[ People may have noticed that the carnivorous fish in the pond looked plumper than usual and usually content at that. The remains of robots had yet to be cleaned up at this point and it's an eerie sight considering the city is usually spic and span. Ai Thao is someone who's quite neat and tidy. In fact, she feels bad whenever she doesn't pick up after herself and that includes the fact that she did push her robot double into the park's pond. It's about time she got around to this since she's been putting it off for too long.

So you may be walking along a path in the park, minding your own business and suddenly fattened fish with long, sharp teeth are floating up into the air...

Wait.

Oh, they're going down again and there's a splash and a voice. ]

It HAS to be down there somewhere!

[Edgeworth was at the park, playing with his dog, when a shadow falls over him. Pess starts barking when he looks up at what's causing the shadow, and Edgeworth gasps at the fat floating fish with very sharp teeth, staring up likewise and wondering what was going on. Was this an alien fish with different powers or something?

When it flops back into the nearby pond, the splash absolutely soaks both him and his dog.]

Aaaagh!

[Edgeworth was not fast enough to dodge - and neither did he expect the fish to fall back into the water so soon. When he hears the voice - the very familiar voice - he follows it, his footsteps squishing against the path and the grass while Pess shakes himself dry. Needless to say, most of the water droplets flying off the dog land on Edgeworth.

Yeah, Ai, here's Edgeworth, damp from head to toe and not at all pleased that he's dripping wet. His hair is plastered all over his head, his cravat is limp and soggy and no longer frilly, and his suit is a mess.]

Miss Ai, what's going on?!

Mr. Edgeworth??

[Ai turns around after several more fish that was flopping on the surface, slide back into the pond before they can try and flip over to bite their ankles off.]

You're wet!

[prosecutory]

[Edgeworth notices the fish on the ground, but before he can step away from them and draw his sword, or at least keep his border collie away from them, they slide back into the water as if reeled back in by invisible wires.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist (or in this case, a genius prosecutor) to figure out what's going on.]

Yes. [He lets out an exasperated sigh, slicking back his wet hair. A lot of it got into his eyes.] What are you doing to the fish?

[dogdogdogcutedog Ai walks up to Edgeworth, fretting somewhat over being the cause of his current not-dry status.]

I-I'm so sorry! I'm looking for something in the pond, but all I'm lifting out of the pond are the fish.

[Fushimi doesn't even like the park, honestly. There's far too much nature and his allergies are unpredictable sometimes, but there was some stupid promotional event going on in the street on his usual way home, so he's making an exception and cutting through it.

He's minding his own business and wondering why on earth anyone would want to spend their time here when... yup, that's definitely a levitating fish, and that's definitely Ai talking to it? At it?

[She recognizes Fushimi even if it's been a while since the pho party. She turns to lower the fish down into the pond without making a splash out of consideration.]

I-I'm sorry, I'm... I'm looking for something, but I keeping getting fish instead.

[That... that just raises even more questions, seriously. Somewhere deep down, he does appreciate not being splashed by descending fish, because that would be all he needs, gross fish water all over the place.

He clicks his tongue quietly, mostly because he really doesn't need to be apologized to, since Ai is weird but not doing anything particularly wrong, and looks at the pond where the hapless fish are probably feeling just as confused as he is.]

"Something"? It must have been valuable if you're going through all of this trouble.

Uh, it's not so much valuable as it is... Well, if it stays in the pond any longer, it could wreck the ecosystem? Maybe??

[Ai crosses her arms thinking...]

Cause the fish got bigger after all and they're dangerous enough as it is....

[Rock Lee was doing a usual jog through the park when he noticed the odd sight of the bloated fish falling down into the water.

He came to a stop and looked around in confusion, quickly recognizing the other person's voice.]

Ah... Ai-san, is that you?!

Lee? Y-Yes!

[... There's a fat fish that Ai looks at rather thoughtfully... No, no it'll probably give her a stomachache so that one goes back into the water with a plop.]

Don't mind me! I'm trying not to make a mess...

Ai-san! It is you! [He approaches her with a confused frown, but he does still look very impressed when that fish is dropped into the lake.]

Ah, but what is it that you are doing? Do you require assistance?

I'm trying to fish a robot out of the pond, but I just keep getting fish.

[ With literally no warning or heads up, Saiduq appears right behind her as she pulls out yet another fish and then drops it back in. He couldn't help his curiosity, and the park is one of his favorite places to be when it comes to people-watching, so... ]

Are you...fishing for something in particular?

[YIKES, Alcor please give a heads up! Ai jumps and the fish floating in the air seem to bounce along with her since her concentration wavered with his sudden appearance.]

Oh, Saiduq! You scared me!

Did I? I'm sorry. I have a tendency to do that. It seems that you have yet to become accustomed to my ways.

[He does this so much doesn't he... Ai sighs in relief though because, hey it's Saiduq. And she hasn't seem him since the party so it's good to see him again at any rate.]

( Being new, Soleil had every intention of familiarizing herself with Cerealia. Finding a pond is a relief, as all the futuristic technology has been overwhelming. She keeps close to the water during her walk. Seeing something as natural as a pond is something normal and comforting.

What isn't normal and comforting, though, is she sudden appearance of a big fish floating up from the water and crashing back down. The spray water soaks her. )

Wh-What? Not again!

[Nooo, she doesn't have anything to dry her off with except her jacket to hand to Soleil, so Ai Thao does exactly that. She takes off her jacket and holds it out to Soleil.]

I'm really sorry, I really am! I was so busy searching, I completely disregarded other people around me. If you please, take this so you can have something to dry off with!

( Soleil's frustration is immediately replaced with a bright (if slightly confused) smile as notices Ai Thao. She looks at the jacket and pushes it back at the girl. )

No, no! I'm not going to dirty your coat. Besides, it's not like you made the fish do that, right?

( Soleil shakes her hair like something between a dog and a shampoo commercial. )

[The park is one of the few places around the colony that feels even remotely like home, so Lavellan has found herself wandering around its winding paths where she can lose herself in the gentle scent of clean air, the gentle rustling of trees, and the frustrated voice of a young woman.]

[Ai looks rather insistent!! Well, insistent as one can be while several fat fish float in the air, angrily flopping their wet fins and snapping their teeth.]

[A sight that makes Lavellan clear her throat and politely tilt her head in the direction of the fish.]
