undaunts and YOU! (Tagging order will be You-Ruby-Yang!)

What: In which a corgi rains terror over the populace
Rating/Warning: C for CORGIIIIIIII

[ So while you're walking about, enjoying or hating your day, you will encounter a dog. This dog will, as adorable corgis do, perform one of the following feats:

a.) Steal whatever you're holding for a game of Keep Away. Don't think that being tall will save you, he's got quite the spring in his hind legs.

b.) Drop whatever thing he's picked up (ball, wadded up paper, someone's high heel) and wait expectantly for you to play fetch with him.

c.) Bark. And roll over. This means love him.

d.) Trip you. It's probably unintentional.

Whatever he does, at least you'll hear two voices (familiar or not) clamoring in the distance for "Zweeeeeeeeeeeeeei!" and then Yang and Ruby will be heading in your direction at high speed.

Whatever you do, don't grab the dog and run. They may not know who you are, but they will find you. And they will kill you.

Or at least make you regret it. ]

Oh, hey, Minato!

[She recognizes him, at least; jungleventures made a pretty strong impact, even if the last time she saw him he was getting chomped.

Good thing he looks less chomped now.]

Yep, that's Zwei! Isn't he cute? He came with us from home.

Yo! [ Hey there, jungle buddy. ] You're looking pretty happy, Minato. Did our puppy bring some joy into your life?

Hey, Ruby, Yang. [Not only does he look 100% less chomped, he's in great condition from having some much needed rest- well, in comparison to how Minato usually looks like.]

Sure has. I had a dog back at home too, but he's not quite what I'd call a pet since he was part of our team- still cute though. [This is followed by Minato petting Zwei's head- who's a good dog? He is!]

Awww, what's his name?

[Ruby likes dogs, learning about more dogs is always a good thing. Even as Zwei pants happily, wagging his tail. Yes, he's a good dog!! He's definitely a good dog! Let him show you, he'll dance in a happy doggy circle.]

And tell it to us straight-- is he at least this cute?

[ Zwei's tough to beat, though. ]

His name's Koromaru. [And Minato smiles, clearly amused by Zwei's happy doggy dance.] He's not quite as excitable as Zwei is, but he's cute in his own way- we tried going to the movies once and got kicked out, so I promised to get the DVD for him.

Good answer.

[Now both dogs are cute.

But Ruby's snorting a little, because--]

You tried to take a dog to the movies?

[as if you have room to talk, Ruby]

Maybe there are movie theaters here that let dogs in...

[ HMMMMMM. ]

It was worth a try. I tried convincing the usher that he was a live-sized doll, but I guess that wasn't going to work out... [It says a lot about Minato that he thinks people bring enough plush dolls to cinemas that it could be remotely possible to entertain.

He tilts his head a little hearing what Yang has to say.]

You think that would work if I had Koromaru here?

You are a very strange person.

[Quite frankly. She just felt like Minato needed to know that right now.]

But I don't think people care what we do here, honestly. Like...at all.

Not like you're any less weird, Ruby... [ But she's also right. ]

But yeah, I bet it'd be fine here.

[The point is taken and summarily ignored with a light shrug, as Minato's one of the last people would be bothered by someone calling him strange. He gives Zwei a quick scratch behind the ears by way of a pause before replying.]

I get that a lot. Guess I know what to do if Koromaru is ever sent here...first the movies, then I'm bringing him to see all of you- he'd like that.

I bet Zwei would like that too!

[She's down for that.]

Then they could have doggy play dates--twice the fluffy!

I'd be okay with that. This place needs more cute dogs!

[ Like. A million of 'em. ]

Doggy play dates? I'm not sure if Koromaru would be down with that, but he'd probably like being friends with Zwei. [And now Minato's picking the corgi up, carrying him gently in his arms.]

How did he escape, anyway? He must be pretty quick if he could get away from the both of you.

Well you seeeee, there was the sewing bot with the scissors, and then the Cerealia Motorcycle gang, and before you knew it, here we were!

[That explained nothing.]

You forgot the part where you got lime juice in your eye.

[ Also explaining nothing. ]

[That certainly explains nothing, and Minato's smile slowly turns into a puzzled frown as he holds Zwei a little tightly with arms crossed.]

...That explained nothing. So you're saying Zwei escaped when the both of you had to stop because of the bot and the gang, and Ruby got lime juice in her eye? [It's okay Minato, you really don't need to make sense out of it.]

It's a long story, but Zwei's fine, and we're fine, so no harm done!

[ YEP. ]

Silly Minato... [He's mumbling it to himself as Zwei wags his tail and barks happily which naturally drowns out his mumbling, but at least he's definitely not offended.]

Whatever actually happened I'm glad you two are fine. ...Do you want him back now?

Oh, it's fine if you wanna play with him for awhile.

In faaaact... why don't you walk him with us?

We'll get him back on his leash, he shouldn't try to book it again!

[ Probably. ]

Sure, I'd like that- here. [Minato's pleased to hear their offer, and thankfully he's not so surprised as to drop Zwei, setting the corgi down beside them gently.]

I don't think he'd run away again...he seems to be having fun like this.

[And Ruby just nods at that, shooting Zwei a look.]

Yeah... he's kind of happy when he has attention. Show-off.
