[ Welcome to the Little Sister Cosplay Cafe! Athena's rented the whole place (thanks for paying, Phoenix!) to celebrate her birthday, so there's a big signage outside in chalk which reads "De-stress party! Come inside!" So basically, anybody who checks the network should know what it means.

Upon entering, one will spot a bright yellow dessert buffet table, decorated with all sorts of yummy goodies that you can think of! It's a cafe, after all. The desserts are good.

When Athena spots you, she'll immediately bow and say "Welcome to the Little Sister!" and despite this being her party, you may find that she's the only one still in cosplay. Of course she can't ask her other coworkers to get dressed and serve anybody who comes by - they need some de-stressing, too! So it's just her as everybody's waitress and hostess for the day.

By one of the corners is a karaoke machine, and each table already has a menu on top of it. Feel free to order whatever you want! There's a wide selection of American, Italian, and Japanese cuisine, as well as some French desserts - although some are already laid out at the buffet table.

Come on, Cerealia! De-stress and cheer up again! ]

[Ami hasn't had any real chance to go to any social event since arriving thanks to being brought to Cerealia and then promptly plopped into a jungle. Still, at least this is for a friend. She's still a tiny bit awkward at these things, however, having never been to any outside of the senshi back home. She's currently examining the cafe and moving about to look at the food.

She supposed she shouldn't be surprised at how many people are here, Athena really is a lot like Usagi, welcoming everyone and anyone.]

My goodness, she must have invited all of Cerealia! [She tilted her head.]

[ Destress? What's that? It's definitely not something in Inaba's dictionary at all in the slightest bit. Rather, Inaba herself is here for the birthday girl's party - she even brought a present, too, which is slung under her arm. Surprisingly enough for this party, she's wearing bright yellow instead of her usual blacks and grays and neutrals. Huh.

Although she doesn't seem to be too cheered up - there's going to be a smile here and there, sure, but it's a tired one over an extremely happy one - at the very least she will try not be too tense.

Even though it is a party, she does have a notebook with her for taking down notes, though she might not actually use it... who knows. She will at least chat up some people if she sees them, even more so if she knows they aren't a part of the air crew, if only so she can touch base with them. But she'll chat about other things too! ]

[Rei's already going through the process of decompression, and the events of their return day had done wonders to smooth a lot of that over. An afternoon out with her two best friends the following day, and a few pleasant conversations had done wonders. Right along with the repeated baths.

When she arrives, presumably with Ami and Minako, she has a fairly large bag hanging from her shoulder, and she's put on her finest. It's not surprising that there are a lot of people here, given who the party is for...and the fact that everyone needs a party right about now...but what is surprising her is that she doesn't feel awkward being here.

Rei's more than happy to engage anyone who comes to her, and she's obviously found flitting near the food tables, nibbling here and there and enjoying tea and other finger foods.

Or perhaps you bump into her near the edges of the party, since she's not terribly good at crowds. Either way, Athena can be assured of a visit, as Rei had a very special gift in mind.

Or it's entirely possible that if she already knows you, Rei will just walk right on up.]

This is certainly some party, isn't it?

[ Ryuko arrives about half an hour later, having ran home from school to quickly get changed into a kimono before busting into the cafe, only to realize that this isn't a costume party despite their location of choice. Senketsu, of course, isn't being worn today, but he's clinging on to her with his sleeves, occasionally looking very animated for a school uniform. ]

Ehhh?!? I thought we were all supposed to dress up for this! Why didn't you tell me?!

(( Senketsu: I tried, but you looked so pleased with your choice. ))

Do I look happy now?! Gee, thanks! I look like an idiot who didn't get the memo!

(( Senketsu: I think you look cute, Ryuko. ))

Nngh--!!! Where's the buffet?!

[ She leaves him on a coat stand just for that comment as she navigates her way through the party, praying nobody else comments on her unusual outfit. ]

Ami! [ athena brightens up when she sees the senshi, and she bows again. ] How are you doing? Come sit!

[psycholawgy]

Woah, looking good!

[ inaba's clothing really is a change of pace, and athena can't help but compliment her. ]

And don't forget that it's your day off, alright? I'm the one in charge of getting everybody's orders.

[ things may have gotten a little awkward between the two, but athena can't help but react comically to ryuko. ]

U- Um, I didn't say it was a costume party?

[psycholawgy]

[ after welcoming rei and the others, she'll usher them to a table. ]

Awaiting your orders, ma'am! [ that is to say, please check the menu for the food. ]

[Ami bows back. She doesn't do hugging right away, unfortunately.] I'm really quite well, happy birthday, Athena-san.

[Her gift, combined with Rei and Minako's, was currently with Rei. But she was in a fairly nice dress, having no idea what the cafe was like and dressing up was never frowned upon.]

You look absolutely lovely! The center of attention, as the birthday girl should be.

[ ah, yes, compliment her more... ]

Aww, thank you! [ her hair is down, and she begins to brush a part of it with her fingers. ] But this party isn't just for me. It's so everybody can relax after the ordeals were all experienced.

[ It's okay, Athena, the reaction is equally comical on her part. ]

Wh-- but you're wearing one, too!!

It's my birthday party, so I can do whatever I want.

[ a beat. ]

Besides, I'm still on duty.

[faithfulflame]

[Rei clicks her tongue in amusement, waving a finger at Athena teasingly.]

Don't ma'am me, Athena-chan. You'll make me feel as old as you.

[She went there...]

You- You whippersnappers can be so impertinent!

[ sheds a tear. ]

Hah, that we can.

[Rei sets down the bag and reaches to squeeze Athena's wrist.]

Happy birthday, my dear new friend.

Aren't those completely two different things?

[ she waves a hand dismissively. ]

You make it sound like we only just met yesterday.

[ a beat. ]

I'm glad you could make it.

[psycholawgy]

Yeah, but I'm just explaining why things are this way.

[ she grabs the sides of her skirt and stretches them a bit, sort of showing off her dress. ]

Didn't we? Who are you again?

[Rei laughs lightly and shoves the bag over.]

I promised you I'd come and give you a better gift than any old snack cake. We all got you something together.

[We obviously referring to the sailor suited guardians of justice ]

[ It's Incomprehensible™, but good enough for Ryuko. ]

Is it really okay for the birthday girl to work, though?

[ omg rude?? she shoves rei roughly, because athena doesn't know how to be gentle. what a brute. ]

Oh, quit it! [ her tone is jolly, though. ] What'd you get me?

[ she checks the bag! ]

[ she nods, grinning. ]

Of course! I'm the only one on call, too.

But there's so many people tonight...

Can I help at least?

[ Because Ryuko doesn't know how to party. She doesn't know how to serve either, though. ]

[ grabby hands at. ]

Only if I get to dress you up!
