Who: Minato Arisato (With a Koromaru cameo) and you!

What: Minato has a new companion, and he decides to show him around the block and kick back a little

[Minato's not the most avid ViViD player, but he's saved up points here and there having nothing to spend it on, and he can't say he expected his single request to be fulfilled.

At least not by finding it barking from the top of a tree. How did Koromaru even get up there?

Seeing his old friend reminds Minato of happier times right when things don't seem to be looking up regardless, and in taking delight in something as simple as touching Koromaru's fur he feels as if his troubles have lessened- they're not gone, but they feel less like a burden.]

A - 1. Around the city

[Minato's only been able to take Koromaru out at night most of the time before this, and it feels like a nice change of pace taking the Shiba Inu out for a walk in the morning and afternoon whenever he doesn't have work. Those who have spoken to him recently might notice that he seems more energetic, more like his usual self than a few days before this and being unusually chatty with Koromaru.

A - 2. Around the city...park

[That being said Minato might be surprisingly energetic for someone who looks on the verge of falling asleep all the time, but keeping up with Koromaru constantly is tiring and some of their walks take them back to the park where they found each other. The warm weather is inviting and one might find Minato dozing off below the shade with a dog beside him, ears pricking up and getting up when he hears someone approaching.

He tilts his head and watches curiously- what will you do?]

B. Little Sister Cosplay Cafe

[Work still calls though, and Minato's nothing if not efficient even if he has his doubts about two accessories that come with the job. Those visiting the cosplay cafe will find him donning a waiter's outfit, along with a pair of black cat ears and a black cat tail if they look closely. For the most part he's polite and calm, bowing his head as he welcomes visitors.]

Good afternoon...let me show you to your seat.

[But one might wonder if he's a little too quick to get out of sight. Is being formal part of his job?]

C. Arcades

[Last but not least Minato's always been more comfortable with traditional arcades than ViViD, and he might be found here occasionally. He can be seen being intensely focused in trying not to crash a train playing one of them, only to stare flatly at the screen when he fails and mutter something that sounds like it's been the fifth time. Should your character approach he'll sit up, as if he has something to ask of them.]

Do you want to give it a try? There's other games too...we could play together.

[Angelo was always about taking walks in the park, it was one way to keep up his physical training without doing much. Upon seeing Minato and his little dog, he returns the dog's head tilting with one of his own. Since when did the guy own a dog? Though he really doesn't know that much about him since their last meeting, perhaps he is a dog lover. Well whatever. He slowly goes towards the dog while pulling something out of his pocket, it looks like some kind of snack food which resembled potato chips. Maybe the dog will like these?]

[Koromaru eyes the snack curiously before stepping forward and sniffing it. He's an intelligent animal and he's heard enough from the other SEES members to know that these things aren't good for him, but a little snack certainly can't hurt and he sits up attentively as if he's asking for it politely.

Minato is completely oblivious to this little exchange, still sleeping like a log.]

Here you go little guy. [He holds out a handful of potato chips for Koromaru to snack on while he looks over Minato. Boy, that guy can sure sleep if it means anything.]

I wonder why he's so tired, but this does give me an idea... [He even has a very small yet devious grin on his face.]

[moribound]

[Koromaru accepts the snacks gladly, tugging on the stack until it falls on the grass so that he can snack on them. He's pretty quick about it too, wagging his tail faintly and looking up at Angelo questioningly once he's done.

That look. What's this guy up to?]

[He sits down next to Minato and leans over to start poking his face with one finger. This is mostly to see how Minato reacts and some weird curiosity. Maybe the other will wake up? Who knows.]

[moribound]

[Koromaru pads over to Minato's side while Angelo's poking him, appearing to be just as curious about this as Angelo is.

It does nothing though, so Koromaru helps out with a loud bark and a lick on Minato's face which does startle him into getting up.]

Koromaru? [He notices Angelo next and stares, wondering what Angelo's doing being so close to him.] Oh, it's you. Did you do something to me?

[Angelo pulls back and sits down next to where Minato was laying, he even gives him a small wave in greeting him.]

It's Angelo not you. [He's just teasing him, but whatever. Though he does shake his head.] Not really. I was passing by and saw you and your dog here, I also didn't know you frequented here or that you had a dog in the first place.

