own plate of food and shoos her off.]

[Once Blackquill's sure all her guests are happy, he'll fetch them both drinks and join her again.]

You could afford to stop rushing around for others at least one day of the year, you know.

Whether you're stressed is beside the point. [He sits down, and takes her hand.] You deserve to enjoy yourself, without any burdens.

[ she holds onto his hand tightly. ]

[He's not letting her scurry off at the first opportunity. How else will she have time to slow down and enjoy herself?]

Ryuko did say she'll help out in serving the guests, so I guess I should rely on her while I'm on break.

It's been far too long since I've been able to spend time with you on your birthday. I would not miss this one for anything.

I don't think it'll have anything to do with Earth stuff, though. But we can learn about Tellus, at least?

[He sits back a little. Seriously, Athena, don't shove stuff in his face like that!!]

Any CERES-owned planetarium will contain... limited information at best. But perhaps we'll learn something new.
