Who: The Ace Attorney cast + CR!
When: 4/19, afternoon and evening
Where: The function room of some restaurant in the Shopping District
What: Phoenix Wright, Miles Edgeworth, Klavier Gavin and Ema Skye are celebrating their birthdays in one big bash with all their friends.
Rating/Warning: Nobody’s getting murdered, so just Ace Attorney ridiculousness.
[ It was by sheer coincidence that the month of April had so many birthdays from people from the same world. Which meant that the best solution was to have the largest birthday party of all birthday parties. Or so was Klavier’s thinking. He knew that some part of the population was plagued with some weird disease that caused headache and fever, so the celebration was relatively low key.
But low key for Klavier would still be considered extravagant for others. He took the liberty of renting out a large room in one of Cerealia’s many restaurants and sent an invite to everyone who he could think of was in Cerealia and encouraged them to invite their friends. The more the merrier, as he said.
Because all of the people celebrating had some connection with the law, there was thus an appropriate cake. There was some confusion with the food because instead of ramen and burgers, there were ramen burgers instead being served on trays by waiters. Plus the drinks were unusually glimmerous, to say the least (but non alcoholic, of course.)
Aside from the food, there was music and even a piano in the back in case some people wanted to play. A gift table was set up so that people could leave their gifts, but good luck trying to find it. ]

[Larry is allowed. He's cool. He's also not anyone's dad, and literally everyone in this restaurant is grateful for that, surely. Leon grins back at him—for a second his eyes flick to the ramen burger, but that can wait like two seconds.]
Aaactually, I was hopin' I'd run into Trucy . . . heh! She's gotta be around somewhere!
[Okay that's enough not talking about the burger.]
—I've never seen one o' those in real life! I just went straight for the cake! I've gotta try it.

Ohhh, so you're crashin' the party, then. I like your style! Though you coulda just asked me for an official invite, ya know.
[This is probably going to get awkward if people are listening in and hear about Larry's guesses. Oops.
But Leon takes Larry's thoughts off of that for a moment by bringing up the ramen burger. With a smile, he holds it up so Leon can get a better look.]
Pretty impressive, right? You'd think the combo wouldn't work, but it's totally delicious!

[And those are already a problem. But ohhhh man. That looks incredible. Leon glances at his plate of cake . . . and the siren call of cake just can't compare to the siren call of beef. He gets up from his chair, eyes on the prize.]

[He's only a few bites in though, so who knows what could end up happening later. Those tightly-packed noodles can't hold the entire time, can they...?
But wow, that didn't take much persuading at all! Larry gives Leon a knowing nod, leaning back to enjoy his own burger while Leon heads off for his.]
A wise choice, dude. That cake might be tasty, but it doesn't hold a candle to these bad boys.

[He says, as he heads back over immediately with a plate and a ramen burger on it, and then takes his seat again.]
Except those two foods are actually a lot more alike than cake and ramen burgers. Weird, huh? Who even came up with that? Hadn't they ever had any food more opposite than apples and oranges? Man, it's dumb the more you think about it.

He sits back and stares down his burger. Hmmm. It looks awesome . . . but Leon has trouble with burgers even at the best of times, and this is like Expert Mode Burger. Unless it's actually easier somehow? Maybe this is the solution to burger problems he's been waiting for all along?! Suck it, America, Japan hacked your messy-ass Western food staple! In your face!
Okay, he should probably at least pick it up before he gloats.]

[At least Leon seems to be sharing his deep thoughts with the right person in this case. Such profound thoughts, too!
As he raises his burger for another bite, he notices Leon contemplating his. So he holds it out to show Leon the perfect form of gripping a ramen burger.]
It works best when you cup it in your hand like this! The noodles are crunchy enough where they don't flop all over the place when you pick it up.
[That'd be like, the messiest and most useless burger ever if they did that.]</small.

[He gives it a try. Hey, look at that, it's holding together! There's a method to this madness! How do they do it? Does it matter? Probably not; Leon's not going to question it too hard if it works. Now if only it stays this way for the whole thing, that is definitely burgers solved. And delicious.
Well, probably. He holds it up like he's toasting, then tries a bite. It's a delicate maneuver, but ultimately successful, for now.
