[In this nifty little space, I'm going to mention that Sousei and Tenka used the HOLO(gm) to make the entire apartment look closer to the shrine, complete with sliding screen doors and tatami mats. They tossed all of the chairs out the window and proceeded to get really low tables and cushions so that they could sit around as they normally do.

The kitchen is the only modern-looking part of the apartment because they realized that as much as they fail at cooking, what they have is already better than the kitchen of the shrine. They also bought a rice cooker because that's pretty important.

For now, everyone has their own room. Subject to change if this family gets bigger or they decide to knock down a wall to the next apartment over. Who knows, maybe that'll happen on accident.

Lastly, they kept the couch. Because Tenka liked it and he still claims to be The Rule.]

[Tenka's a stupidly loud gamer and no one's surprised, he's cackling as he speeds past Sousei after he ran into the wall.

Then he's also going through pretty much the same process - he figured out which one made him stop a while earlier - and he thinks he's in a pretty good place to use the boost

except suddenly the course makes a sharp turn and tenka's careening his car off a bridge]

What?!

[Sousei doesn't give an undignified laugh or anything of the sort like Tenka as he gets back on track and more cautiously passes Tenka up.

But.

He just snort under his breath, expression more entertained than anything.

Tenka's just going to huff at that and once he's back on the track he's charging forward and focusing really hard on catching back up

and also not so gently bumping shoulders with sousei

the worse thing is that he's not even doing it on purpose, he's just so into this game]

[He actually fumbles the controller at that, and even though he catches it, he's scowling a little.]

Regardless, somehow it's the last lap.

And they're making some form of progress. And Sousei totally bumps Tenka's car with his own (it may or may not be an accident who knows).]

[and Tenka's response to that is to bump Sousei's shoulders with his own

[Sousei that probably isn't a good life choice when Tenka has quite a bit of weight on you.

Which he's now throwing in Sousei's direction even as he stares down the screen.

[SHHHH. Though that does shove him right over, and he can't quite see the screen as he's shoved over on the couch--]

[He can't even see who won but he was sure to keep holding down A]

Admittedly Tenka didn't expect Sousei to actually topple down and now he's just going to flop right on top of him. Sorry about his weight, partner. Except not because this is your fault.

In his surprise Tenka totally lost grip on his controller though.

So when he lifts his head and sees the screen and it says that Sousei's the winner-]

No fair, you cheated!!

[HRGH... now he's got Tenka sprawled on top of him on the couch, and there's an elbow in his gut, and immediately he reaches up with a hand to shove Tenka's face away.]

[HOW COULD HE POSSIBLY HAVE CHEATED WHEN YOU'RE STILL IN THE ACT OF CHEATING RIGHT NOW.]

[if tenka was a dumber and more childish man, he would like sousei's hand

but since we're not quite there yet, he's just letting himself be shoved off and making a face at the screen]

[God that's gross don't do that.

Sousei just arches an eyebrow at that, looking mostly unimpressed, even as he rights himself.]

You were the one who was cheating. Now that you're eating your words, you're blaming the game?

[Which is at least.... true.... Tenka typically doesn't bother cheating when playing games.]

Perhaps. [You never know... he wants to spar with the Shinsengumi, at least he knows they would be a challenge--

But then there's a game in his face.

He pushes it down, frowning.]

I have no idea. They were included--I did not pick them out.

But oh well, Tenka's down for an adventure and now he's putting that disc instead. But he at least thinks to put the first one away too, amazing....]

[All he cared about was Tenka not brooding, not about the games.

But Sousei just picks up his controller again, watching it load up. It's...so loud and colorful, why...]

[It's.... really loud and colorful, oh okay.... Tenka blinks and then experimentally presses A.

And then there's a loud booming noise and he's jumping a little?!]
