[ People may have noticed that the carnivorous fish in the pond looked plumper than usual and usually content at that. The remains of robots had yet to be cleaned up at this point and it's an eerie sight considering the city is usually spic and span. Ai Thao is someone who's quite neat and tidy. In fact, she feels bad whenever she doesn't pick up after herself and that includes the fact that she did push her robot double into the park's pond. It's about time she got around to this since she's been putting it off for too long.

So you may be walking along a path in the park, minding your own business and suddenly fattened fish with long, sharp teeth are floating up into the air...

Wait.

Oh, they're going down again and there's a splash and a voice. ]

It HAS to be down there somewhere!

[Edgeworth shakes his head. Unless he gets knocked by the next fish into the pond, he's golden. He can just head home or purchase a towel along the way.]

Say. Where did you get the dog anyways??

[Cause the lack of animal life in the city itself has always been a thing and anything else were mostly unnatural beasts from the jungle or something else entirely.]

[Pess has been lying on the grass watching the fish in the pond. Like a cat. But now he'll stand up and approach Ai again.]

[Ugh, how can she resist?? Dogs are so charming and wonderful! She eagerly pets Pess behind the ears, ruffling his fur affectionately.]

You're so lucky then! He's so adorable!

[prosecutory]

[Panting with glee, Pess savors the petting and the ruffling. His tail is wagging like crazy.]

"Lucky" is probably not the right word...I earned enough points on ViViD to regain him from my world.

Er...I wouldn't call it "amazing", either.

[He blushes a little. Playing video games is not that amazing even if he did it for his dog.]

I think it is! I don't play ViViD that often these days, but I think being good at the game shows a great amount of skill and not just in playing video games!

I suppose I ended up with a lot of practice, but I wouldn't have done it if I didn't have the chance to regain Pess.
