What: While trying to find some way to contribute to her living situation, Rin runs into Naruto and. You know.

[ A lot of the jobs here didn't interest her too much, but if she was going to contribute then what better way than try to soak up whatever free stuff she could get? Dressed differently than her usual skirt and twintails, she wanders around while blowing unnecessarily large bubbles with her gum. She's just about given up until: ]
Yo Fox Boy! [ Screaming for him, she waves a hand ecstatically in the air. ] Are you ignoring me? That's no way to treat a potential partner in yiffing!

There was a war going on and I helped people get there so that they could participate in it. [ Bringing a hand to start braiding her hair lightly in nervousness. ] That sounds horrible.

[ There's a small sound from the normally loud blonde as he heard her words.
Well, it's not as if he's familiar with the concept of war, having fought in one. Sure it's against corpses of undead people who still had their soul asking to put them to rest once more, but it was still horrifying to some of his friends who had to go through that.
...Then again it's not as if he's unfamiliar with the concept of death already, having seen a bunch of it in his life. ]

[ She's seen that look in the eyes of the men she's surrounded herself with before. Regret, pain, and loss all shoved away in the back of their minds with the same results. The distant look in their eyes as they tried to ward off that guilt. ]
Come on. [ Suddenly she's reaching for his hand with both of her hand, fingers working to intertwine within his. ] Let's go on a date and forget about all this stuff.

[ While her words had the effect of pulling him off from that distant look almost instantly, it did cause him to make him sputter a bit. ]

[ So it looks like the old hag has nice qualities as well. Actually, she's kind of reminding him of someone else and that kind of hurts internally because he's the only one from his world that's here.
But that's easy to hide with just his usual confused face as it's a different problem that's more personal to him. He just lets Rin pull him as he has no idea where she's going to lead him. ]

[ It's sad, but her biggest desire is to be yanked around by someone better versed in the matter of dating. Of course it would be her luck she'd pick up such a newbie. ]

[ He had asked Sakura numerous times but with all the rejections he had it's... just unfortunate that he actually doesn't know what a true date actually is.
The one time she expressed interest in him was a lie and an outlier and shouldn't be counted. ]

...but she's all smiles nonetheless. Her toothy grin isn't a honest one, but if he's too stupid to land a date on his own, then he's too stupid to figure that out. Her plan is simple. She'll get him to pay, and then later on brag to Archer about how she ate out away from home because his food was making her sick. ]

Landing onto a roof, he then jumped again, this time covering a huge horizontal distance as he just leaped from roof to roof with ease, as he just makes his way through the district at record time. ]

[ He smirked a bit. The smile was telling and even if she's just hiding it behind barbed words, it's easy to read her moods. She might fake things up a bit sometimes, but reading her is just as easy as opening a book to be honest. ]

[ Finding several two storied houses, he's going to just jump towards one of the horizontal walls surrounding those houses and runs on the wall as if there's no problems at all.

[ Unknown to her, aside from the ramen place he hit a dead end in terms of ideas and not wanting to look like a loser after this, he decided to just show off while occasionally pulling his left hand back. As well as staring down for a few seconds.
Rin might probably think that this is just some of his movement tics but actually...
He's texting while performing a high speed maneuver that might kill them if he slightly misses. But it's kind of trivial since he's used to moving like this normally anyways. ]

[ Admittedly she isn't paying much attention to his gestures in order to focus on not getting sick. Sure she's not afraid of heights, but this is a lot of movement for someone who hasn't traveled at these speeds before. ]

[ Slowing down now, he's just jogging on the wall instead, buying time as he texts with a friend of his. Still, with her looks and attitude, he'd have thought that she'd be someone like Sakura. Good with books and popular at school, but...

I just had no interest in my classmates because they were bland NPCs programmed to flesh out the environment. Those who weren't became participants in the Holy Grail War and were eliminated.
