For those unlucky saps who disappear today, ranging from early in the morning towards the middle of the afternoon, well...they can't be reached by CereVice.
Any attempt to do so will bounce back the message User Currently Occupied.
It's an odd message, and one that's never been used by the CereVice. How strange. It's probably nothing though, right? No contact can be established between groups or from groups to outside people in Cerealia, whether by technology or magic. You're cut off from everyone but those in your groups, now.
Otherwise, all abilities will remain intact.
As for the people who do disappear, well... things get a little hairy really quickly.

There is no tagging order, so feel free to tag in whatever way works best for you as a group.
The characters should not ICly be gone longer than 5 hours -- if they survive, of course. There will be mod involvement in each of the threads.
If there are any questions, feel free to ask them here. Please try to avoid asking hypothetical questions (such as "What will happen if my character does [action]?") as that's part of the fun and risk of the interlude! You are welcome to plot with your groupmates in this post. Thank you!

She waits a moment or two after it's destroyed, but when she realizes the coldness isn't stopping, she turns her attention to the generator. Damn stupid confusing technology. ]
Well if that ain't it, then it's gotta be that one!
[ She points as her Blaziken rushes off to attempt to destroy the generator with another Double Kick.
Sapphire is the opposite kind of person who should be in here. ]

It will also start to smell pretty bad in here, the longer it warms up.
Now what? ]

Chic, are ya gonna be alright?!
[ Her Pokemon aren't lightweights, however, so it gives a determined and very serious nod as it slowly stands to its feet. She has other Pokemon with her, but she's not going to recall it for right now, especially since its flames are important in this place.
So she nods right back, before focusing on the rest of the room and its ... smell. It's bad, but it doesn't bother her much, other than being unsure of what's causing it. Maybe it's that box in the middle? It couldn't be anything else ... ] Wait here. I'm gonna check out that box ya broke, then we're gonna get outta here. This place's givin' me the creeps.
[ So over to the large metal box she goes to take a look. ]

On second glance, they don't appear to be human; they have odd alterations, such as fins, or claws, or blue skin or similar traits.
But they are all definitely very dead, and now that they're no longer on ice, they're starting to smell pretty rank. ]

She's not even going to be taking a second look, though, as she immediately lets out a yelp before stumbling back and falling on her rear, a very shaken expression on her face. She's seen a lot of death, not long before she was brought to Cerealia. It was horrifying then, and it's horrifying now. ]
Th-They're ... [ dead, and she's shaking like a leaf now. And just when she'd gotten rid of the cold, too. What the hell, Cerealia.
She makes her way back to her feet after a few moments. ] I-I dunno what's goin' on, but I ain't stayin' in here anymore!
[ She does not feel good about this place, at all. And honestly she's lost all interest in checking out the second room she could've gone in, too. So she backtracks into the original room where the door locked, her mind set on one thing: ]
We're takin' down that door!
[ And, as she says that, her Blaziken immediately knows what to do, quickly going at it with a Blaze Kick. ]

Still, Sapphire seems to be stuck; that didn't work at all. ]
no subject
Ya gotta be kiddin' me!
[ Nope, this place is not kidding, Sapphire. Especially not when she thinks she hears a sound from outside the door — something falling? That only proves to light more of a fire under her. This place is not safe, but she's not letting it beat her. ]
Fine, if ya wanna be difficult about it! [ Suddenly there is another large monster in the room, her Aggron. Its toughness is well-suited to busting through a door. Or at least that's what she thinks (hopes). ]
Rono, Take Down! [ And there it goes, slamming itself into the door. ]
no subject
Not the door, of course, that's still standing pretty firm with just a dent in it now.
But it sure does cause the floor, a little old and rusted and not all too steady, to cave under Sapphire and Aggron and Blaziken.
She'll fall, until she lands in a cold pool of water. The positive is that it breaks her fall.
The negative is that she's definitely hit a few rocks on the way down, leaving her with either a broken arm or a dislocated shoulder. ]
no subject
Both her and her Pokemon are caught off guard by that, which is what causes her to hit one of the first rocks going down, dislocating her shoulder on the way. Luckily, however, her Blaziken reorients itself part of the way down, and it's able to catch her in its arms (thank goodness for agile Pokemon) before they fall into the water. Instead, it'll land on a rock just barely sticking out above the edge of the water (it's a fire type, it doesn't want to touch that stuff).
The water breaks her Aggron's fall, though. Except Aggron aren't good with water, so it's not ... the best cushion for it ...
It takes her a few moments to come to, but when she does, the intense pain in her arm makes itself immediately apparent. She's got a higher pain tolerance than most kids her age, and normally bruises and scratches don't phase her at all, but having a dislocated shoulder is painful and nothing can really help her with that.
She winces and grinds her teeth as she grabs her arm, before she notices her Aggron down there in the water and shakily moves her free hand to return it to its Pokeball, a soft apology escaping her (she feels pretty awful right now). And then she moves that hand right back to her arm, as she looks around the area and tries to get her bearings. ]
Wh-Where the heck're we now?
no subject
At the very least, the path slopes gradually upwards, which means it might really be a way out. If she follows it for another good half hour, she'll be able to find a ladder and hopefully get out of the underground area, which will deposit her right into one of Cerealia's streets.
Strangely, if she tries to go back underground after that, the manhole cover that has replaced itself over that entrance absolutely will not budge. But hey, at least she survived -- she was only gone for a good 5 hours or so, too! ]
