![]() You were always warned about the little things that go bump in the night, but you didn't believe them, did you? After all, ghosts don't exist, and things aren't really out to get you in the dark. As the month draws nearer to its final days, however, you're going to want to double check that belief of yours. On the eve of the 20th, continuing on, you'll feel the signs. It'll begin with a flicker, something barely noticeable. Conveniently, that day, the cinemas will start showing some creepy movies (maybe you'll have seen similar ones back home, or have you?) and you can access Ceres' TV stations- amazing show and movie line-up on their devices or TV screen. All seems to be normal, really... except for the weather that seems somewhat chilly and dismal throughout, with chances of storms every now and then. 'tis the season to be spooky, after all. It's just the weather being weird... Until you get the feeling that something is in your house... and you sure as heck didn't invite it in. How will you know? Well, you might hear it, whispering in your ear, or maybe see it as just appearing as part of that movie, or on a Holo-screen you're walking by, and disappearing as quickly as you hear or see it...

[And of course Mary's poor head was the recipient...]
You aren't dizzy or anything, are you?
no subject
no subject
Maybe you should just sit down until the dizziness goes away entirely. Um... Do you think you need a bandage?
[Where's Gil to determine these things when you need him!!]
no subject
no subject
It's fine! That's what they're for. [no?!] I think you're supposed to just keep pressure on it or something... [no...]
no subject
Pressure... [ okay, USING BOTH HANDS. ] Like this?
no subject
...Yes! That looks about right. [HE KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT FIRST AID.] Just don't press so hard that it bruises or something.
no subject
But nothing's attacked you?
no subject
[He's been blessed with a ghost that just sort of chucks bags of bread and empty cups at him UNLIKE SOME MARYS.]
Maybe it's better for you to stick close so you don't attract anything bigger.
no subject
[ It's a valid concern. ]
no subject
[He looks... so proud of himself.]
no subject
no subject
I don't think it's the best idea to practice something like that.

[MARY PLEASE.]
no subject
[ With a despondent sigh. She thought she'd had it! ]
no subject
Maybe you could just pretend things are flying at you. [Or she could take advantage of the ghosts!! But considering the damage they've already done...]
How's your head feeling? Any better?
no subject
[ promising? Yes, totally. ]
no subject
Try not to move it too much, anyway. [That sounds like a good thing to do in this situation, probably?!] What about standing? Do you think you can yet, or should we wait a little longer?
no subject
... I'm okay. [ She has survived the trashcanning. ]
no subject
Good! If you can walk, let's get out of this place before more things come flying this way.
[He's cursed them both now.]

no subject
Should we go to the park? Or maybe inside one of the shopping malls? That place down the center of the stores wouldn't have too much to dodge.

[And by "we" he means "Mary the attractor of all things heavy and damaging".]
Well! Let's get going, then. Are you steady on your feet?
