For those unlucky saps who disappear today, ranging from early in the morning towards the middle of the afternoon, well...they can't be reached by CereVice.
Any attempt to do so will bounce back the message User Currently Occupied.
It's an odd message, and one that's never been used by the CereVice. How strange. It's probably nothing though, right? No contact can be established between groups or from groups to outside people in Cerealia, whether by technology or magic. You're cut off from everyone but those in your groups, now.
Otherwise, all abilities will remain intact.
As for the people who do disappear, well... things get a little hairy really quickly.

There is no tagging order, so feel free to tag in whatever way works best for you as a group.
The characters should not ICly be gone longer than 5 hours -- if they survive, of course. There will be mod involvement in each of the threads.
If there are any questions, feel free to ask them here. Please try to avoid asking hypothetical questions (such as "What will happen if my character does [action]?") as that's part of the fun and risk of the interlude! You are welcome to plot with your groupmates in this post. Thank you!

Raven...he's gone. [Her voice managed to stay mostly even.] What do we do?
[Should they bring his body with them? Leave him?]
no subject
[she glances over at iris as she comes into the room, frowning as she thinks that over.]
I... don't know.
no subject
But he does turn, once he has taken what he can fit in his pants pockets. ]
We should continue forward.
no subject
[Maybe...maybe they could come back for him later...]
Which way? I'll follow you.
[And then, almost as an afterthought:] Did you find anything more?
no subject
[Speaking of which, she's also going to grab some of the vials before looking for the next exit.]
no subject
[ But probably too bulky to bring on an adventure that might have more random monster attacks.
He'll follow Adelina towards the next exit. ]

Both Togami and Adelina, who have them in their hands or pockets, will suddenly glitch. For a moment, they will be in a coded space outside of both Cerealia and the Nexus Code -- it's artificial, almost like an unfinished ViViD level. And in that level, there's a single person who gives them a serious look.
There's a robotic voice: ]
Those aren't safe, you know. Take care with them.
[ And then they'll be glitched right back into Cerealia, finding themselves standing in the middle of a street in the Entertainment District, vials still in their hands and pockets. They'll have some nausea problems and vertigo for the next 2 IC days, but otherwise they're safe!
Of course, this leaves poor Iris alone. She'll be able to carry on into the next room, which appears to be a waiting room! There's even a robot receptionist studying its nails. Huh. Cheesy elevator music plays. ]
no subject
All of these things. The...instruments...and the energy...and the liquids...
[She mulled over those thoughts as she started to follow them bo--]
[UNTIL THEY ABRUPTLY DISAPPEARED]
[!!!]
Where--?
[She glanced around, head whipping from side to side. Heading into the next room, only to find a...another robot.]
[Her mouth opened in stunned, silent surprise.]
. . .

Alternatively, there's a set of stairs to the right and a door behind the receptionist, but it's hard to say where either lead. ]
no subject
[She could have just walked around, sure, but there was no guarantee she just wouldn't end up even more lost than before. So Iris spent a long moment staring at the "receptionist". Her mouth opening and closing in silent confusion several times before she was able to form the proper words to ask:]
E...excuse me? Could you...please tell me where exactly I am?
no subject
Where you aren't supposed to be. [ Well, that's helpful. ] Take the stairs to get back to the city. You should probably hurry. They won't be glad to see you here.
no subject
[Glancing between the receptionist and the stairs, Iris gave a small nod in acknowledgement. She moved to head towards the stairs before pausing. Just long enough for one last question.]
...who won't be glad?
no subject
CERES.
You are not supposed to be here.
no subject
[With that, though, Iris headed straight for those stairs. Hoping that the receptionist was telling the truth about where they led. Right then, she wanted nothing more than to make it back to the city...see her friends and loved ones again....]
no subject
But when she leaves the theater, she'll be in Cerealia proper, in the Entertainment District.
Welcome back, Iris! ]
