Who:
emotive & anyone else
When: Backdated to 7/9 = 5/18, prompted by this conversation in particular
Where: The Park
What: Ai goes to do community service by cleaning out the pond and relieving it of a robot skeleton.
Rating/Warning: Skeletons
[ People may have noticed that the carnivorous fish in the pond looked plumper than usual and usually content at that. The remains of robots had yet to be cleaned up at this point and it's an eerie sight considering the city is usually spic and span. Ai Thao is someone who's quite neat and tidy. In fact, she feels bad whenever she doesn't pick up after herself and that includes the fact that she did push her robot double into the park's pond. It's about time she got around to this since she's been putting it off for too long.
So you may be walking along a path in the park, minding your own business and suddenly fattened fish with long, sharp teeth are floating up into the air...
Wait.
Oh, they're going down again and there's a splash and a voice. ]
It HAS to be down there somewhere!

[ How terrible...all this enabling...
Nevertheless, back to the topic at (psychic) hand. ]
But what were you searching for?
no subject
[She twiddles with her fingers, sighing wearily at the memory.]
Um, long story short, I pushed it into the water. And electrocuted it. And the fish probably helped that process along too...

[ Regret? Responsibility? Going green??? The robot skeletons aren't disappearing...at least he got rid of his on a molecular level very quickly when he could. ]

lameamazing!!]I guess I just want to finish cleaning up the mess I made! And leaving a body, robotic or not, doesn't sit right with me.
no subject
Ah, but this isn't about him. This is about Ai, who wants to make amends. Somehow. ]
In that case, I offer my assistance.
[ It might be kind of out of the blue, but hey. This is apparently what he comes to the park to do: people-watch, and occasionally people-interact. ]

[Her face lights up at Saiduq's offer. He's been nothing, but kind to Ai as far as she's concerned and she appreciates every little bit of it.]
I'll gladly accept your assistance then! Although, what are you able to do?
no subject
[
except see the rest of his friends again, apparentlyHe puts his fingers to his mouth, and lets out a low hum in thought. ]
What I will do for you depends on what you want. Do you want me to retrieve its body and destroy it utterly?
[ She wants to clean up the mess, right? ]

Billions of years and can't even do that?!!!Ai thinks for a second and nods.]It'd be good to take a look at the body first! If there's nothing either of us can glean from it, let's just dispose of it so nothing's left behind.

[ With that, Saiduq walks (yes, walks, he's been getting some practice in!!) over to the edge of the pond, leaning towards it and seemingly letting gravity overtake him this once, and then...unceremoniously falls into the pond. ]
no subject
S-SAIDUQ!? UM, ah, wh-wha-wha?! Are you...!?
[Ai is PANICKING, but then remembers, well he hasn't lived a billion years for nothing?! HOPEFULLY!?]

Is this it?

ITEM RECEIVED.
x1 ROBOT CORPSE]
That has to be it! Let's take a look at it!
no subject
Hm...I believe you are more familiar with your own physical appearance than I am.
[ He hasn't gotten to that level of creeper with Ai. ]
no subject
Hmmm...
[Ai kneels down to study the skeleton. The teeth marks are prevalent and the patches of hair although matted, are dark, and if dried out...]
It's my hair color. And this is a dress it took from me when it started to try and echo me.
[Ai nods.]
I'm positive. It's mine.
[... Ai stands up silently looking rather solemn.]
Saiduq? Please destroy it.
no subject
[ Well, if she's asking in that way, then she must be certain it has to be destroyed by someone else's hand, and not hers. Perhaps she isn't confident in her ability to reduce it to ashes. Saiduq, however, is.
He leans in, examining the robot corpse, and then brings his fingers together, in a pinching motion. As he does so, the rusted joints creak and bend under an invisible pressure that gets stronger the closer his index finger and thumb get to each other, as if trapped in a ball that keeps shrinking and shrinking, until they meet and the corpse disappears entirely in one loud, metallic pop. ]