[moribound]

Angelo then. [He sits up and stretches his hands, yawning as he does so.] Koromaru isn't my dog though...he's a friend of mine and we fought together back home.

[Koromaru's pleased to see Minato being awake again, and he wags his tail as if confirming what he said.] Arf! [Minato might be gone in his time, but any time they can spend together here will be cherished.]

You have a dog for a friend? That's... interesting to say the least. Not to mention he knows how to fight as only dog-like monsters are actual fighters in my world.

[He looks down at Koromaru again to examine him a bit more before turning back to Minato.]

By the way I don't think ever thanked you properly for helping me during that attack from the ghosts, so thanks. If you ever need me for something, I'm more than willing to help too.

It's a long story. [One Minato's not inclined to tell when he's just woken up and would rather be sprawled down on the grass than sitting on it while brushing stray blades off his hair.]

And it's not a problem. You saved me too, I was just returning the favor.

Well when you feel like telling it, I'll listen.

[Angelo is not one to push people if they don't feel like talking about things, so he leaves it at that. He does however reply to Minato's other words.]

And now I'm returning it back, so feel free to let me know when you need help or something.

Sure. [Koromaru's bounded over to Minato by now, and he's sitting on Minato's lap while being petted.]

I must have slept for quite a while...Koromaru wants to walk some more so I should be going. [Arf! That's exactly why he woke Minato up in the first place and he leaps off as soon as he hears the word 'walk'.]

[He's watching Koromaru get all excited and leap off. He might even chuckle a little.]

You know I could always walk with you both as I was on one of my own walks simply for exercise.

[moribound]

[Minato looks down at Koromaru as if he's asking for his opinion, nodding seconds after when the dog fails to object. He even seems quite happy to be walking with someone else.]

Sure, I don't mind. Do you come by here often?

[Angelo watches the exchange between the two, a bit unsure how he feels about a dog who seems to understand human speech. However, he does respond to Minato's question.]

I do. It's good getting out and exercising, especially for me.

[moribound]

[Given the kind of time Angelo's from Minato shouldn't find it all that surprising anyway that he likes to go for a walk, and he calmly tucks his hands into his pockets before he starts to walk himself, a casual amble that makes it seem as if he has all the time in the world.]

I took Koromaru out for walks at night too. We'd sometimes meet with friends and talk for a while before going back.

[The knight wouldn't admit it, but he was a little jealous of Minato's life. It sounded so normal and peaceful, something he's known very little of.]

Your way of life seem so normal compared to mine. Was it the same back where you're from too?

[moribound]

[That's only because Minato's not about to talk about all the horrific things he's seen in his life.]

Mostly. Koromaru and I were also part of a team that fought against monsters known as Shadows, and most people have no idea they even existed.

[Koromaru's trotting along, ears upright in interest as there isn't much to see around here.]

[At least Angelo will do Minato the favor and not share anything from his life either, especially horrific or awful experiences.]

Sounds exciting yet also kind of boring. If there's shadows, surely there's someone leading them. Like a being of darkness?

[moribound]

['Boring' isn't the word he'd use for anything remotely related to Shadows, but Minato completely understands that reaction considering he didn't mention what else they could do.]

There wasn't anyone leading them, but that's all I can say. [It's hard to tell due to his lack of inflection, but they're approaching issues he doesn't want to talk about and he's just going to drop the matter.] Was there something like that where you were from?

Sort of. I was on my way to defeat the Lord of Darkness and his minions who came flooding out of the World of Darkness with my companions then I was brought here. They're absolutely hopeless without me there unfortunately and CERES seems more interested in darkness covering my world completely.

[That last part was him being sarcastic, buuut he's kind of annoyed at CERES anyway.]

[moribound]

[And Minato can understand that, since he just got done saving the- well no, more like he just got done before being brought here.]

I think CERES is more interested in keeping all of us in the dark than doing something about our worlds...I don't think time passes while we're gone though, since no one seems to mention their friends being missing when they come here.

[playboyknight]

[He can't help chuckling a bit at Minato's words and retorts.]

If I ever get sent home and somehow manage to return here, you'll be the first person I contact about that. Especially if I come back here as an old man while everyone remains the same.
