[ So while you're walking about, enjoying or hating your day, you will encounter a dog. This dog will, as adorable corgis do, perform one of the following feats:

a.) Steal whatever you're holding for a game of Keep Away. Don't think that being tall will save you, he's got quite the spring in his hind legs.

b.) Drop whatever thing he's picked up (ball, wadded up paper, someone's high heel) and wait expectantly for you to play fetch with him.

c.) Bark. And roll over. This means love him.

d.) Trip you. It's probably unintentional.

Whatever he does, at least you'll hear two voices (familiar or not) clamoring in the distance for "Zweeeeeeeeeeeeeei!" and then Yang and Ruby will be heading in your direction at high speed.

Whatever you do, don't grab the dog and run. They may not know who you are, but they will find you. And they will kill you.

Or at least make you regret it. ]

[ Kousetsu has no chill it is a known fact. Kousetsu will hear those whispers or at least he will sense that there are people nearby as he turns around to regard the two of them then. ]

I am sorry. Is he...yours? [ Kousetsu will look down at Zwei again with a small nod. He is a very good dog, Kousetsu approves. ]

[ACK. He might've heard them... Ruby gives Yang a panicked glance before she clears her throat.]

Ahem...! Er--yes he's our Zwei! I mean, um. He's our dog. Whose name is Zwei.

[ SMOOTH, RUBY. Yang's look says as much, and then she's quickly smiling. ]

Yep, all ours! Sorry if he was bugging you.

[ Kousetsu nods in acknowledgement. Totally oblivious to the awkward, or perhaps he's just used to it being like this. His face shows no indication of either?! Lineface to the extreme. ] He was...doing no such thing.

[ He'll give Zwei one or two more pets before standing up straight again. ] He is a very good dog. I...have not seen many here that were not cybuddies.

[ It's nice to know there are some real animals around not focused on maiming and eating them. Though he's silent for a long moment before looking back at Ruby and Yang. ]

His name...what does it mean?

[S-so lineface....... Ruby's in awe.]

Oh, it means "two".

[Yeah.

That's... that's a great name for a dog. Ruby clearly sees no problem with this.]

He was probably the second-born.

[ Yep. No problems here. ]

[ Continue to be so because he doesn't even smile at that joke?! Kousetsu no. ]

...I see. I...have not seen many dogs that were not cybuddies. It is...pleasing to know that there are animals around not from here.

[ And he can pet Zwei all he likes without dying. ]

Yeah, I noticed that. It's kind of weird, but a few people have dogs around here! You could probably go ask on the network, just like "Hey can I pet your dogs" and people would show up with weird animals all of a sudden.

Yeah, there's... what, at least two other people with dogs around here? You should ask!

...I do not want to act strangely. [ He frowns. It might come off a little weird if he just said he wanted to do that after all. ]
