[In this nifty little space, I'm going to mention that Sousei and Tenka used the HOLO(gm) to make the entire apartment look closer to the shrine, complete with sliding screen doors and tatami mats. They tossed all of the chairs out the window and proceeded to get really low tables and cushions so that they could sit around as they normally do.

The kitchen is the only modern-looking part of the apartment because they realized that as much as they fail at cooking, what they have is already better than the kitchen of the shrine. They also bought a rice cooker because that's pretty important.

For now, everyone has their own room. Subject to change if this family gets bigger or they decide to knock down a wall to the next apartment over. Who knows, maybe that'll happen on accident.

Lastly, they kept the couch. Because Tenka liked it and he still claims to be The Rule.]

[ okay... she'd heard about the being taken in by tenka's family and all that, but she won't ask further given sousei didn't really elaborate on that. she has her respect for whatever little privacy he has sometimes.

[Nah Milla, the little shit face is the one where Sousei actually smiles and gets all overconfident and dumb. But Tenka's just snorting faintly at that and shaking his head fondly.]

That's because his entire being is annoying.... but he's not that bad. You could do worse for a friend, I guess.

If there's nothing to make fun of, then he probably wouldn't say anything.

[WELL, hope you guys don't mind that this heartfelt chat is going to be interrupted, but tea only takes so long to make. He returns, carefully carrying three cups, and sets them down on the table properly, two on one side, the other on the other.

They can sit properly at the table!!

On the mats on the ground, instead of on the couch.

Which is where he's settling himself next (on the side with one cup), as if he didn't hear a single word they were saying (and it's hard to say if he did or didn't).]

[ see, she was going to respond to that but sousei takes that opportunity to walk right in. the words die then, and anything she's about to say is filed away with a bit of a glance sideways, away from sousei. so transparent that they were talking about him, honestly... yet there's something embarrassing about almost being caught mid-talk by the person you're discussing.

at least she moves over to the table, taking her own seat on a mat. ]

[Tenka, meanwhile, couldn't care less if Sousei heard anything that he said. It was all very truthful after all. It's just how it goes.

Either way he's going to plop himself a seat the table next, merrily and bringing the oreos and salsa over there instead!! This is going to be the worst idea in the world but that's okay because at least they have tea to wash it down.]

Not bad, Sousei-kun. Maybe next you can figure out how to make actual food.
