[ So while you're walking about, enjoying or hating your day, you will encounter a dog. This dog will, as adorable corgis do, perform one of the following feats:

a.) Steal whatever you're holding for a game of Keep Away. Don't think that being tall will save you, he's got quite the spring in his hind legs.

b.) Drop whatever thing he's picked up (ball, wadded up paper, someone's high heel) and wait expectantly for you to play fetch with him.

c.) Bark. And roll over. This means love him.

d.) Trip you. It's probably unintentional.

Whatever he does, at least you'll hear two voices (familiar or not) clamoring in the distance for "Zweeeeeeeeeeeeeei!" and then Yang and Ruby will be heading in your direction at high speed.

Whatever you do, don't grab the dog and run. They may not know who you are, but they will find you. And they will kill you.

Or at least make you regret it. ]

I'm a seraph. Specifically, a water seraph, as that's my element. The seraphim aren't normally seen by humans without resonance, which requires high spirituality. For the most part, normal humans only see me in ViViD or on the CERES network, but sometimes my 'code' for that ability stops working.

[Mikleo thinks about Ruby's question, though.]

Well, if the monsters in your world act anything like us, then that could explain it. Or you have abilities that are close enough to my world's magic that you can see us.

Huh... I wonder.

[She can't really be sure, but in the end she just shrugs.]

Maybe it's because of our Auras! I mean--most people here don't have them, right? Or they have them but they haven't tapped into them so like... we're more... attuned! Yeah!

I guess that could be it. I mean, it's basically using your soul, so... souls are... spiritual?

That's probably close enough to how we use magic to make it so that you can see us. Either way, at least I don't have to talk to you through the CereVice while I'm standing in front of you. Or get Sorey to help out.

Yeah, you could say that.

[It's why she always thinks about them, anyway; it's one of those things that just happens. She nods thoughtfully, considering.]

It's sort of like... colors are supposed to remind us that...we're all individuals but we should work together too, and preserve...good things and...yeah!

I think I understand. [Kinda. Sorta. Maybe.] It's comparable to your fighting styles, right? You have your individual style or color scheme, but it becomes something even more unique when you learn to coordinate them with your team.
