Where: A large booth at the CERES Academy cultural festival
What: Rise's holding a special event to help bring people together at the cultural festival! This may be chaotic

[The cultural festival at the school has been in full-on planning mode for a few weeks. Rise is no exception to the planning and included in the flyers that have gone up is a notice printed on bright pink paper and bold lettering for a very special event.

The booth itself has been set up with a small cluster of tables to accommodate for the amount of people who have been signed up and even for a few last-minute sign-ups. The tables themselves have been decorated with special candles and a tray containing two bowls, two spoons, and a a tray with all the ingredients needed for an ice cream sundae.

At the front of the booth is a collection of heart-shaped name tags with all of the names of each individual whose signed up, along with a number attached. Rise will smile at each person, handing both the name tag and a small envelope to them with instructions not to open it until she says so.

It’s only when everyone has arrived and is crowded inside the booth that she pulls out a megaphone (and really, who gave her that?) and she turns it on.]

Hello ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to the Cerealia School Speed-Matching event! Meeting people can be really hard here, but don’t worry, we’re making it easy! You’ll see that the tables all have numbers assigned to them. On my count, open your envelopes and see who you’re starting with. When the bell rings, switch partners! Seems pretty simple, huh?

[Nobody gets to get a say in this apparently, but they may see one Yu Narukami who’s sitting on the table behind Rise just watching everyone casual as can be. Why is he wearing glasses? Who knows.]

Okie dokie! Let’s get this show on the road! On your mark…get set…open!

[Hope you’re ready, colonists. Inside each envelope is a starter number for the first match, and also a list of starter questions for asking people about themselves. Some people have lists corresponding with the speed dating route, while others are for the “friends only” route. But wait…what’s that? Some of those lists are crosswired? Your character would try to mingle with everybody and flirt anyway? Well hey. At least people will be talking and mingling.

Oh, and don’t mind the people who may wander in and out of the event. Rise will try to moderator the event to her best ability but hey, she’s pretty social herself. Some people are bound to slip in and out under her watch. Have fun! And remember, beware of the bell! (Or Rise announcing "SWITCH" in a loud voice via megaphone, same thing.)]

It's about the closest thing I have to a party trick. Though that is mostly because I don't indulge in simple tricks.

[ Giorno can get behind that and when the question came around to him... His immediate thought was that he can shove his entire ear into the ear hole. But quite frankly compared to what Archer put on the table that was kind of lacking.

So he'll pick one of the spoons off of the table. ]

I can turn this spoon into a snake.

[ No immediate demonstration since snakes weren't exactly on the same level as bees or butterflies. ]

A living snake?

[That sounds, well...impossible.]

You do that and I'll make you your sword of choice, a pick from whatever legend you want.

[ Giorno hadn't expected to get anything out of this but seeing that he'll get a free sword out of it, who is he to say no? Especially if it really is a replica of a sword of legend. Not too many people can boast that.

So without further ado, the spoon in Giorno's hand starts to warp and change into a weird blob in his grip before slowly taking shape into a small corn snake coiled around his hand. Fork tongue immediately tasting the air around them. ]

[That earns an actual blink from Archer. And he holds out his hands.]

I want to hold it, just to see if this isn't some illusion.

If you want, I will only caution that you not harm the snake.

[ And with that Giorno carefully deposits the snake into Archer's hand where it slithers around and gets situated in it's new environment. Tongue still flickering out every so often.

It's definitely a real live snake with real weight and everything. ]

[Thankfully, he didn't have any want to harm innocent creatures, even if he had a different view of humans.

Still...it was definitely real in his hands. Which was natural in one way and not in another. He sets it on the table so the snake can do what it wants.]

I've experienced an eternity and can say I've never seen something like that. I'll admit that I didn't expect to have to hold up my end of the bargain but it looks like I'll have to. Even so, I'd be careful with a 'trick' like that. The more religious types might find it an offense.

[ Once on the table, the snake will just casually explore their table and see what's interesting. Though, it'll want to return towards Giorno. ]

They should be fine given that I can't turn water into wine. [ But he could cure the blind, probably. He has never tried nor has it ever really occurred to him trying. Still, the tone is light disregarding the fact he just joked with a guy who claimed to have experienced an eternity.... ]

If you could, I'd like to see you replicate Crocea Mors. That should be acceptable, right?

That ability goes a little bit beyond that, I hope you understand.

[More into God territory as opposed to Jesus. Creation of life wasn't to be taken lightly.]

...an interesting choice of weaponry. And probably a predecessor to King Arthur's Excalibur. But considering his involvement in the invasion of Briton, it can't be discounted.

[Archer holds out his hand. In a shining light, a sword forms, which he drops on the table.]

It'll vanish in a couple hours. A weapon this powerful, well, copies can't last forever.

I can, but I assure you that my abilities are nowhere near as impressive. [ God, now there's truly dangerous territory. Though his tone doesn't change too much, just dropping the somewhat carelessness, as he watches the sword be formed out of nothing and dropped onto the table. The corn snake slithering away quickly from anything that would harm it. ]

...you may have just warned me about my own abilities but seeing something like this is impressive as well. Did it just appear from nothing?

[ He tests the sword by touching it. It's a lot more than he could have imagined. Honestly he was expecting something a little bit smaller. More manageable. ]

From nothing? No, it's more of a magical process. Saying much more than that will invite an explanation I don't wish to give.

[At least he's honest about it?]

[ And Giorno can respect that honesty. ]

That's fair. [ He's still going to marvel at the sword and now be a little unsure if he should really take it for himself. It was going to disappear in a matter of hours anyway. ]

Do you have another question to ask? Or shall I go down the list?

I don't have any questions but I suppose it's my turn either way.

[He peers at his own list.]

What would you take with you on a desert island?

[ Oh this question...HMM. ]

It depends what the island had itself but I'd say I'd take a boat.

[ That... That isn't how this question should be answered but here he is. Answering it like that. ]

[Archer likes practical answers though. Much better than dreaming up fake stories of heroism or something.]

I guess that's something someone smart would say.

[ But that wasn't an answer that "should" have come from that kind of question. Alas, it's pretty telling regardless. ]

Watching her scramble and try to figure out what to do while complaining would at least be amusing.

That's a surprisingly cruel answer.

[ Not that Giorno sees anything fundamentally wrong with it aside from the obvious. Perhaps she would provide for him more than just amusement as well? ]

I won't argue that. As the saying goes 'what comes around goes around'. Well, that's a fantasy, at least. In reality, in that kind of desert island situation, I'd be much worse off doing what I proposed.

[ What kind of a Master do you even have... This boy is starting to really wonder. ]

And just why would that be?

With all the yelling and screaming and violence, I don't think I could answer that question with any level of specifics.

I see. It sounds as if your master is quite the handful.
